Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit)

Puppy – 6 entries, 1 absent

1. Jour Apres Jour Twice at Nice (ATC NLD) – 6 month old outstanding puppy who is everything you would want in a puppy this age. So good to go over with a super coat. Very mature for age. Moves soundly with correct reach and drive. BPIB

2. Cynetkoy Charlie Brown – male of good type with an excellent head and ear. Good angulation fore and aft, moved well and in excellent coat.

Post Graduate – 13 entries, 2 absent

1. Overbecks Finn Shelby – Super type of dog with an excellent head and balanced angulation throughout. Sound on the move with parallel fore and aft movement and covering plenty of ground in profile.

2. Overbecks Ruby Shelby – Litter sister to 1 and very similar in type. Somewhat spirited which made it difficult to assess but when she settled was again lovely to go over and moved so well.

Open Dog – 9 entries, 1 absent

1. Jour Apres Jour Sky Rocket (ATC NLD) – Ultra stylish and so sound on the move with excellent reach and drive. Had showmanship without spoiling the rustic hound appearance. Loved his head, has an excellent front and rear. BOB and so pleased to see him go BIS later in the day.

2. Erylan Poseidon De La Mer JW – Another lovely male who was close up to 1. This boy has an excellent head and neck, superb ribbing and good front angulation. Moved soundly, just preferred the rear drive of 1st in profile.

Open Bitch – 7 entries, 2 absent

1. Jour Apres Jour Cherry Bomb (ATC NLD) – Another super hound from this kennel, 14 months and so correct, excellent head and neck, good fore and aft angulation. Super coat. Loved her profile movement. Just a tiny but close behind which cost her BOB. RBOB.

2. Callydena Mowdie Miss Chief – Very sound bitch with an excellent head, very good coat. Good rear angulation. Super on the move, just not quite the reach and drive of 1st.

Otterhounds

Post Graduate – 6 entries, 1 absent

1. Teckelgarth Kalliope – 2yr old bitch with an excellent coat, good head with correct proportions, good set and length of ear. Long neck leading into well laid shoulder, straight bone. Excellent ribbing, good rear. Moved very soundly with long ground covering stride. BOB

2. Olphae Fleur with Ottateck (AI) – Impressive male with an excellent coat. Excellent head, good length of neck leading into well angulated front. Good ribbing. Moderate rear. Stands and moves a little narrow behind but good in profile.

Open Dog – 2 entries

1. Teckelgarth Indefatigable – 2 yr old impressive male with a good length of neck, correct shoulder, good ribbing, moderate rear. Moved soundly with parallel front and hind movement. Covered the ground well. RBOB

2. Teckelgarth Jardine** - 2yr old male, preferred his head to 1, of excellent type with strong straight bone. Just slightly narrow behind but covered the ground well.

Open Bitch – 4 entries, 2 absent

1. Teckelgarth Le Lakme (AI) – 14 month old lovely bitch, so free on the move. Excellent head, good ears, good angulation fore and aft. Very good on the move, especially in profile. RBOB

2. Ottaryx Quinevere – 2yr old bitch who has an attractive head with good eyes and ears, good length of neck, good shoulder angulation. Moving a touch narrow behind but showed good reach and drive in profile.
