Thank you to the committee for my invitation to judge my 3rd breed show, I thoroughly enjoyed my day. Thanks to both stewards who kept the ring running so smoothly. The biggest thanks go to all the exhibitors for bringing your lovely dogs under me and accepting my decisions so sportingly. It was a hot day and I felt the heat affected a few dogs on the move 

Special Parti Puppy 

1st Masters & Dott Manchela Soul Sister, B/R striking puppy bitch who has the most beautiful head with melting expression, everything fits together so correctly, one of the best fronts of the day. Super depth of brisket. Well sprung ribs, great bone and substance, short loin round quarters and excellent rear angulation which enabled her to power around the ring with great drive, beautifully presented, loved her BIS & BPIS

2nd Brothwell Annilann Da Business at Wissant the baby of the class and still sporting his puppy coat but underneath this he posses a masculine head, dark eyes giving him that melting cocker expression, ample neck into well placed shoulders, good depth for age, well angulated quarters allowing him to move out well

3rd Craig Riondel Amadeus at Alisma 

Special Parti Graduate 

1st Dolan Snowgate Shine on (JW) pleasing B/R with masculine head, kind expression, nice lay of shoulders, well sprung ribs, short in loin, plenty of bone, nicely angulated rear with an exceptionally well muscled backend which he used to his advantage on the move

2nd Salmon Crimicar Blu Diamond ultra feminine B/R shown in excellent coat and condition, nice head with kind expression, although I’d like slightly more muzzle, she has excellent balance, firm topline, good angles at front and rear, moved out soundly

3rd Davies Manchela Little Mermaid of Annaside (JW)

1st Whitehead Ryallcourt Twist Tan Shout (JW) quality medium size B/W/T male, masculine head, with kind expression, clean neck into well laid shoulders, well boned legs, good width in front, would prefer smaller feet, big ribs, short loin, short below the hock, moved very well once he settled

2nd Bowen Glowhill Annika of Lararth well presented B/R with a feminine head, moderate length of neck into well placed shoulders, pleasing front assembly with good width throughout. well sprung ribs. Short coupled, maintained a level topline both stacked and on the move, good bend of stifle, just moving slightly close today

1st Pop Merrysoul Everybody’s Talking at Bocablue, lovely golden boy, who has a very well presented coat, masculine head with kind expression, clean neck, good front and rear angulation, straight well boned legs, lovely feet, good depth of chest, well sprung ribs, moved well, I will watch his career with interest

2nd Davies Sharemead Legacy for Kerriglow black dog who lacked maturity compared to 1st but he posses a masculine head, clean neck into well laid shoulders, well boned legs, enough spring of ribs, nicely angulated back end, moved well

1st Shapland Deracor Diamond Glow Well-made Cockery black with a beautiful head and expression, strong bone, good width in front, well-sprung ribs, well-muscled quarters, in good coat and condition, moved merrily around the ring 

2nd Ward Whinburn Walk the Moon to Wensum black dog who needs to be handled to be appreciated, he has a masculine head with the kindest expression, correct front assembly, small catlike feet,nice layback of shoulder, short loin, well angulated backend, moved well but would like a little more animation 

3rd Pop Merrysoul Donatella Versace with Bocablue

1st Fortin Unboxing Hermes of Never Say Goodbye a new one to me but caught my eye when she entered the ring, smart medium sized red, well balanced head with sweet expression, well angulated front and rear, big ribs, with good width to front, moved with drive around the ring keeping her topline

2nd McBride Topday Nothern dancer 6 month B/R at his first show, so giving alot away in maturity but everything is in the right place, he already has a masculine head, straight front, big ribs, he is short and compact, with nicely angulated backend, with well set tail, well present puppy coat, moved with exuberance

2nd Roberts Glantraeth Seren Libanus with Sunabil blue roan dog with a pleasing outline, pleasing head, with expressive eye. He has a good reach of neck leading into a well laid shoulder, Well ribbed, strong well made rear with good width and muscle, which he uses to advantage on the move.

Novice 

1st Eisen Crankwoods Star Attraction Black bitch with feminine head, dark expressive eyes, arched neck and well made front assembly. Straight front and deep chest, level topline and good quarters. Moved steadily and covered the ground well.

2nd Craig Riondel Amadeus at Alisma he has a well balanced head it just needs to break, this will come with age, balanced, square and cobby with enough angulation, Correct bone and substance ,well up on the leg, and neat tight feet. moved well

1st Pearce-Gudger Pearkim Pietro B/R male who made his handler work today, masculine head, strong bone, nice straight front, compact well-ribbed body, well muscled quarters, sound on the move, well presented 

2nd Tomerine Fact or Fable looked well stacked and presented a very balanced picture, good head, strong neck into well laid shoulders, muscular quarters, pity he didn’t get his tail up

Open Dog 

1st Dewhurst Glowhill Silver Arrow at Lapidary maturity has been this boys friend, I have never seen him looking better, he posses a masculine head with the softest of expressions, well defined stop, well laid shoulder with a good return of upper arm, good depth, big ribs, short loin, well angulated rear which he used to drive round the ring, I liked him a lot, just missed out by a whisker for top awards.

2nd Shapland Deracor Duty Paid, mature boy, masculine head without being course, good neck into well laid shoulder, plenty of bone, straight front, well ribbed, short loin, moved well with wagging tail

Open Bitch 

1st Davies Annaside Winter’s Moon presents a pleasing outline, cobby and square, balanced head, kind expression, square muzzle, . dark expressive eyes, sound front assembly. good depth of chest, good tight thickly padded feet. short backed with good width throughout, well sprung ribs carried well back, short loin. Well rounded rear, Moved well.

BVIS Mason Sandlauga Soul Man mature red who belies his years, such a merry cocker, Well balanced head, good angulation at front and rear, excellent depth of chest, moved well with his ever wagging tail.
