I want to thank the officers and committee for their kind invitation to judge at this well organised and friendly premier show. We had a good size ring to be able to assess the movement. A huge thank you to all the exhibitors for the pleasure of your lovely dogs, it was an honour to judge them.

Lancashire Heeler

Puppy (4,1)

1. Musk & Bingham - Kavalo Tougher Than The Rest

Keen and alert 11-month-old dog who has a pleasing and proportionate outline when standing, showing strength and balance. He has a masculine head with erect, well-used ears and dark, almond-shaped eyes. His neck is of good length, leading to a well-developed body, good depth and strong, with a firm topline. He moves with purpose and drive, with a good tail carriage. Presented in good coat and muscular condition BP & BOB

2. Mrs Budd - Kavalo Dancing In The Dark

Litter sister to the winner, with a very feminine head and a lovely dark eye. Liked her depth of brisket and well-developed forechest. She was not holding her topline as firmly as her brother today. She showed clean, parallel movement behind.

1. Mrs Braybrook - Tudorbrook Smartie Girl

Sturdy and compact 17-month-old bitch who has good body proportions and a well-balanced outline. She displays a nicely proportioned head with a flat skull and good length to her foreface. Her dark, inquisitive eyes convey a keen and alert expression. She has a deep ribcage with good spring and is short coupled. She moved out purposefully, although not as firm in her topline at times today.

1. Mrs Budd - Tudorbrook Hocus Pocus

Thought that this 3-year-old bitch was just right for size and balance. She is sturdy with feminine strength. She is very attentive to her handler and shows herself off to advantage. Good width between her erect ears, with a kind dark almond eye. Strength through the body, with a good spring to the ribs, a firm level topline and well-carried tail. She uses her wide quarters to drive around the ring. – RBOB

2. Musk & Bingham - Lankeela Our Marnie

Well-built and muscular 3-year-old dog with a lovely, attentive demeanour. Liked his overall balance and substance. He has a pleasing head with a flat skull and ample width between the ears. His forechest is well developed, and there is good depth to the brisket. He stands on well-boned legs and has wide, muscular quarters, tail a little more over the back. Shows good drive when moving, his front action not quite as tidy today.

1. Musk & Bingham - Parabar Puzzling Pilot

Smart 2-year-old dog with many admirable qualities. He has a sturdy build and strong bone of a nice size and overall substance. He has a balanced head, with good width at the back of the skull, nicely tapering to dark, intelligent eyes. His neck is of good length, and he has a firm topline and well-sprung ribcage. He moves well, making effective use of his wide quarters. He was close up to winners.

2. Mrs Budd - Parabar Primrosa

Happy and outgoing 4-year-old liver and tan bitch. She has a very feminine appearance and is alert in her demeanour. Her head is pleasing, with a flat skull of good width and nicely toning almond-shaped eyes. She has a clean neck of good length, a well-filled forechest, and a deep brisket. Short-coupled, but she tended to lose her topline today slightly. Once settled, she moves with drive and power.

Cairn Terrier

1. Mr & Mrs Saich - Lindcoly This Is The One

7-month-old cream brindle bitch is full of fun and personality. She has a well-proportioned and typical outline when standing. Lovely head, keen and alert in her expression, with neat ears and dark, inquisitive eyes. She has a good length of neck that flows into a firm topline and a well-set tail. As expected for her age, she is still developing throughout her body. She maintains her shape beautifully while on the move. BP & Puppy Group 3

1. Mrs Purvis - Mosspur Moving Shadows

 Pleasing 22-month-old red brindle bitch, who has a feminine appearance and a keen, alert expression. Although she still needs time to fully develop her body and is slightly longer in the loin, she possesses good leg length and moves with precision. Well presented and handled.

1. Miss Saich - Lindcoly Here Come’s Oh Shi

3-year-old brindle workmanlike bitch, who displays both spirit and character. She has an appealing head with a balanced skull width, a defined stop, and dark, mischievous eyes. Her neck is of good length, and she has a well-developed forechest with a good ribcage. As she moves, she maintains her outline and moves cleanly in all directions. BOB

2. Miss Tester - Airytykes Just Mischief

3-year-old bitch with a very outgoing temperament who can be a bit excitable when she moves. I liked her overall stamp and proportions. She has a feminine head with neat, small ears and dark eyes that give her a keen expression. Her body is well developed, with strong hindquarters and tidy feet. However, she tends to lose her topline a little when she moved today.

3. Mrs Purvis - Mosspur Time And Again

1. Miss Tester - Airytykes Socialite

Liked the outline of this 4-year-old bitch, she displays good overall balance and proportions. She has a feminine head with small, neat ears, and there is strength in her foreface, giving her a keen and alert demeanour. Her front is clean, although she doesn't quite have the fill in the forechest of the BOB. She has a good spring to her ribcage and a firm topline. Once settled, she moves true. RBOB

2. Miss Tester - Airytykes Excuse Me

8-year-old red bitch, who has many admirable qualities and quite a character. When standing, she presents a pleasing outline. Her head is well-shaped, and she has a good expression, showing attentiveness to her handler. I liked her spring of rib and firm topline, with a well-set tail. Presented in a harsh double coat. Movement today did not match that of the winner

1. Mr Haynes - Alantro Solid Step JW

Eye catching 11-month-old red dog, a true showman, and full of personality. Liked his flowing yet compact and sturdy outline. He has a good head piece, with good width between his small, neat ears. His dark almond-shaped eyes sparkle with mischief. He has a strong, well-ribbed body and a firm topline, and he strides out with confidence. Well presented with a harsh jacket - BP & BOB & Group 3 & Puppy Group 4

2. Ms Graves - Pipsacre Wasn’t Me

This is another impressive 11-month-old red dog. It was a close decision between these two lovely young dogs. I really loved his head and expression, especially his neat ears and small dark eyes. He has a good length of neck that flows into a firm topline, a fraction longer in loin. He stands on well-boned limbs. Today, he just lost out on the move today - RBOB

1. Miss Darkins - Ragus Sand Marten

Smart, 2-year-old dog who is happy and outgoing, showing himself off with style. He has a masculine head with dark eyes and strength to the foreface. His neck is of good length, ribs that are well carried back, with a firm topline and a well-set, and carried tail. He won for his driving action while on the move. Presented in a good jacket

2. Ms Graves - Pipsacre Along Came Polly

A 2-year-old red bitch with a pleasing outline; she is compact and exhibits feminine strength throughout. Not quite as keen, so not showing to full advantage. She has a very attractive head with neat ears and dark eyes. Her lovely, compact body shows good ribbing and a firm topline. Not quite as clean in her front movement today, she maintains a lovely outline in profile. She is presented with a good, harsh coat texture.

1. Mrs Marshall - Claela Laughter Is Timeless With Soufriere

Liked the outline of this 11-month-old tri bitch. She displays good overall balance with pleasing proportions. Loved her happy and exuberant demeanour. She has a feminine head, with a nicely domed skull and long ears framing her face, along with large, dark eyes. Her body is well-developed, just needing to firm up a little more in her topline. She has a ground-covering gait.BP

1. Mrs Marshall - Soufriere One Vision JW

Most attractive Tri bitch, 7 years old, but she certainly doesn't show her age. She has an endearing expression, with a well-balanced head that shows a nice dome to the back skull and good length to the foreface. Her large, dark eyes are tight and expressive. Whether standing or moving, she maintains a firm topline. Her ribcage is well-developed, with a good forechest. She powerfully drives around the ring using her strong, wide quarters. - BOB

2. Mrs Marshall - Soufriere Paserelle Bateau

Upstanding and noble 4-year-old tri dog has an appealing shape and presence when stood. He has a masculine head with good proportions, low-set ears, and a dark eye. Neck is of good length, leading to a firm topline and well-set tail. Well-developed throughout his body and stands on strong, well-boned limbs. However, today he was slightly outperformed in movement by his kennel mate.

1. Mr Osbourne - Beaujons Wayne Sleep With Braego

21-month-old lemon and white dog who is both stylish and workmanlike. He shows great showmanship and an exuberant spirit. With a shapely silhouette and excellent proportions, he has a pleasing masculine head, low-set ears, and dark eyes. He maintains a firm topline and a well-set tail. On the move shows powerful drive and enthusiasm. Presented with a good harsh jacket - BOB

1. Mrs Bishop - Jamar Miss Skylar

3-year-old tri bitch has a compact outline when standing, displaying good overall balance and proportions. She has an appealing head, well-proportioned, a slight dome at the back of the skull, and lovely dark oval eyes that give her a kind expression. Her neck is of good length, leading to a firm topline, and she is well-developed in body. Today she was not quite as tidy in movement as the winners.

6-year-old sable and white bitch, who presents a pleasing and balanced outline when stacked. She has the most feminine head, featuring a large dark eye and low-set ears that give her a gentle yet keen expression. Liked her strength throughout the body, with a well-developed forechest and a brisket that is well let down, supported by well-boned limbs. She showed good drive when moving, although at times she slightly lost her topline. presented in a harsh coat. - RBOB

1. Mrs Allchorne - Nelgus Golden Nugget

Striking two-year-old red and white dog who catches the eye when standing. He is full of quality and substance. He has a pleasing, masculine head with good proportions, a correctly shaped eye, long, low-set ears, though slightly flat, and good depth to the flews. His strong, arched neck is of good length and flows smoothly into a firm, well-held topline leading to a well-set tail. He has lovely depth through the body, a well-developed forechest, which fits nicely into the crook. As much as I admired this young dog, he did not show himself as well as his kennel mate when moving.- RBOB

2. Mrs McLean - Switherland Gabriella At Stookewood

4-year-old red and white bitch has good overall proportions. Today, she is carrying a bit more condition than I would prefer. She has a lean, feminine head that is well-shaped, with a good eye, low-set supple ears, and well-developed flews all giving her a gentle and calm expression. Her body is well-developed with a strong ribcage, although slightly losing her topline. She has lovely, strong quarters and well-boned limbs. A steady mover.

1. Mrs Allchorne - Nelgus Thyme Flies

Fell for this noble and upstanding 6-year-old red and white dog. He is a true stallion of a dog, unmistakably masculine. His impressive physique is strong and substantial, but he doesn't carry any excess weight. Masculine head with good planes, deep flews, and a correct eye shape, complemented by long, low set, and supple ears. His strong, crested neck transitions smoothly into a well held topline. Forechest is well developed and is neatly fitting into crook, limbs are strongly boned with large feet. His ribcage extends well back into strong, muscular quarters. He moves with enthusiasm and vigour - BOB – Delighted to watch him go onto win the Hound Group, and then ‘Best In Show’ – congratulations

1. Mr & Mrs Boutle - Applebroad Pink Lady (Cavalier)

16-month-old well broken Blenheim bitch who presents a pleasing and balanced outline when stood. She has a lovely head with a flat back skull, high-set, well-feathered ears framing her face, and beautiful dark eyes. She demonstrates good depth and spring in her ribcage while maintaining a firm topline. When moving, she does so positively, holding her outline and at one with her handler.

Toy Group

1. Mr & Mrs Gooch - Ch Lireva’s Well Fancy That For Cassibawn JW (Pom)

What a delightful character this 3-year-old orange dog is! Loved his fun and spirited nature. He is compact and dainty, yet there is no mistaking his gender. He looks spectacular on the stack, showing a typical compact outline and sound construction. He has a quality foxy head with a dark, slightly oval eye, small erect ears, and a clean muzzle. His body is well developed, with a short back and a high-set, profuse tail. He stands proudly in a four-square stance on his finely boned limbs and neat feet. It’s a pleasure to watch him on the move, with his brisk and purposeful strides. Delighted to watch him go onto win RBIS - Congratulations

2. Saffer & Swinge - Ch Bubbapug Summer Sundae JW (Pug)

There is so much to admire about this 2-year-old fawn bitch. Liked her compact and square outline, which gives her a balanced and impressive appearance. She has a quality head with dark eyes, neat thin ears, and well-developed nostrils. Her slightly arched neck flows into a level topline to a well set on twist. She moves true both fore and aft, showing herself to great advantage.

3. Mr Holman - Adurus Golden Fleece (Min Pin)

Very smart 2-year-old red dog with an eye-catching outline when standing. He has a combination of masculine elegance and sturdy build. Having a handsome head with a keen expression from his dark eyes. His body is well developed, and he maintains a firm topline. As he moves, he displays a typical gait characterised by a hackney action.

4. Miss Holmes - Kasper Margenis At Summerjade (Imp Lit) (Pap)

This 3-year-old tri dog is dainty and alert, showing himself beautifully. He has a nicely balanced head with large, well-fringed ears and dark eyes. He maintains a firm, level topline both when standing and moving, complemented by a well-carried plumed tail. He confidently strides out.

1. Mrs Dawson - Hearthfriend High Hopes At Luphenex (Cavalier)

Charming 7-month-old Blenheim dog put on a good performance to secure the top position. He has a lovely head with a flat skull, high-set ears, and large, dark, round eyes that convey a gentle and appealing expression. His body is well-developed for his age, maintaining a firm topline to a well-set and carried tail. He moves cleanly and purposefully, and is well presented with a broken, flat, and silky coat.

2. Mrs Lees - Lafford Snap Chat (Maltese)

Impressive outline for this 10-month-old dog. He is short and cobby with a lovely head carriage, beautifully presented with a flowing, silky coat, and moving with a free-flowing action.

3. Miss Holmes - Summerjades Fire Cracker (Pap)

This 6-month-old dog, although still quite raw at this stage, he has an appealing outline. Pleasing head, large mobile ears, a firm topline, and a correctly set tail. Moving cleanly both fore and aft.

4. Mr & Mrs King - Adurus Constellation (Min Pin)

A well-shaped outline on this 8-month-old B&T bitch. She has a pleasing head with neat, high-set ears, displaying a keen and alert demeanour. Her compact body presents a square profile, and she exhibits typical movement.

AV Toy Veteran (10)

1. Mrs Saffer - Ch Ragemma Upsy Daisy JW OSW (Pug)

7 1/2-year-old fawn bitch who is unaware of her status as a veteran, showing her cheeky personality. She has a lovely, compact, and square outline, which gives her a very balanced appearance when stacked. Her feminine head has just the right amount of wrinkle, neat ears, and large, round, dark, expressive eyes. She is sturdy in body and stands foursquare. Her strong quarters enable her to drive smoothly around the ring.

2. Miss Colavecchia - Carolus Miss Elsie VW (Cavalier)

A lovely Blenheim bitch, approaching 8 years of age, still possesses the energy of a puppy! One I have judged before, and as always, she puts on an impressive performance. She has a beautiful head with large, dark eyes and well-feathered ears that frame her face. She maintains a firm topline with a good spring to her ribs and moves gracefully around the ring, her tail wagging the entire time

1. Mrs Diprose - Lastayla Perfect Purdy To Lilacrose (Pap)

This is a very self-assured and sassy 11-month-old black and white bitch. She has a lovely outline when standing, fine and dainty. Her head is very feminine, featuring a finely pointed muzzle, large, mobile ears, and a dark eye that carries a hint of mischief. She is well developed for her age, with a firm topline and a correctly carried tail, maintaining her outline beautifully while moving

2. Street & Page - Hearthfriend Highlander At Pipaddie (Cavalier)

7-month-old Blenheim dog with a pleasing outline, although he still needs to fill out his frame, which is to be expected at his age. He has a nicely balanced head shape and a kind expression. He holds a firm topline and maintains good tail carriage, both when standing and moving.

AV Toy Open (10,4)

1. Mrs Farquharson - Shanshal Man Of Steel JW (Crested)

Very showy 3-year-old powder puff dog, top end for size, but perfectly balanced with a graceful and elegant stance. He has a masculine head that is nicely chiselled, with well-placed ears and dark, almond-shaped eyes. There is good depth to his brisket, and his topline is firm. He carries himself well while moving, maintaining his outline and displaying a good tail carriage. His coat is beautifully veiled.

2. Miss Colavecchia - Carolus Camilla (Cavalier)

Charming 2-year-old well broken Blenheim bitch, who has a lovely compact build and a sweet disposition. She possesses a well-balanced head with a flat skull, high-set ears, plush muzzle, and a dark, kind eye. I liked her depth and spring of rib. She maintained a firm topline and good tail carriage while moving.

1. Phipps & Baker - Maddouse Never To Much (Flatcoated Ret)

This 16-month-old black bitch has a beautiful outline, with each part flowing seamlessly into the next. She has a feminine one-piece head and dark eyes that convey a keen and alert expression. Her neck is of good length, and she demonstrates harmonious angulation both in the front and rear. She maintains a firm topline with a well-set and carried tail. When in motion, she moves positively and true.

2. Mrs & Miss Catharell - Kinabula’s Making Magick For Faahac ( R Ridgeback)

15-month-old Wheaten dog is upstanding and well-built, showing to be a picture of strength and agility. He has a masculine head, flat skull and good length and strength to his foreface. His neck is of good length, and he has a firm topline with a well-defined ridge and crowns. His strong hindquarters provide the power to move him confidently around the ring

3. Ms Scutcher - Winsleywood Wicked (Labrador Ret)

1. Mrs Furbank - Kayzaelle Kumbuka Peace (Golden Retriever)

Quality 10-month-old pale bitch with lovely body lines. She has substance and bone while also being very feminine and graceful in appearance. Her proportions and ratios are well balanced. Possesses an appealing head and melting expression, along with a good length of neck that flows into a well-held topline and maintains a good tail carriage. Her angulation, both front and rear, is harmonious, and she is nicely developed throughout her body. She moves with free-flowing stride and is presented in excellent coat condition.

2. Mrs Diprose - Lastayla Perfect Purdy To Lilacrose (Pap)
