Thank you to Dale and the Scarborough committee for inviting me to judge Lhasa Apsos & Shih tzus on their centenary year. I thoroughly enjoyed my day.

Special Yearling (3)

1st Moore’s Unstoppable Alpu Slens to Jaxtzu Jw (imp LTU)

19mnth g/w with a lovely head, eye & expression. He was well-made with good bone and substance. Straight forelegs and good depth of chest. Level topline with well-set tail. His coat was well presented and of good texture. Moved Well. BOB

2nd Skawska’s Mapimakastar Lady Sat Al

Pretty brindle/white, 11 months. I liked her outline stacked and on the move. Balanced head with nice expression from kind, dark eye. Firm, level topline with a well-set tail. Her coat was well presented and of good texture. Moved well but unfortunately dropped her tail.

3rd Skawska’s Norboo Bobby Dazzler of Mapimakastar

1st Skawska’s Mapimakastar Jasmin Jol Ja

Another youngster with a nice head, eye and expression. Compact size and shape with good neck and shoulder. Level topline and good tail-set. Moved well. RBOB & BP

2nd Skawska’s Mapimakastar Lady Sat Al

Unfortunately wouldn’t put her tail up on the move, which cost her the class.

14 months solid gold male. Dark, well-placed, round eye & good chin. Ample neck, and depth of chest, tail set on high and carried well. His coat had good texture and was well-presented. Moved a touch close behind.

Puppy (1)

1st Downes Alamiks No Strange Delight for Tsuki

Top sized gold puppy, 11 months. Good head with narrow skull, dark oval eyes giving a soft expression. Nice outline which he held on the move. Good depth of chest, level topline and high tailset. Good bone and substance. His coat was well prepared. Moved with a nice jaunty action. BP

1st Horne’s Chanceinn’s Just Laughing

Compact, well-made dog, just out of puppy. Pleasing head and expression with a medium oval eye. I would prefer a slightly narrower skull. I liked his overall balance, well-ribbed back and compact loin. Level topline & correct tailset. Well-muscled hindquarters & jaunty, free movement. Going through a coat change at the moment, but had the correct texture. RBOB

2nd Batley’s Lucijules Simply Bonkerz

This young man has a pleasing outline with a level topline, good tailset and moderate angulation. Well-presented coat of correct texture. Moved better as he settled.

1st Crook & Hall’s Shenedene Kiss My Pix Sell with Charjilliam

Nearly 3 years feminine gold bitch. Lovely head, medium stop and moderately narrow skull. Dark, oval eye, good mouth & broad jaw, excellent beard and whiskers all combining to give a soft, appealing expression. She has a good length of neck which flows into a fairly well-laid shoulder. Nicely ribbed back & moderate angles. First class presentation of a beautifully textured coat. Moved well. BOB

2nd Horne’s Chanceinn’s Psychosis

Black dog, 3 years. Lovely balance and outline. Really nice head and expression. Level topline and good tailset. Well muscled quarters. Jaunty movement.
