Whippet
I would like to say a huge thankyou to The Hound Association Premier Open show for inviting me to judge whippets at your prestigious show. We were in Bingley Hall in a huge ring with green carpet - which was lovely for the whippets. Thank you to all the exhibitors for bringing your lovely whippets along, I thoroughly enjoyed my day.
PD (2,0) 1. Foxwell’s Cobyco Capture The Look At Redfoxia – 7 month old shapely brindle dog who is very well put together throughout. Masculine head of correct proportions, long muscular neck into excellent front construction with slight spring of pastern. He has plenty of depth of brisket for his age, excellent spring of rib and holds his topline correctly both on the stack and on the move. He is balanced throughout, with his moderate rear angulation complimenting his excellent front. He moved soundly and with purpose, driving from the rear. BP and delighted to hear he won Puppy Group 3. 2. Perkins’ Silkridge Figgy Pudding With Zeglynn – 6 month old particolour dog who is a raw puppy, but very well put together. Masculine head of correct proportions into his long muscular neck and excellent front construction. Moderate bladed bone, slight spring of pastern and well knuckled feet. He has a good depth of brisket for his age, muscular loin and has moderate rear angulation with well let down hocks. Balanced throughout. Held his topline well at all times, he just needs to settle a little on the move. True fore and aft. Unlucky to meet 1 today.
