I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their very well run show, I really enjoyed it and had some quality dogs go over, I would also like to thank the exhibitors for their entries and for accepting my placings in such a good manner. I also thank my stewards for making it an enjoyable day and for running the ring in such an efficient manner.

1st. Mrs P Morley’s Trijem Double Dash Of Magic.

A 12 month old blue merle male, head and muzzle masculine and clean cut, ears well set on, eyes of the correct shape, strong neck, shoulders well laid back, deep chest and ribs well laid back, firm level topline. Nicley bent stifles and low set hocks, he moved positively with the required reach and drive, I feel he has a very promising future ahead. Very pleased to award him BOB and 1st in the Pastoral Group and thrilled to watch him being awarded RBIS.

2nd. Mrs P & Miss M Morley & Brazier’s Dizzy Marble Crown Prince (IMP UKR).

A 9 month male, another showing a typical and balanced outline, head of the correct proportions, ears well set, correct bite, strong neck and well laid shoulders, deep chest, level topline, well boned with the correct amount of bend to his stifle and low set hocks. I preferred the overall movement of the first placed dog, pleased to award him BP.

3rd. Ms L F White’s Caronlea Celtic Charmer At Joemarlea (IKC).

1st. Mrs S K & Mrs C A Land & Gittins. Soloyal Kiss Artist Around Casmawllan.

Almost 3 years old red male, he has a well-balanced and typical outline, he has a strong head and muzzle, ears well set and the correct bite. A Strong slightly arched neck, well laid shoulders, deep chest and ribcage carried well back and a strong loin, coat in good condition, nicely bent stifles and low set hocks, he was a little unruly on the day, but his movement was sound and true, pleased to award him RBOB.

2nd. Mrs P Morley’s Trijem Double Topaz.

A 12 month old bitch, I would have preferred more bone and substance throughout, she has a feminine expression and a clean cut head and muzzle, neck well set on, shoulders well laid back, deep chest and ribs carried well back, her movement was sound and true.

1st. Mrs S K & Mrs C A Land & Gittins. Soloyal Storyteller For Casmawllan.

A 5 year old bitch, she has a typical outline for the breed and is substantial throughout, I did feel she was a little too heavy on the day. Head and muzzle of the correct proportions, ears well set and the correct bite, strong neck, well laid shoulders and a level topline, ribs carried well back and a strong loin. Stifles nicely bent and low set hocks, she moved soundly and steadily around the ring.

A 13 month old bitch, showing a breed typical outline, I would have preferred more layback of shoulder, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, correct bite, strong neck, level back, rear quarters strong with well bent stifles and low set hocks. She moved soundly showing reach and drive profile, BOB.

2nd. Mrs J A Knock’s Tamjenta Baby One More Time.

A 20 month old bitch, showing a typical outline, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, ears well set on, I felt she was a little upright in shoulder placement, level topline, deep chest and ribs carried well back, strong rear quarters, well bent stifles and low set hocks, she moved steadily around the ring, BP.

3rd. Ms P A Mitchell’s Beabeardies Grace Kelly.

1st. V J Rudd’s Lubin’s London Calling.

A 5 year old male, looking balanced and in proportion, masculine head and muzzle, ears well set, strong neck, well laid shoulders. Level back, deep chest, ribs carried well back, strong rear quarters, nicely bent stifles and low set hocks, he moved soundly showing reach and drive in profile, RBOB.

2nd. Mrs L Bevis’s Beabeardies Cinnamon Girl.

A 5 year old bitch with a typical and balanced outline, head and muzzle of the correct proportions with a feminine expression, strong neck, well laid shoulders, deep chest but I would have preferred more lay back of shoulder. Level topline, strong rear quarters with the correct bend of stifle and low set hocks, she moved with reach and drive.

1st. Mrs C J & Mr L C Dalby’s Taytinja Speed Of Light Over Axernamoon.

A 7 month old B/W bitch, she has a balanced and typical outline, substantial but still feminine, head and muzzle of the correct proportions. She has dark eyes, neck of the correct length, well laid back shoulders, deep chest, ribs well sprung, strong loin,

hind quarters strong with well bent stifles, feet correct, she moved freely showing reach and drive, very pleased to award her BOB and BP.

2nd. Mrs J K Frawley’s Littlethorn Ghost.

A 15 month old male, he was a bit naughty and unsettled on the day making it difficult for his handler, he has a head and muzzle of the correct proportions, dark brown eyes and the correct bite. Neck of the correct length, well laid shoulders and a deep chest, ribcage carried well back, strong rear quarters and low set hocks.

A 2 year old bitch showing a feminine and balanced outline, head and muzzle correct, neck of the correct length, I would have preferred more layback of shoulder, ribs well sprung and carried well back, loin of the correct length, well-turned stifles, hocks well let down and she had a lively gait, RBOB.

An 11 month old bitch, showing a very typical and balanced outline, substantial throughout but still feminine, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, ears well set on, she has a long strong neck, well laid shoulders and upper arms, deep chest, well angulated rear quarters and strong hocks, she moved soundly showing reach and drive, I am sure she has a promising future ahead, pleased to award her RBOB and BP.

A 2 year old male, well boned and masculine throughout, balanced outline, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, ears well set on, well angulated front and rear quarters. Deep chest and ribs sufficiently sprung, strong loin, he moved soundly showing reach and drive in profile, pleased to award him BOB.

A 2 year old bitch showing the required square outline, coat profuse, well-groomed and presented, head of the correct proportions, well defined stop and a strong muzzle. Strong neck, well angulated front and rear quarters, deep chest, well sprung ribs. She moved with reach and drive, pleased to award her BOB.

2nd. Mrs P L Mills, Kerjalee All About Me.

A 2 year old bitch and another good example of the breed, it was a shame that she was a little hesitant today but that does not take away from her obvious qualities. Exhibiting the required short and compact body, head and muzzle of the correct proportion, correct bite, strong neck, shoulders well laid back. Deep chest and well sprung ribcage, ribs carried well back, strong loin and well bent stifles, she moved showing the required reach and drive, very pleased to award her Best Reserve BOB.

1st. Miss K L Durant’s Misti Moon Over Neraklee.

A 10 month old blue merle bitch and showing a lovely typical breed outline, balanced and in proportion, she has a refined head and muzzle, ears well set on, correct bite, neck of the correct length, well laid shoulders, deep chest, well sprung ribs and a level topline. She has well bent stifles, is in good coat and well presented, she moved gracefully showing reach and drive in profile, very pleased to award her Best Puppy.

2nd. Miss L Mettan-Ure, Oakcroft Graceful Star Over Savendie.

A 10 month old sable bitch, head of the correct proportions, ears well set on, correct bite, she has a strong well arched neck and well laid shoulders and upper arms, deep chest, well sprung rib cage, level topline, coat in good condition and well presented, she has strong rear quarters and well bent stifles, she moved well showing a lively gait, I just preferred the overall shape and balance of the first placed bitch.

1st. Mrs L S French’s Skeldale Wish Upon A Star Over Lindfern JW (IMP NLD).

A 2 year old sable bitch, another of the correct type balanced and in proportion, refined head and muzzle, ears well set on, neck strong, well laid shoulders and upper arms, deep chest, level back. She was a little out of coat but being well groomed and presented, nicely angulated rear quarters with well bent stifles, she moved gracefully and showed reach and drive in profile, very pleased to award her RBOB.

2nd. Miss L Mettan-Ure, Savendie Meleys.

A 12 month old bitch, not showing a typical outline today, I would have preferred a stronger topline, out of coat as some other exhibits are at the moment, head of the correct proportions, well set and carried ears, correct. Bite, nicely angulated front and rear quarters and she moved with drive and purpose.

1st. Miss M E Hoare’s Stanydale Ocean Wave.

A 2 year old merle male, showing the correct balanced outline and in good coat and well presented, a masculine but refined head and muzzle, ears well set on, strong neck, well laid shoulders and upper arms, deep brisket, well sprung ribcage, and ribs carried well back. Level topline, strong loin, well angulated rear quarters and stifles well bent. He moved with a lively gait showing reach and drive in profile, very pleased to award him BOB and third in the Pastoral Group.

2nd. Mr R & Mr K Taylor & Yuille’s Shelridge Quizmaster At Chelmermead.

A 2 year old tri coloured male, presenting a typical and balanced outline, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, bite correct, strong neck, shoulder blades well laid back, deep brisket and well sprung ribcage, level back and strong rear quarters, he moved with a lively gait showing reach and rive.

3rd. Mr R & Mr K Taylor & Yuille’s Shelridge Toastmaster At Chelmermead.

1st. Miss J Down’s Elessar Eclipse The Stars.

An 11 ½ month old bitch, she impressed me immediately with her overall breed type and a balanced outline, she is sturdy throughout but still feminine. She has a broad flat skull and a strong muzzle, strong neck, well laid shoulders, deep chest and well sprung ribs, correct amount of ground clearance, level topline. Strong rear quarters and well bent stifles, her movement is free and active and something else that impressed me, I think she has a very promising future ahead, very pleased to award her BOB, Best Puppy and Pastoral Puppy Group 1.

A 5 year old bitch, presenting a balanced outline but carrying a little too much weight today, head of the correct proportions, flat broad skull, strong muzzle, ears well set, strong neck, well laid back shoulders, deep brisket and well sprung ribcage, level topline and strong rear quarters, she moved steadily around the ring, RBOB.

He has a well sprung ribcage and ribs carried well back, strong rear quarters and well bent stifles, he moved steadily around the ring, RBAVNSC Pastoral.

A 3 year old sable and white male, head of the correct proportions, ears well set, dark eyes and the correct bite. He has a strong well arched neck, shoulders well laid and a deep chest, well sprung ribcage, correct topline and strong rear quarters with the correct bend of stifle. Coat in excellent condition with the correct texture, he moved with reach and drive, very pleased to award him Best AVNSC.

A 5 ½ year old bitch, she has a very typical and balanced outline, a rugged outlook with a harsh coat texture, skull and muzzle of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite. Strong neck leading into sloping shoulders, well sprung ribcage and a level topline. Strong rear quarters, well bent stifles, correct feet, her movement was sound and true, very pleased to award her best AV Imported Breed Register and reserve in the pastoral group.

A 9 year old sable male and what a pleasure to judge him, his overall presence, condition and movement belie his age, excellent breed type balanced and in proportion, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, strong neck, well laid shoulders and deep chest, well sprung ribcage, level back and strong rear quarters with nicely bent stifles. His movement is faultless being graceful and showing reach and drive in profile, Best Veteran and he was awarded a very well deserved Best Veteran In Show.
