1. Phillips’ Shebelta Sweet Soul Music JW (BOB)

Loved this boy for type and balance, topped off with an elegant yet male head with a soft appealing expression. Correct angles all through, moved well, holding topline with excellent foot fall. Good substance with deep ribs and had excellent feet.

2. Burrows’ Dilworthey Secret Santa

Close decision with 1st, pleasing head with keen dark eyes, balance head with correct proportions. Good angles and moved well with well-muscled quarters.

3. Liggins & Hodges’ Swanavly Popsy’s Legacy at Nunsbrook (Imp SRB)

4. Riley’s Wylloh Paddington Bear JW

Open (6 – 2)

1. Liggins & Hodges’ Silver Passion Glam Fashion at Nunsbrook (Imp DEU)

Won this class on his movement and level topline. Stronger in head than the limit winner but pleasing none the less. Correct angles fore and aft, was well off for substance and balanced.

2. Riley’s Jasrolyn Doe Ray Me among Wylloh JW

Ultra feminine bitch with an intelligent expression. Has depth and breadth to fore chest. Moved well but not the rear drive of the first.

3. Wallis’ Blue Gemstone Katrina at Camellis

4. Murray’s Shebelta Soul Man

Junior (2-1)

1. Hawkins’ Weimaraner - Schonhund Show at the Oscars

A bigger type of Weimaraner but still had quality, am not sure that the small ring did him any favours. But saw enough to appreciate his spirited movement, level topline and foot fall. Lovely head and pleasing angles with well-muscled quarters.

Limit (5-3)

1. Disley’s CCR - Firecurl Redwing

Black bitch with lovely head and dark eye, great depth and width to fore chest and really good substance. Coat was reasonable and moved OK, holding her topline.

2. Whittaker’s FCR - Jetstarski Run Like Hell JW

Correctly made feminine bitch with lovely angles, moved gracefully on strongly muscled quarters. Unfortunately was a tad out of body condition.

Open (4-3)

1. Newman-Jones’ Bracco - Olympos Il Mio Elio Del Sole Haunsperg (IMP Dnk)

My star of the day, loved him for breed type and movement which was foot perfect, powered around the ring like he owned it, which he did! Great head commanding nobility, correct angles and substance, wonderful feet. Well-muscled with great drive at the rear and reach at the front.
