Thank you to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to Judge at their Show. I had some good examples of the breed’s I judged and although the ring’s were on the small size I was pleased to see some of the dog's I put through did very well in the group.

Whippet

Puppy 3/1ab

1st Smith & Goddard-Smith Miss F & Miss C, Starceylon Tosca For Neviwesh. 7month old bitch of good quality, very feminine lovely curves. Good head nice dark eye and good ear set, correct scissor bite. Nice length of neck going into well laid shoulders, good straight front and nice feet with good spring of pasterns. Good chest for age and a nice topline with a slight rise, good hindquarters second thigh needs to develop but that will come, hocks well let down. Moved well on the up and back, a promising young bitch. BPIB

2nd Davidson Mrs C & Mr T, Mr Nibbles of The Mistal. 10month old dog, a little on the small side and fined boned. Ok head good dark eye correct bite. Nice length of neck, ok topline and hindquarters. Would like more condition, moved well.

Junior 5/0ab

1st Wood Mrs N J, Edenwhip Harvest Moon. 16month old fawn of good quality beautiful feminine bitch, good head with a pleasing dark oval eye. Good strong jaw with correct bite, nice long arched neck going into well laid shoulders. Good front with good feet and pasterns, good chest and well ribbed good topline and a strong loin. Good hindquarters with good angulation hocks well let down. Loved her curves, moved well shame there wasn’t a RBOB went close for BOB.

2nd Hope Mrs S R, Flerrow Rydings Romances. 15month old dog, good head and a nice dark eye good strong jaw with correct bite. Good length of neck going into good shoulders and a good return of upper arm, good straight front and nice feet. Good depth of chest and well sprung ribs, nice topline with a nice rise over the loins. Hindquarters well muscled and a good second thigh with well let down hocks. Movement was ok just a little close behind.

Post Graduate 5/1ab

1st Head Mrs M, Nevedith Gold Glow Of Demerlay. 3 year old bitch nice size, good head nice dark eye and good ear set. Good strong jaw with correct bite, nice long arched neck going into clean well laid shoulders. Good front with plenty of bone nice feet with good pasterns, good chest and well ribbed good topline with a slight rise over the loin. Hindquarters well muscled and a good developed second thigh. Good front and rear angulation, hocks well let down moved well on the up and back.

2nd Kerr Miss R, Udalie Du Menuel Galopin (IMP FRA). 2 year old brindle bitch, good head and expression, with a good strong jaw. Well developed in the body, with a good depth of chest would like more return of upper arm. She has a lovely curvy outline which flows. Nice topline and well muscled hindquarters, in lovely condition and very well muscled, moves soundly.

1st Gordon Mrs B A, Batnoir Lady Victoria. 4-year-old bitch a more moderate type of Whippet, nice head with good eyes, ears and jaw. Good arched neck going into ok shoulders, nice front with enough fill of chest, Nice topline strong loins with gentle curve good turn of stifle, low hocks, moved well.

1st Head Mrs Demerlay Ebony Eyes. 3 year old brindle and white trim bitch of good size, good head pleasing dark eye and good strong jaw. Good length of neck, with a good lay of shoulder and correct return of upper arm. Nice front with good knuckled feet, good depth of chest with a curvy underline and a nice topline with a strong loin. Hindquarters broad and well muscled with good developed second thigh, moderate rear angulation. Hocks well let down, moved true on the up and back. BOB

2nd Ellam Mrs G A, Demerlay Angel Eyes For Clionys. Litter Sister to 1st another lovely bitch with much of the same attributes. Lovely head and a pleasing eye, good strong jaw and correct bite. Nice long arch neck going into well laid shoulders. Good front with good bone and nice feet, chest deep and plenty of rib with a good topline and a strong hindquarters good rear angulation with well developed second thigh and hocks well let down. Just preferred movement of 1st.

1st Nolan Mrs H, Priorpark Pucker Up For Rumialana. 3 year old bitch red wheaten feminine well balance, good head and eye color complimented the coat. Clean front and correct feet. Good length of neck going into well laid shoulders giving correct return of upper arm. Well ribbed body. Good topline and broad muscled hindquarters, good turn of stifle moved well.

2nd Phillips Mrs Z & Mr C, Shakina Cotton Candy. 7month old bitch of good size and proportion. Good head just needs to develop but that will come, good colour and shaped eye and a strong jaw. Good length of neck going into clean well laid shoulders. Nice front with good feet, nice fill in chest for age enough rib and a good topline and hindquarters. Moved well a promising young puppy BPIB.

1st Nolan Mrs H, Priorpark Pearl Of Wisdom For Rumialana JW. 2 year old bitch of good quality, nice size and well balanced. Very feminine with a good head and eye, correct ear set and a nice strong jaw. Good length of neck, nice front with good bone and correct front angulation. Nice depth of brisket and well ribbed. Good topline with a slight rise over the loin hindquarters well muscled nice turn of stifle and hocks well let down. Giving a balanced outline. Moved free on the up and back BOB.

2nd Barker Mrs K L, CH Delianza Whats Your Motive JW. 2 ½ year old dog of moderate proportions. Good head and correct round eye, nice strong jaw with correct bite. Muscled neck with good strength going into well laid shoulders. Good return of upper arm and well filled front, good straight front with nice compact feet. Deep chest and plenty of rib Gentle rise to a strong loin into hindquarters that are well muscled and angulated. I feel he could have been a bit more active in his movement, could of been due to the size of the ring.

1st Arden Mrs S, Madika Shine On JW. 10month old bitch, nicely marked bitch of good type, size and balance. Good head slightly domed nice dark eye, good low set ears, good strong jaw Stands on good legs, rounded bone. Elbows laid close to the rib with good feet. Well ribbed, short coupled body, good topline and Well angulated hindquarters, and uses herself well on the move. BOB & BPIB

2nd Bridgeman & Logue Ms D & Mr H, Kingswin Gifted. 7month old bitch, nice size good head with a slight dome and a well defined stop. Good dark eye with good low set ears. Jaw strong, long arched neck going into well laid shoulders, nice front with good bone and nice tight feet. Chest ok still needs to drop, nice topline and hindquarters with good tail set. Hocks well let down, moved well just did have the drive as 1st

1st Arden Mrs S, Annavah Star Above Madika AW(S). 5 year old bitch stands on good leg, a little longer in frame but still nicely balanced. Good head with low set ears and a nice dark eye, good strong jaw with correct bite. Nice length of neck going into well laid shoulders, good front with nice tight feet. Good deep chest and well sprung ribs, level topline. Hindquarters well muscled and a good tail set, nice firm hocks. Moved well.

Afghan Hound

1st Hudson Mrs N, Sitana Miss Marvel. 1 year old gold bitch good head proportions, nice low set ears. Correct bite good length of neck going into well laid sloping shoulder, moderate front angulation with good feet good depth of chest, level topline nice prominent hip bone. Moved well despite the size of the ring.

2nd Smith Mrs J & Mr C S, Sitana Soul Fire. Litter mate to 1st, a little bit exited today and was very happy to be gone over. But he did have a good head, correct low set ears and a nice dark eye. Good length of neck shoulders well laid back, nice level topline. Hocks well let down, movement was a bit erratic.

1st Mcpherson & Paterson Mr S A & Mr P C, Brumberhill Beryl. 1 year old bitch, good head with the conical appearance from above. Nice dark almond eye and good ridge over the eyes, strong jaw correct bite, good length of neck into well laid shoulder, prominent breastbone, balanced front and rear angulation sufficient ground clearance. Good broad muscled hindquarters, good harsh coat, moved true and sound on the up and back. In great working condition. BOB and delighted to see her win the Hound Group.

1st Stephenson Miss J, Wistex Perfect Storm. 10month old dog, well-balanced, good head and a good dark eye. Nice strong jaw with correct bite, good length of neck, Pleasing outline. Good front, still need to drop in chest. Nice topline with a short loin Good turn of stifle and hind angulation. Presented in good coat, moved well with good drive coming from the rear, BOB.

1st Stephenson Miss J, Wistex Taking It Easy. Balanced head, good eye and correct ear set Produces a typical outline when standing. Nice prominent sternum and ribs well back, would prefer a shorter in loin which make her look longer in body. Correctly angulated hindquarters. Correct textured coat.

1st Mason Miss A, Teckeltowns Power Of Love. Bitch of 6 months old, smart and well proportioned naturally your eye is drawn in to her qualities, well balanced, good head correct conical shape, strong jaws, dark almond shape eyes, ears set high with correct shape, nice feet, well off for bone, neck slightly arched, well placed shoulders with excellent return of upper arm, strong and prominent breastbone, well ribbed for age strong hindquarters, excellent tail set, moved with real drive & reach, excellent coat & condition, moved free with great rear drive. BPIB, HPG1. Delighted to see her take BPIS. Will watch her progress with interest.

1st Mason Miss A, Teckeltown The Show Girl. 2 ½ year old bitch of good quality beautiful feminine head with the correct ear set and a nice dark eye. Good strong jaw, good length of neck going into clean sloping shoulders and a good developed pro sternum. Nice front with good broad feet, good underline giving plenty of ground clearance nice topline with a short loin. Hindquarters good and well muscled. Movement was flowing with great rear drive. BOB

2nd Mason Miss A, Marvale Crimson Sunbird At Teckeltown. 2 year old bitch beautiful head and dark almond eye, correct scissor bite, high set ears, good length of neck going into well laid shoulder, prominent breastbone, ribs extend well back, deep chest, correctly placed forelegs, level topline, Hindquarters broad and well muscled, straight and parallel hind legs, lovely outline, free movement with long stride and drive coming from the rear.
