Puppy (3,1)

1st Pilatov’s Sabsky Spilberk a very promising young b, already has the all the essentials just needs the body which comes with maturity. She is powerful yet still retains her feminity, lovely ground covering movement finished with a balanced head. BP

2nd Hostler’s Theondale High Hopes very close up to first; a more mature dog than the winner has great depth of chest and well sprung ribs, good compact feet another Pup who moved really well.

Junior (5,0)

1st Raynor & Maskell’s Enjagar Elegance for Brownbank not long out of puppy, this bitch was one of the babies of the class however she gave nothing away has a lovely length of neck springing cleanly from a properly constructed front; with her correct height to length balance she exhibited great ground covering movement which defies her age. Definitely one to watch in the future.

2nd Hostler’s Theondale High Hopes

3rd Lustamusk Star Ship Trooper

Post Graduate (6,1)

1st Pilotova’s Sabsky Sasanka a mature bitch with length of body, well sprung rib & clean neck. When she settled on the move held her topline and covered the ground. She has a balanced head and good length to her ears.

2nd Brierley Tatze Lunacy another very balanced bitch who really moved well. Felt she just needed some extra body to complete the picture today.

1st Maskell, Raynor & Maskell’s Brownbank Willow with Raystans JW my star of the day from the tip of her nose to her tail she is totally balanced. She has a great length of neck and a perfectly proportioned head. Good depth and excellent length of body. She was shown in top condition – gleaming coat and well-muscled. She effortlessly powered round the ring on the move. BOB & I was delighted to see her take Group 1

2nd Brown & Filby’s Desjiem Billy Don’t Be A Hero JW so unfortunate to meet the first. A lovely mature, masculine dog who is beautifully balanced great depth and length of body. Perfectly proportioned head and correct high set ears. I would like a more compact foot. Another shown in lovely condition. Just lost out to the first on her effortless movement.

3rd Pilatova’s Sabsky Svratka

Spaniel (Cocker)

Puppy (1,0)

1st Walton’s Chataway Lets Jive my notes say – what a little cracker. Solid black – shown in the most fantastic jacket for a puppy. Lovely length of neck springing from his sloping shoulders. Strong compact body with depth. On the move he drove round the ring maintaining his topline and his tail never stopped wagging BP & BOB

1st Terry’s Shaggylands Don’t Look back a very pleasing compact dog who really drove on the move and kept his topline. Good bone with well let down hocks. I liked his masculine head with square muzzle which was in no way course

2nd Walton’s Annaside Lets Dance solid black who I see is the father of the Puppy winner. Has lovely ground covering movement with typical wagging tail. Not as compact as the winner. Shown in lovely coat and condition.

1st Mowbray’s Crumbledor Rita Skeetar a really true mover who was extremely happy to be in the ring and the centre of attention. She has all the essentials but just needs to body up. She has a lovely rich liver coat & very pleasing head with wide skull and low ears.

Open (2,0)

1st Mowbray’s SH CH Gainsmill Lilly Luna Potter at Crumbledor ShCEx a totally finished bitch who is unexaggerated in any way and one I could see easily doing a full days work. She just took a little time to settle on the move, but when she did it was true with that characteristic roll. Shown in excellent coat. She is deep and strong in body a very pleasing picture. BOB

2nd McAndrews & Hague’s Prytaneion Lakhesis a strongly built dog with depth of body. Strong arched neck which carried his head at the correct height. On the move he was positive and true with that lovely roll, not the head and eye of the winner.
