Special thanks to my 3 lovely Stewards, Siobhan in the Pastoral ring & Janine & Karen in the Hound ring, they kept the rings running smoothly.

0 (2/1)1. BROWN & SMITH: White Swiss Shepherd Dog. 6 month old D. Handsome head piece, of correct length and planes, he has a lovely temperament. Strong neck, leading into nice shoulder angulation, He has a strong, level topline. Broad hindquarters, with good turn of stifle, strong hocks, Balanced fore & aft. Moved well for such an immature baby, one to watch for the future, Happy to award him AVIBR PG1

LANCASHIRE HEELER

P (1/0) 1. LAWRENCE: Foveaux China Girl, 8 month-old black & tan B. Good head with a flat skull, almond eye and well set, erect ears, giving a keen, alert expression. Good length of neck and back with good depth of chest and well angulated front and rear. Tail set on high with the desired slight curve & carried proudly. She is balanced in profile and moved in a brisk manner. BPIB RBOB PG4

G (3/1) 1. WISEMAN: Foxthyme Tilly, 2yrs black & tan B, with a feminine head & kind expression. She has well placed ears set well apart, used to her advantage. Neck of good length, set well into shoulders. Nice angulation front and rear, good depth to chest and spring of rib. Hocks well let down. Moved smartly & confidently. 2. LAWRENCE: Brinscall Moors Bertie 7yrs, D. A happy, endearing, wee fella, he has a masculine head, of correct proportions, with flat skull and moderate stop. Dark eyes, with a happy expression. Ears tipped over, but showing enough lift at the base. Firm, level topline, good tail set and carriage. Moved smartly.

O (4/2) 1. HUGHES: Poolheywood Barney JW, 2yrs black and tan D. Masculine head and keen expression. He has strong, level topline and excellent tail carriage. His smart gait and purposeful movement caught my eye, he showed himself to his advantage in the ring. I was pleased to award him BOB 2. LAWRENCE: Hoscar Ellis’s Eddie, 7yrs black and tan D. Another charmer. Masculine head with flat skull and muzzle of equal length, dark almond eye and well-set erect ears of good size. Well laid shoulder, strong level topline. Well angled hindquarters, short rear pasterns. Moved in a brisk fashion, well balanced on the move.

SHETLAND SHEEPDOG – on paper a wonderful entry, I thank you all.

P (6/5) 1. GAMBLE: Balidorn Olympic Star with Solyric, sable & white, 10mth D. He has a masculine, wedge shaped head, cheeks flat. skull & muzzle of correct proportions. Ears that are set on well & along with dark almond shaped eyes, giving a sweet, appealing expression. Nice length of neck, with the desired arch and well placed shoulders, rear angulation which matches front. Tail set on low and carried well on the move. Correct double coat, enhancing the shape of his body, immaculately presented. Once settled he moved with elegance & drive. Sound in profile & whilst coming & going. Although stood alone he thoroughly deserved his placings. BOB, BPIB, Grp 4 , PG2.

P (2/0) 1. MITCHELL, MITCHELL & JORDAN: Aaronwell Another Dream for Avonfair, Tri of 10 months B. Pretty, feminine head a lovely clean wedge, stop is correct without being deep at all. Skull flat, eyes obliquely set & has the sweetest expression. Perfectly presented in a quality jacket. Nice length of back, well arched neck, onto well sloped shoulders, good angulation and rear construction. Moved soundly, covering the ground. BPIB PG 3

2. NOTLEY & BARNETT: Aaronwell After the Rainbow, litter brother to winner. S/W 10 months. He has a lovely clean head, correct stop, ear and eye placement making a sweet but masculine expression. Strong jaw. Ribs well sprung, deep chest. In good coat of correct texture, still very immature compared to his sister, but still a lovely puppy & has a happy, outgoing nature. Moved a little erratically, but once settled moved with plenty of drive.

G (3/2) 1. QUINCE: Oakley Ice Queen for Karafaye (IMP CHE) Blue Merle 2yrs, B. Very attractive in profile, feminine head of good proportions. Ears well set, and used to her advantage. Sweetest of expressions. Lovely arch to her muscular neck. Good depth to chest, straight legs & nice feet. Firm loin & strong back. Well bent stifle, tail well set on. Presented in lovely condition, moved well in all directions. BOB & Grp 3.

O (3/1) 1. MITCHELL, MITCHELL & JORDAN: Avonfair Aloysius JW S/W 2yrs, D. Masculine head, ears well set, kind expression. Good length to back, strong hindquarters. Hocks well let down. Moved a little hesitantly at first, but once settled he moved well in all directions. 2. GARSIDE: Demelewis Gang Leader S/W 5yr old D. He has a strong, masculine head, clean & balanced. His expression is kind & has a wee bit of mischief in his eye, ears well set. Strong neck, back firm & ribs well sprung. Moved with purpose & drive.

G (1/1) 1. GARSIDE & DAVIES: Starside Break Every Rule B/W B, 2yrs. Very feminine head, pronounced stop. Eyes & ears of correct shape & she has a keen, but kind expression. Strong, athletic body, strong thighs. Good turn of stifle. Well balanced. Moved smoothly & soundly.

O (3/3) 1. GARSIDE: Harbecca Noahs Gift B/W B, 7 yrs. Pretty head both in profile & from the front. She has a kind & gentle expression. Strong bone, lovely feet. Deep, broad chest. Ribs well sprung, loin strong & muscular. Balanced fore & aft. Moved with elegance, sound in all directions. BOB

2. GARSIDE & DAVIES: Starside Tina Turner B/W B. 2yrs litter sister to G winner. Again, she has a pretty feminine head. Kind inquisitive,expression. Slighter built than winner, but is balanced and in good condition. Hocks well let down, muscular hindquarters. Moved soundly, covering the ground with ease.

G (2/1) 1. HELM: Annecy’s Mischievious Max 2yrs D. Well named & full of fun. Wedge shaped head. which is masculine & balanced. Good pigment to the lips & eyes. Typical happy smiley expression. Back, broad & muscular. Very nice tail set, long, profusely coated tail. Coat of correct texture & beautifully presented. Moved with purpose & drive. BOB

O ( 2/2)1. KNIPE: Taronakits Kall Me Kaylee at Xenora ShCM 10 yr old B A credit to her owners. She has a lovely feminine head. enhanced with the darkest of eyes, neat, strong ears. She is compact in body, strong neck onto a good lay of shoulder, nice spring of rib, well angulated powerful hind quarters. Powerful mover, displaying a strong gait & soundness in all directions. She can still clearly do the job she was bred for. RBOB 2. HELM: Annecy’s Dream of Reality 5yr old B. Pretty head, dark eye. Lovely expression. Well bodied, presented in good condition & in excellent coat, lovely tail. Correct angulation, strong loin & desired flat feet. Moved well in all directions once settled.

O (2/1) JASPER: Pafaxen Rewrite the Stars 2yrs D. No mistaking his masculinity, he had a kind gentle expression. Quite an imposing dog, but kind & gentle at the same time. Good length to his back, broad & muscular, Balanced all through, strong muscular thighs, going onto strong hocks. Desired double dewclaws, nice feet. Presented in beautiful condition. Moved with grace for one so big, sound in all directions. BOB Grp 2

O (3/2) FOLKSMAN: Windgunn’s Pheonix 18 months B. A very pretty feminine head, ears well set & used to her advantage, giving a keen, alert expression. Strong neck, on to well laid shoulders. She has a firm, strong, well muscled topline leading on to an excellent croup and tailset. Her movement is sound in all directions, holding her topline at all times. She is a beautiful example & just filled my eye. Although she stood alone, I was delighted to award her BAVNSC & Grp 1

P (8/2) 1. WINKLEY-BALMER: Edenwhip Moonstruck, Parti B. 12 months, Pretty, feminine head, alert & keen expression. Elegant in profile, neck strong onto laid back shoulders, deep chest. Strong hindquarters, good turn of stifle, hocks well let down. Her movement was elegant, with an effortless action. True coming & going, balanced fore & aft. BPIB delighted to see her awarded, Puppy Grp 3. Congratulations. 2. BLAKE: Crème Anglaise’s Too Hot to Handle for Mazargo (IMP NLD) brindle B, 11 months. Another, very pretty baby. I was spoilt for choice really. She has a gentle, kind expression. Nicely sprung ribs & good length of loin. Balanced throughout, strong hindquarters which she used well on the move, sound coming and going 3. SCHOFIELD: Bowdonia No Way Jose at Runforest

G (8/2) 1. HUTCHINSON: Zenobia Just an Illusion with Sweetaurora JW, brindle D, 20 months. He has a handsome head & gentle expression, with a strong under jaw. Good return of upper arm down to a straight front. Moved straight out and back, his well muscled hindquarters allowed him to show reach and drive in profile. Sound coming & going. RBOB 2. WINKLEY-BALMER: Edenwhip See Her Sparkle, 22 months fawn & white B. Elegant, feminine head, alert expression. Shapely but unexaggerated, Clean neck and shoulders. Deep chest, with breadth over the back and thighs. Moved soundly. 3. PARKINSON: Hologem You Were Made for Me.

O (7/4) 1. WINKLEY BALMER & WINKLEY: Edenwhip Call Me at Night, fawn D. 22 months. Attractive, masculine head and expression, decent forehand with depth of chest and some fill in front. Presents a pleasing silhouette and shown in good condition. Appealed for his flowing, driving action, sound in all directions. Elegant & appealing to the eye. BOB 2. SALKELD & GRAHAM: Dalarfenn Follow A Dream, 23 months fawn& white B. She has a very attractive feminine, head. long clean neck into well laid shoulders. Excellent front & rear construction and this was evident on the move. Moved with purpose & drive. 3. PARKINSON: Groomsville Hologem Heavens Dream

P (5/2) 1. STUART: Boskenna Ice Queen 6 months tri B. Sweet, feminine head, with such a gentle expression. She has a pleasing outline with good neck and shoulder, well ribbed body, excellent topline and set on of tail. Moved straight & true, a promising puppy. 2. STUART, MISS E: Boskenna Bell of the Ball, tan & white litter sister to winner, Another beautiful head, alert, kind expression. Well set ears. Nice all thru, a balanced puppy, I just felt her sister moved better on the day. 3. STUART: Boskenna Frozen in Time.

G (5/1) 1. STUART: Boskenna Prince Charming, 6 months tri D. Another cracking pup from the same litter as earlier class. No mistaking this masculine head, but not coarse or overdone. Well off for bone, long in the rib & short, strong loin, excellent topline & set on of stern, carried himself with a free stride in profile, covering the ground well. Good hindquarters, that propelled him with ease & drive. He had a lovely, mature, temperament for such a young puppy. BOB BPIB a very promising youngster. 2. GOLDBERG: Molesend Hazelnut at Fairleedale, 16 months T/W B. Pleasing feminine head and expression, good reach of neck, round bone, good depth of chest, hindquarters well angulated, she moved well, but I felt the winner had the edge. 3. STUART: Boskenna’s Wicked Witch. 4. STUART: Boskenna’s Aurora’s Wish.

O (5/1) 1. BUTTERS & THEOBALD: Molesend Ibis of Breskar, T/W B. 14 months. Lovely head with a super expression. Straight front with enough fore chest. Good length of neck going onto correct shoulder placement, she has a lovely, level top line. She moved soundly, long-reaching in front & driving from behind. RBOB 2. GOLDBERG: Molesend Hazelnut at Fairleedale 3. STUART: Kellitcreed Danger Digits with Boskenna. 4. STUART: Kellitcreed Frozen Assets.

RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK:

P (2/2) 1. HALL: Msingi Fancy That at Cyami, 11 months B. Attractive, balanced head. Kind & dignified expression. Mature in body, well defined ridge, well off for bone, strong loin. Moved soundly in all directions. BOB, BPIB. Puppy Grp 2 2. SPRATLING: Diamondridge Dragonstone, 8 months D, Handsome head, of fair length. strong, powerful jaw, Deep chest, strong back. Hocks strong & well let down. A little ungainly on the move to start with, full of exuberance and nonsense, but once settled he moved better. Just a typical “boy” & a lovely character. RBOB
