Many thanks to the committee for asking me to judge at their show. I had a really enjoyable day and I would like to thank all the exhibitors for bringing me a great selection of exhibits and giving me some difficult decisions. There were a range of different types and some very short tails creeping in.

MPD(3,0) – 1 Miles’ MILESEND HAWK MOTH. 6mth s/w dog. Beautiful shape to this young man at his first show. Very eye catching. Nice fill of muzzle and correct bite. Correct eye placement and colour. Ears could be a touch tighter. Straight front and neat feet. Ribs developing well for age. Strong neck in to level topline. Glorious long tail. Good mover when he got it together. 2 Hateley’s MOHNESEE MOONLIGHT MASTER. 8mth tri d. Quality head with level planes, neat small ears, correctly placed dark eyes. Smooth cheeks and correct bite. Good coat texture and colour. Straight front, good depth of chest and neat feet. Nice arched neck and firm topline. Good bend of stifle, correct tail carriage and good mover. Preferred overall shape of 1. 3 Yardley & Davies’ DIPPERSMOOR STARSHINE. 7mth s/w d. Nice shape. Good neck and shoulder placement. Good bend of stifle. Sweet expression and well set ears although on the larger side.

PD(5,2) – 1 Sorockyj’s SHELTISHA THE ONE AND ONLY. 9mth b/m d. Good head, parallel planes, correct scissor bite, prefer more fill to muzzle, correct stop and good eye placement. Correct ear carriage and tipping. Straight front and deep chest. Pleasing outline with good angulations front and rear. Correct length of neck, level topline and good carriage of long tail. Clear blue colour and harsh coat. Good bend of stifle and confident easy mover. Showing himself off at all times. BPD/BPIS. 2 Hateley’s MOHNESEE MOONLIGHT MASTER. As MPD. 3 Walker’s STORMIN NORM BY TOORALIE. 9mth s/w d. Dark sable of correct coat texture. Nice puppy. Shorter in head. Nice eye and expression and correct earset. Good length of neck, nice angulations, Prefer more length to tail. Needs to settle on the move.

JD(3,0) – 1 Sorockyj’s SHELTISHA THE ONE AND ONLY. As PD. 2 Gamble’s BALIDOM OLYMPIC STAR WITH SOLYRIC. 14mth s/w d. Nice head, correct bite, nice dark eye and neat ears which he could use more. Stands straight at front, nice outline. Moderate neck in to good lay of shoulder. Correct bend of stifle and length to tail. Good angulations which showed in front and rear movement. 3 Bird & Caden’s MOVING ON UP TO MOLSON. 15mth s/w d. Correct bite, neat small ears, larger eye, prefer more fill of foreface. Correct neck and shoulder placement. Stood wide at front. Longer in back. Correct feet. Good angulations and tail set.

YD(1,0) – 1 Gamble’s BALIDOM OLYMPIC STAR WITH SOLYRIC. As JD.

MD(3,0) – 1 Hateley’s MOHNESEE MOONLIGHT MASTER. As MPD. 2 Miles’ MILESEND TRI STAR. 6mth tri d. Good black and tan markings. Nice head, well tipped and placed ears, prefer more underjaw, well placed dark eyes. Firm neck in to good shoulder placement. Good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Preferred movement of 1. 3 Yardley & Davies’ DIPPERSMOOR STARSHINE. As MPD.

ND(1,0) – 1 Yardley & Davies’ DIPPERSMOOR STARSHINE. As MPD.

GD(3,0) – 1 Varnom’s MILESEND BLACK TARTAN. 4yr tri d. Well put together. Harsh black coat. Nice head, masculine expression, neat ears but could be a bit tighter. Good underjaw. Correct length to height ratio. Good bend of stifle, long tail and nice tracking on the move. Alert to handler at all times. 2 Gamble’s BALIDOM OLYMPIC STAR WITH SOLYRIC. As JD. 3 Arkley’s AMETHRICKEH PERFECT SPIRIT. 2.5yr d. Correct eye placement, neat ears but a touch wide set, Good length to height ratio but would like more of him. Stood wide at the front and also a bit wide on rear movement. Would like longer tail.

PGD(3,0) – 1 Fenton’s SHANNMIE’S DARK ARCHES. 2yr s/w d. Nice head, dark well set eyes, good fill of muzzle, neat ears but could be tighter. Liked his expression. Strong neck and good depth of chest. Neat feet. Good mover with good front reach and rear drive. 2 Berry & Clegram’s SMIDDYSHAW HERE I GO AGAIN. 2yr s/w d. Nice head, well filled foreface and good underjaw. Correct eye placement and well set ears but a little heavy to be critical. Neat feet, straight front and good depth of chest. Good lay of shoulder. Moved well with good forward reach. 3 Gamble’s BALIDOM OLYMPIC STAR WITH SOLYRIC. As JD.

LD(5,2) – 1 Winfield’s OAKCROFT THE MANDALORIAN JW. 2.5yr s/w d. Nicely balanced young man, no mistaking he’s a boy. Soft but masculine expression. Dark, well shaped eyes and well set small ears. Well filled muzzle, maybe a touch more underjaw. Strong arched neck and excellent lay of shoulder. Good bone and straight front. Good ribbing for age and correct length to height. Overall nice type and good angulations front and rear with correct bend of stifle. Correct tail set and good length. Sound mover with an easy action. Showed non-stop for his handler. A difficult decision between him and the bitch for BIS but he just melted me on the day. BD/BIS. 2 Fenton’s SHANNMIE’S CARTIER. 2.5yr tri d. Jet black tricolour. Well placed, dark eyes. Small neat ears. Would prefer more fill to foreface. Strong neck and lay of shoulder. Straight front and good depth of forechest. Well sprung ribs. Longer in back. Nice bend of stifle. Well presented. 3 Parker’s EDGLONIAN PRIME TARGET WITH TOLAROCK. 2.5yr s/w d. Strong in head. Wedge shaped with well set, neat ears. Correct almond shaped eyes. Muscular, well arched neck and lay of shoulder. Strong rear drive but moving wide at the front. Enjoying his day. Well presented.

OD(4,1) – 1 Sorockyj’s PADAWAN MANDALORIAN. 5yr s/w d. Best head in the class for me. Balanced head, good muzzle and underjaw, neat ears but could be tighter, well shaped eyes giving masculine expression. Neat oval feet and good depth of forechest. Good length to height. Nice length of back and rise over loin. Good bend of stifle and neat hocks. Good angulations throughout. Best mover in class, smooth and effortless. Pushed hard for BD but had to settle for RBD. 2 Johnson & Walker’s CH/INT/FR/LUX/SWISS CH TOORALIE PIE IN THE SKY. 6yr s/w d. This dark shaded sable has a balanced body shape. Nice masculine head with dark, well placed eyes neat ears and good underjaw. Straight front. Good length to neck and well laid shoulder. Deep chest and level topline. Nice rise over loin and well let down hocks. Moved soundly and well presented. 3 Miles’ LUNDECOCK’S THEODOR (imp SWE). 5yr s/w d. Shorter head type. Good muzzle and underjaw, deep in stop, nice dark eyes and neat ears. Attentive to handler. Good confirmation. Nice length of body and well angulated stifles and let down hocks. Moved well from all angles.

VD(5,2) – 1 Hull’s MOHNESEE’S DREAM DATE OF LIZMARK JW. 7.5yr s/w d. Golden sable boy with lovely head and soft expression. Correct eye placement and sparkling dark eyes. Good underjaw and fill of muzzle, neat ears but would prefer a tighter set. Correct length to height, good reach of neck leading to level topline, tight padded feet and straight hocks. Moved well. BVD. 2 Varnom’s MILESEND BLUE JEANS. 7yr b/m d. Good colour blue. Good bone and correct angulations front and rear. Head is wedge shape with flat cheeks and well filled foreface. Could have more underjaw. Ears tight set but would prefer a bit smaller. Correctly placed eyes. Straight front and correct lay of shoulder. Strong rear drive but appears to be turning toe in front right. 3 Bird & Caden’s MOLSON MR BLUE SKY JW. 8.5yr b/m d. Wedge shaped head with soft expression. Good underjaw. Well placed eyes and ears but would prefer better tipping. Good bone and depth of chest. Prefer more length to back. Good mover.

SOSWD(6,1) – 1 Sorockyj’s PADAWAN MANDALORIAN. As OD. 2 Miles’ RIBANS GOLDSTAR OF MILESEND (JKC). 3yr s/w d. Smaller package all over but a nice shape and outline. Shorter head type. Neat ears and nice expression, if a little fuller in eye. Arched neck merging in to correct shoulders and straight front with good bone. Correct length of back and good bend of stifle. Well let down hocks and good rear drive. Seemed to be bobbing on the move. 3 Fenton’s SHANNMIE’S DARK ARCHES. As PGD.

SOTD(2,0) – 1 Fenton’s SHANNMIE’S CARTIER. As LD. 2 Linford’s HILLHENRY IN YOUR HONOUR. 3yr s/w d. Good bone and elegant outline. Stood wide in front but this didn’t affect his movement. Nice head planes, lovely dark eye and neat ears albeit a touch wide. Round muzzle and good underjaw. Great length of neck into well laid shoulders. Good spring of ribs, level topline and correct tail set and length. Neat feet well let down hocks and strong rear action. Jet black coat with rich tan markings. Preferred the movement of 1.

SOBMD(3,0) – 1 Sorockyj’s SHELTISHA THE ONE AND ONLY. As PD. 2 Forster-Parish’s LOWICK BLUEBERRY. 4yr b/m d. Great blue colour and well marked coat. Masculine head with well tipped ears but deeper in stop than I prefer. Good angulations front and rear, prefer longer back. Attentive to handler. Good bend stifle and correct easy movement. 3 Bird & Caden’s MOLSON MR BLUE SKY JW. As VD.

MPB(5,0) – 1 Miles’ MILESEND RICH BLEND. 6mth s/w b. Lovely baby. Showed non-stop for her handler. Lovely feminine head, dark, well placed eyes, neat well carried ears and good moulding of foreface. Super shape, well off for bone, well arched neck in to correct shoulder placement. Correct set of tail and good bend of stifle. Confident mover. BPB. 2 Gould’s SHAZBEC DOLLY DAYDREAM. 8mth b. Nice shape. Correct dentition and good underjaw. Neat ears and well set, dark eyes. Well let down hocks. Good mover but preferred movement of 1. 3 Herring’s MILESEND AVA PERON.6mth b. Good shape and well off for bone. Good underjaw. Prefer tighter ear set and slightly fuller in eye. A bit fond of her tail.

PB(4,3) – 1 Hull’s LIZMARK FORGET ME NOT.11mth b/m b. Feminine, petite girl. Good colour blue but quite a lot of black. Neat ears, dark, well set eyes, prefer more fill of muzzle. Good length of neck, good front and rear angulations. Good tail set and bend of stifle. Sound mover.

JB(5,2) – 1 Bray’s LIANBRAY LUCY LOCKET. 15mth s/w b. Feminine young lady with expressive eyes and neat ears. Would like a bit more fill of foreface but good head overall. Good length to height ration giving her a lovely shape. Good length of neck. Correct bend of stifle which shows in her strong movement. 2 Winfield’s OAKCROFT AMAZING STAR. 12mth s/w b. Finer in head than 1. Well set ears but flying a touch. Dark well set eye giving sweet expression. Lovely feminine shape. Good depth of forechest. Good bend of stifle but let down by the high stepping front action. 3 Bywater’s GEMSHELLS BLUE DIAMOND WITH TACHNAMADRA. 17mth b/m b. Lovely colour blue. Good underjaw. Neat ears which could be tighter set. Good bend of stifle and strong rear movement. Standing wide at the front.

YB(2,0) – 1 Bray’s LIANBRAY LUCY LOCKET. As JB. 2 Miles’ MILESEND BLACK RIBBON. 23mth tri b. Feminine expression. Well set and tipped ears, dark expressive eyes and good underjaw. Alert to handler. Straight front with good spring of rib. Long, elegant neck. Well balanced overall and low set hocks giving good movement.

MB(2,0) – 1 Hull’s LIZMARK FORGET ME NOT. As PB. 2 Tunnicliffe’s DIPPERSMOOR RISING STAR. 7mth b. Feminine head and expression, prefer more underjaw and fill of foreface. Well set ears and good length to neck. Level topline, correct tail set, covered the ground easily on the move.

GB(5,2) – 1 Clegram’s SMIDDYSHAW ALL THE GLITZ. 2yr tri b. Finer through. Lovely dark eye. Well used neat ears. Prefer straighter front. Good neck and shoulder. Ok length to back. Well constructed showing in strong rear movement. 2 Bray’s LIANBRAY LUCY LOCKET. As JB. Preferred movement of 1. 3 Goodwin’s ROWANCREST LEGALLY BLONDE. 23mth s/w b. Nice, feminine shape but a touch overweight. Correct ear set and dark eyes and fill of foreface. Showed well. Strong neck and level topline. Correctly carried tail.

PGB(2,1) – 1 Hateley’s MOHNESEE’S MELIYA JW. 2yr b. Well balanced head with dark eyes and neat well set ears, good underjaw. Straight front with good lay of shoulder, strong neck and neat oval feet. Good coat of correct texture, jet black with rich tan. Super shape with good conformation. Strong rear drive and good front reach.

LB(5,2) – 1 Rowan’s ROWANCREST CINDERELLA. 23mth s/w b. Nice head and expression, dark eye, would have preferred tighter ear set. Good head planes and well filled foreface. Feminine shape with good length of neck and correct shoulder placement. Good spring of rib and level topline. Correct tail set and length. Free flowing movement both out and back. 2 Sorockyj’s SHAZBEC MAID OF HONOUR AT SHELTISHA JW. 2yr b. Lovely feminine girl. Great colour blue. Attractive head and expression. Correct bite and underjaw, felt ears were heavy, although well set. Well set almond shaped eyes. Enough neck in to level topline. Firm hind quarters with well let down hocks. Good angulations and movement, just preferred movement of 1 today. 3 Fenton’s SHANNMIE’S CANARY BLUE. 4yr b/m b. Darker colour to coat. Dark, well set eyes. Neat ears but a little wide set. Well proportioned body with well sprung ribs and good depth of chest, although standing out at elbows. Sound mover.

OB(3,1) – 1 Sorockyj’s CH SHELTISHA ROYAL APPROVAL. 3yr b/m b. Appealing size and outline. Very feminine. Good wedge head with inquisitive expression and well placed eyes. Nice fill to foreface and good underjaw. Well placed and constantly used ears. Good front and neat feet. Well arched neck in to strong topline, well carried tail and muscled thighs. Correct bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Good conformation and flowing movement with reach and drive. Lovely clear blue but to be picky I would prefer less black. BB/BOSIS. 2 Saunders’ TACHNAMADRA BUTTON MOON AT FERNFREY. 4yr tri b. Lovely black coat with rich tan markings. Dark well placed eyes, well used ears but a touch heavier tipped than I prefer. Very attentive to handler. Strong neck in to well laid shoulders and firm topline. Lovely shape with good angulations. Correct bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Good rear drive, moving a bit wide at the front.

VB(4,2) – 1 Welford’s RISTINE EMERALD. 7yr tri b. Quality bitch in good coat of correct jet black and tan. Wedge shaped head, good fill of foreface, dark expressive eyes giving feminine expression, well set neat ears. Nice overall shape, well balanced. Good length of neck in to well laid shoulders and level topline. Straight front with good spring of rib. Short straight hocks giving good rear drive. BVB/BVIS. 2 Clegram & Berry’s CH SMIDDYSHAW I’LL BE THERE FOR U JW VW. 10yr s/w b. Lovely feminine shape. Well balanced wedge head with flat skull. Dark, almond shaped eyes and well placed ears, going a bit light. Muscular neck leading to correct shoulder placement. Level topline and correctly set, long tail. Good angulations front and fear. Good forward reach and rear drive. Preferred front and movement of 1.

Smooth cheeks and well filled foreface. Well arched neck in to well laid shoulders and good depth to chest. Correctly set tail of good length. Good angulations front and rear. Best mover in class. RBB. 2 Rosslyn’s BALIDORN GOLDEN AMBER SHCEX. 6yr s/w b. Smaller, feminine bitch. Head of good proportions with small well set ears and good fill of foreface. Attentive to handler. Good length of neck, straight front. Good rear angulations. Better shoulder than 3. 3 Sorockyj & Haine’s MOHNESEE SHARE THE DREAM WITH PADAWAN JW. 6 yr b. Well proportioned bitch. Well set and used ears, longer in foreface, attentive to handler. Good front and ear angulations. Good rear drive.

SOSWB(1,0) – 1 Hateley’s MOHNESEE MAEBELLE JW. 3.5yr s/w b. Well proportioned head with dark eye and small, tight ears giving a sweet expression. Would like a bit more moulding to muzzle. Good depth of chest and spring of rib. Good height to length ratio. Good angulations front and rear which showed in movement. Seemed a bit unnerved today.
