PUPPY (0,0)

POST GRADUATE (4,3)

1st – Forge’s Normpug Tiger Eyes

6.5yr old B/T Bitch who was very happy to be out. Nicely shaped, feminine head with ears set to cheek correctly. Lovely expression. To be picky I would like to see some more ground clearance on her to be spot on however her movement away, back and in profile was active and straight and she had correct hind angulation. RBOB.

LIMIT (1,1)

OPEN (3,1)

1st – Rose’s Pennydach Mystique at Rosencrantz

7yr old B/T bitch who belied her years with her athletic movement. Correct head leading into well arched neck. Good depth of chest with correctly prominent breastbone with forearm inclining inwards around the chest as it should. Not overly long which mean that her rib coverage extended back correctly whilst keeping the loins a little shorter to give more strength over her back, allowing her to hold her topline. Movement straight and true. I would in an ideal world like to see a little bit more ground clearance but on the whole, a lovely balanced bitch who went BOB and I see she later went HG1 and also won the AV Hound Veteran.

2nd – Forge’s Normpug Roman Holiday JW

2.5yr old B&T dog. A lovely boy overall. He had a well-shaped head with correct ear set leading into a good length of neck. Prominent breastbone into well set back shoulders and closely held elbows. Good topline though longer than 1 and in this case, I just felt the balance wasn’t quite as spot on with the length ratio meaning his movement just was edged out on this occasion as he was moving a bit close behind going away.
