I write to thank the officers and committee of the above for the kind invitation to judge at this very well run show. There was a lovely atmosphere with applause for the winners. Thanks to Craig, my full time steward, who, along with various others, kept the ring flowing. Finally thanks to the exhibitors for allowing me to judge so many lovely dogs.

Cocker Spaniel

Junior

1st – Chataway Let’s Jive, well grown black male, masculine in head with lovely dark eyes and ears well set, good length of neck and well placed shoulders, firm topline, good width of thigh and turn of stifle, good bone and neat feet, deep well ribbed body, well presented coat, moved out smartly.

2nd – Lynshow Apache, just 6 months, and a real baby, pretty head and gently expressive eyes, nicely put together and moved out really well shown in well presented coat and well handled.

3rd – Annaside Swing On A Star

Post Graduate

1st – Annaside Swing On A Star, still very much a baby but shows plenty of promise, lovely attitude and moved like she enjoyed herself.

1st – Annaside You are My Sunshine, 3 year old bitch of good type and quality, lovely in head with expressive eyes, good reach of neck fitting cleanly in to well laid shoulders, firm sloping topline and well constructed rear, good bone and feet, well ribbed and short coupled, well presented and in good muscular condition, moved with purpose. 2nd – Quettadene Stars Aligned Over Bordacity JW, well constructed 2 year old male, shown in good coat and condition, moved with strong driving action.

1st – Hosokter Tisza At Goldpaw, 11 year old bitch, lovely head and eye with gentle expression, good reach of neck and well placed shoulders, firm topline, nicely angulated at rear, good bone and rounded foot, deep in chest with good spring of rib, correct coat texture, moved well.

2nd – Starshot Overwatch, 10 month male, still needing time, pleasing in head and eye, good reach of neck and adequate shoulder placement, good topline and moderate rear angulation, good coat and moved nicely.

1st – Vivash Hunor, 2 year old boy of good type, he has a really good outline, lovely head and eyes of good shape and colour, muscular neck of good length, fitting cleanly into well placed shoulders, firm topline, moderate rear angulation good depth of chest with well sprung ribs, moved with reach and drive

2nd – Oakswarren Believe In Magic, very promising young bitch of super type and quality, lovely head with kindly expressive eyes, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, nicely developed at rear for her age, good bone and tight feet, good ribbing, moved straight and true.

1st – Oroshaza Bumble Bee JW TP23 3 year old bitch of quality, medium size and very well balanced, clean outline, well proportioned head, gently expressive eyes, muscular neck of good length fitting cleanly into well laid shoulders, firm level topline held on the move, good rear angulation allowing strong driving action, good bone and tight feet, deep in chest with well sprung ribs and short muscular loin, she covered the ground effortessly. 2nd – Vizash Heiress Of Caorunn JW, stronger built bitch but still very feminine, pleasing in head and eye, muscular neck and well place shoulders, firm topline and good rear angles, well boned and good feet, deep in chest and very well ribbed, moved out well.

2nd – Walshaw Illusion Over Elvistar, 5year old bitch of good type and size, well proportioned head with kindly expressive eyes, good neck and shoulders, firm topline and moderate rear angulation, good bone and feet, deep in chest and well ribbed, in lovely coat, moved out well.

1st – Nadavin Nusa At Sagala, 3 year old black bitch shown in gleaming coat, she is so balanced with a lovely head piece dark eyes of good shape, ears set on low, good length of neck and shoulders sloping, strong level topline, good width of thigh and bend of stifle, good bone and tight feet, her chest is deep with good ribbing, shown in lovely coat and muscular condition, moved well in front with drive behind, very well handled. BOB

2nd – Sonnetend You Belong To Me At Pennybeck, l/w super head and eye, pleasing in neck and shoulder, firm level back, good width of thigh and bend of stifle, good bone would prefer tighter feet, well ribbed body, lovely temperament, moved ok.

1st – Irisbel From Now On, quality 3 year old male, good size and outline, masculine in head with dark eyes with ears of good length set on low, muscular neck and well placed shoulders, level topline, excellent rear angulation, very good bone and feet, deep in chest with ribbing of good shape and length, shown in well presented coat and lovely condition strode out well.

2nd – Ewtor Crazy Kind Of Love At Pennyeck, 9 year old bitch, so feminine, lovely head and gentle expressive dark eyes, ears set on low, well constructed throughout which showed in her movement, nicely presented coat, moved soundly.

1st – Eastriding Royal Style 14 month bitch of excellent quality and type, lovely head and eye, ears nicely set on, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders, firm topline and well angulated rear, true front with good bone and tight feet, deep in chest and well ribbed, shown in super coat and condition, moved with reach and drive. 2nd – Eastriding Devotion, male version of the above but not so well developed, typical for a young male, slightly leggy at this stage but very promising, shown in lovely condition and carefully handled by his young handler.

1st – Gilliegrae So Berry Excited – (IRWS)1 year old male of lovely quality, super head and bright eyes, good length of neck fitting cleanly into sloping shoulders, firm topline and good rear angulation, good bone and feet, deep in chest and ribs of good shape and length, moved out well but rather restricted with the size of ring, I have seen him move out better, beautifully presented and well handled. PG 2

Post Graduate

1st – Schonhund Show At The Oscars ( Weimaraner ), strongly built young male of good type, super head, muscular neck of good length, well placed shoulders, firm sloping topline and powerfully built rear giving strong driving action, good bone and feet, very deep in chest with good ribbing back to muscular loin moved with reach and drive, very well handled.

2nd – Rozebottel’s Mario Tronti (Imp NED) (Lagotto ), smart 3 year old male, lovely outline and balance, he is well proportioned throughout, pleasing in head and eye, nicely angulated fore and aft, shown in good coat and super condition, move well.

1st – Creeaark Austin Healey From Chabrouille ShCEx (Clumber Spaniel) 2 year male who is starting to fulfill his early promise, he so well balanced, lovely bone and substance, cracking in head and eye, well constructed fore and aft, deep in chest with very good ribbing, shown in well presented coat, typical rolling gate and covering the ground well. GP 2

2nd – SH CH/CZE CH Bonapartist Peaky Blinder Avec Aukskara ShCEx ( Brittany Spaniel ), 5 year old dog shown in first class condition and expertly handled, certainly a quality example of the breed, cobby and balanced, lovely head piece and kindly eyes, ears set on nicely, good reach of neck and well placed shoulders, firm sloping topline, moderate rear angulation, good bone and tight feet, good depth of chest and well ribbed, lovely on the move.

3rd – Maureatai Miracle Of Dreams (Chesapeake )

1st – Pry Acta Non Verba At Ansona (SRHP), 6 month bitch and so full of promise, her outline is superb, sweet head and gentle expressive eyes, good reach of neck and sloping shoulders, moderate rear angulation, nice bone and feet, body obviously has a way to go but I think she will finish well, carefully handled.

1st – Sh Ch Owlspoint Trouble Again JW ShCEX OSW – (Bracco ), a dog that I have done well on one or two occasions, he has a super outline and is full of breed type and quality, cracking head and lovely eye, muscular neck and well placed shoulders, firm level topline which he holds on he move, well angulated at rear, very good bone and feet, deep in chest with good ribbing back to muscular loin, moved with purpose, reach and drive.

2nd – Sh Ch Evening Mist Black Brianta (Imp Cze ) - Flatcoat ), 7 year old feminine bitch with super type and quality, lovely head and dark expressive eyes, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders, firm level topline, good width of thigh and bend of stifle, good bone and neat feet, deep chest and well ribbed back to short couplings, shown in well presented gleaming black coat and in good muscular order, she moved with reach drive and style. Another worthy titleholder.

3rd – Dilworthy Williams Prince JW Vw (Golden Ret) a lovely dog who showed himself off so well, and moved out super.

1st – Highbrook Isle Of Dreams, 2 year old sable bitch of good type, she has a smaller frame but a lovely outline, pretty head and soft expression from bright eyes, well put together and very sound on the move, shown in well presented coat and well handled. BOB

2nd – Balidorn Olympic Star With Solyric, another nice sable, well proportioned throughout, lovely head and eye with ears nicely set, nicely constructed and angulated, lovely coat, moved ok - seemed rather hesitant.

1st – Coldelee New Kid In Town 8 month sable dog, lovely balanced outline, beautiful wedge shaped head with bright dark eyes giving soft expression, ears nicely set on and carried as should be, strong neck of good length and shoulders sloping, he held his topline well on the move, tail carried correctly, nicely constructed at rear, good straight bone and tight oval feet, well bodied, and moving straight and true with reach and drive, a very promising youngster. 1st – CH Windgunn’s Rio Grande, a favourite of mine, excellent quality and super breed type, nothing unsound here, she is so feminine throughout, nicely proportioned head with gently expressive dark eyes and ears held erect, muscular neck of good length fitting cleanly into sloping shoulders, straight topline held on the move, good length to croup and well constructed rear, good bone, up on pasterns with tight feet, deep in chest and well ribbed back to muscular loin, excellent coat with hard texture, her movement was first class even in the smaller ring, but in the main ring she was fantastic and her handler deserves the highest of praise he really got the best from her, delighted to see her take top honours, I told her owner previously she should make up and pleased to see this is the case, well done. 2nd – Ancksunamun Host Of Goa’uld,, 11 month dog giving away a lot here in maturity, his body is long and sturdy, pleasing in head and eye, good reach of neck and shoulders well placed, slightly soft in topline, well angulated at rear, very good bone and tight feet, pronounced forechest and good ribbing, in lovely condition, moved well. 1st – Jewel Child Of Joy Orleanshow (Imp CZE), quality 3 year old bitch of super type and balance, very feminine throughout, lovely wedge shaped head and bright almond shaped eyes, ears fully up, all giving a stunning expression, good length of neck and well placed shoulders, back not too long and firm, moderate rear angulation, very good bone and feet of correct shape and covered in hair, deep through chest and ribbing of good shape and length, correct coat texture and carrying a good undercoat, very nice mover and very well handled. 2nd – Taronakits Kall Me Kaylee At Xenora ShCM, this is a lovely sound bitch of 10 years a real credit to her owner, she has super outline and very pretty head with the softest expressive eyes and ears held aloft, well constructed and in lovely coat and condition, moved as if she was really enjoying herself, just lovely.

3rd – Annecy’s Mischievious Max

1st – Railtown Aura (BSD Mal), outstanding on the move, clean outline, nicely headed, good neck and shoulders, firm topline held on the move, moderate rear angulation, good bone and feet, body maturing nicely for this 6 month old bitch, shown in good coat and condition.

2nd – Ribblespride Kruger ( Lancs Heeler)10 month male of good type and size, sturdy frame, pleasing in head and eye, scores in neck and shoulder, firm topline held on the move, well put together at rear, nice bone and feet, deep in chest with super ribbing, moved well with tail curled over back.

1st – Luavjan’s Moulin Rouge (Imp ITA) (BSD Terv) 1 year old red bitch of good type, pleasing in outline, lovely head and neck of good length fitting cleanly in to well placed shoulders, good topline held on the move, moderate rear angulation, straight front with good bone and tight feet, deep in chest and well ribbed, in profuse coat, moved really nicely.

2nd – Revloch Shakira At Kelfly (IKC) (BSD Groen) , feminine 3 year old with super outline, pleasing in head and eye, adequate neck and shoulder, firm topline and deep in chest with very good ribbing, shown in well presented black coat, moved well.

1st – Prima Enso Boreas For Cordante _Imp LTU) (Hung Puli ),strongly built square, 6 year old male of excellent type and quality, lovely head and eye, muscular neck of good length and well placed shoulders, firm topline held on the move, powerful and well angulated at rear, good bone and tight round feet, deep in chest with excellent ribbing, excellent cording to coat, short stepping action delighted to see pads as he went away GP 2

2nd – Rvloch Kasanova (IKC) JW ShCM VW (BSD Groen) fantastic 11 year old example of the breed that I have awarded top honours before, he is so full of quality and breed type, best of heads and dark kindly eye, well constructed all through and this really shows in his movement, beautifully presented and expertly handled.
