Spire Toy Dog Open Show 2nd November 2025 Judge Jackie Young ( Newpark ) Bichon Frise Bolognese Coton De Tulear Havanese Thank you to the officers & committee members for inviting me to Judge at your open show . A well run & organised show that is one of my favourite open show. Many thanks to my stewards who were very efficient & organised leaving me to concentrate on my role. Finally to the exhibitor’s some of whom had travelled a considerable distance to give me their support, Thank you. Bichon Frise Puppy D/B (2,1) Curtis’s Elliebums The Magic Begins. 10 month Bitch . She epitomise happy lively , head of correct proportions in balance with her body , for her age . Lovely round dark eyes , with black rims forward looking .complete scissor bite , lips black. Good length of neck . Coat of correct texture silky, curls .Tail correctly carried over a level top line. A little more ring confidence needed, which will come with practice.BPIB & RBOB. Open D/B Brokengate’s Rebel Heart At Kontosky A compact girl of 2 years. Lovely dark eyes , round with black rims , nose black , ears correctly placed, strong jaw, scissor bite , nicely arched neck .good spring of rib. Correct tail, moved well with a good reach & drive from rear showing black pads. Stood alone but a worthy BOB. Bolognese puppy D/B (2,0) 1st Whateley’s Arkadlan Portofino 9 month male. Large dark round eyes, fully pigmented rims. Correct stop, nose black.scissor bite , medium neck , well laid shoulders . Level top line , movement parallel front and rear. A compact puppy showing promise. 2nd Green’s Annalisa With Samorrey 10 months ,pretty girl still very much a baby. Lovely expression with nice large dark eye, good pigment. Nicely balanced , unsure about this showing lark,maturity & a little confidence will help. Open D/B (1,1) 1st Whateley’s Lyckalotte 4 Years male. Wide flat skull ,correct stop, black nose, lovely expression with round , dark eyes, rims pigmented. Good neck into well laid shoulders,nice straight legs with elbows tucked closely to body.Good spring of rib,height to length correct resulting in a nice square boy. Feet oval with black pads, parallel movement . Coat white ,good length nicely flocked. BOB. Coton De Tulear Puppy D/B (1,1)Hancock’s Coton Karma shoot Me Down Bear At Cindaires.8 month boy well proportioned, lovely head fitting the breed standard , slightly rounded, shallow stop, nice black open nostrils . Dark expressive eyes ,rims fully pigmented.upper arm & forarm equal, straight with good bone.well muscled rear. Low set tail carried carried correctly on the move.movement true . Coat abundant and correct cotton texture. A lovely boy . BPIB. Post graduate D/B (2,1) 1st Montwhite Lady Vanilla Love At Cindaires 2.1/2 year old . Lovely head correct ratio of Skull to muzzle.correct shape viewed from above. Eyes set well apart , large, dark , round fully pigmented. Strong jaw perfect scissor bite. Well muscled . Correct topline with slight rise over loin. Coat of correct texture , excellently presented . BOB. Havanese Puppy D/B (1,0) walkers 1st Newtonwood Blaze Of Glory 12 months cream/white male , Just made puppy class . A well boned boy with a very masculine head for his age . Nice expression with dark Almond eyes , full pigmented rims . Length muzzle & head of equal proportions. Medium neck into well laid shoulders. Deep chest with elbows tucked well in. Positive movement , level topline with slight rise over loin . BPIB Junior D/B (3,1) 1st Clement’s Hugentobler Beatrice 17month Sable , nice size within standard. Very feminine with head of correct proportions. Nice dark eyes with dark rims , well laid shoulders , well nice depth of rib, elbows tucked well in. Level top line with slight rise over loin, movement positive with drive . 2nd krzyszkowski’s Corrondulla A Star Is Born. B/W parti a lovely size with the sweetest expression , nice dark eye , correct scissor bite . Head of good proportions equal in length from Occipital to stop as from stop to tip of nose. Upper arm equal from shoulder to elbow as from elbow to floor. Correct tuck. Just needs to gain a little more confidence.P/G D/B (5,2) 1st smith’s Elperrito Sheer Delight bitch 3&1/2 yr B/W good proportions throughout. Medium neck ,moderate lay of shoulder, well ribbed with elbows tucked closely under chest. Short loin , with slight rise and tuck up. A very typical havanese.2nd Krzyzkowski Corrondula All that Jazz , very attractive white boy of 17 months.very attractive head & expression ,silky coat of a good length. Moved well . Open D/B (7,5) 1st Smith’s Elperrito Simply Magic 3yrs 10mth brown/ sable & white. Lovely Proportions , correct muzzle to skull ratio 50/50 . Nice dark eye with a soft expression. Medium neck , well laid shoulders, level top line , correct tuck up with rise over loin. Moves purpose good reach and drive from rear with just a flash of pads. When she moved around the ring she owned it. No hesitation in awarding BOB 2nd Clements Kamilla Mano Pupsiukas gold sable 8 year old bitch very pretty of a nice size, good neck & lay of shoulder , lovely expression with her dark almond eye & black pigment . Medium bone equal length from shoulder to elbow as forearm from shoulder to floor . Length just slightly longer from withers to pint of buttock. In the class her young handler was not getting the best from her movement so I requested she return for the Res BOB with her owner.
