Thank you to the committee for their invitation to judge and also to the exhibitors who brought their dogs along to show, the dogs on the most part were beautifully presented.
Cocker Spaniel Junior (3; 1)
1st Furzer’s Lochellan Dunn’s River Blue, Just 8 months old a moving so well, showing wonderful reach and drive and that ever merry attitude. Feminine all through with a lovely shape to skull and intelligent expression and low set ears. She has a well angulated front and a lovely depth to brisket and well bent stifle, Developing a lovely coat.
2nd Burnett’s Alan Parrish of Shaggy Love (imp Fra) Thought that this boy may have been my winner but 1st simply out moved him today, built on a larger frame but retained balance. Super through masculine head, good depth to muzzle and clean expressive eyes with good brows. Clean in outline with strong neck and clean topline leading through to his well set tail,
Cocker Spaniel Graduate (2; 1)
1st Duncan’s Corralet Opera of Dunherl JW, Stood alone but worthy of her placing, such a pretty feminine lady. Dark eyes and low set ears with a lovely finish to fore face. Muscular neck set cleanly through well laid shoulders to firm topline. Had plenty of forechest and good depth to her chest. Well bent stifle. Moved well.
Cocker Spaniel Open (7; 3)
1st Fairbairn & Madigan’s Misperros Incandescent at Carmelfair JW, Loved this bitch, so feminine and presenting such a clean balanced outline. Long muscular neck. Clean firm topline, plenty of forechest and depth to brisket and strength through to her loin and well angulated rear. Carried herself so well around the ring with plenty of reach, driving from short hocks, with wonderful head carriage and ever wagging tail. In super coat and condition. Delighted to award her BOB & Group 1
2nd Torbett’s Kirlinjis Handmade JW, Another lovely lady did prefer 1st in head. Lovely length of muscular neck, well set shoulders, firm topline leading to well set tail. Good depth to brisket and well ribbed back. Well angulated in rear, another moving very well.
3rd Furzer’s Durham Blue
English Setter Open (4; 2)
1st Vallance’s Rowanmyle of Prudent Lore , Promising young lady with pleasing balanced shape, level topline, good depth to chest. Feminine head With dark expressive eyes, good depth to muzzle and well set ears. Well bent stifle, moving well. BOB.
2nd Vallance’s Ennydloc Yorkshire Liason to Rowanmyle, Lovely young boy moved well but I would have liked to have seen some more exuberance. Handsome masculine head. Good shoulders leading cleanly over firm topline, good depth to brisket and well sprung ribs. In excellent coat and condition.
Gordon Setter Open (1; 0)
1st Millar & Scobie’s Yennadon Calvay JW ShCEX OSW, Handsome boy with masculine head, expressive eyes and used his brows well to add to his intelligent expression. Strong muscular neck, well laid shoulders, clean level topline. Plenty of forechest and good depth to brisket. In excellent well muscled condition allowed him to move well whilst sporting his gleaming coat. BOB.
Retriever (Labrador) Junior (2; 0)
1st Tulloch’s Tullochmohr Thyme to Shine, Lovely feminine girl, in a super well textured coat and condition. Feminine head with dark expressive eyes, strong muscular neck leading cleanly through to firm level topline leading to a well set shapely tail. Good depth of brisket. Well angulated rear, Moved well.
2nd Tulloch’s Tullochmohr Take a Bow, Young man having lots of fun but did move well once he settled down. masculine head with dark eye. Muscular neck, at the moment preferred 1st in topline but has plenty of time to develop on his side. Good forechest and depth to chest and well bent stifle and neat feet,
Retriever (Labrador) Graduate (3; 1)
1st Pollock’s Pollham Bracara, Feminine girl, built on a smaller frame but retaining strength. Feminine in head with dark expressive eyes and well set ears, clean over shoulders to firm topline, plenty of forechest and depth to brisket and strength through loin. Well angulated in rear with nice width to thighs. Moved well.
2nd Gunn’s Exelby Finch, Masculine boy who was well balanced in shape but did not quite have the angles of first, Lovely head with expressive eyes, long neck firm topline, good depth to chest and strength through loin. Tail well set.
1st Retriever (Labrador) Open (1; 0)
Gunn’s Exelby Elizabeth, Liked her overall shape and balance. Super in head, so feminine with dark eyes and expressive brows and well set ears. Muscular neck, well set shoulders and clean firm topline. Well angulated fore and aft. Moved well. In lovely coat and condition. BOB

1st Hill & Smith’s Megarvey Cocomelon, Lovely puppy full of quality, presenting a well balanced feminine outline. Lovely head with expressive eyes and well set ears. Long muscular neck, well angulated in front with firm level topline, good depth to brisket and strength through loin, well angulated rear, in excellent coat and moving so well.
2nd Carlton Thistlegate Sanoma Moon , Another lovely puppy, just 9 months old and will take a little longer to fill into his frame, at the moment preferring the topline of 1st, Masculine with a lovely head and expressive eyes. Muscular neck, Good forechest, well boned, Good depth to chest and well sprung ribs, good width to loin and well bent in stifle, developing a lovely coat

1st Bolton’s Goldmarker I Dreamed a Dream at Shiresmill, Such a lovely boy, so well made and presented a masculine balanced outline. Coming into a lovely coat. Plenty depth to chest, level topline, good bend of stifle and moved well.
2nd Warden’s Holinbrae Eurastar at Glentochty, Smaller made boy with a really lovely head and expression, dark expressive eyes and low set ears. Muscular neck leading cleanly though well angulated ront, well bent stifle and lovely neat feet.

1st McDonald’s Lamansha Obsidian Flame, A lovely girl, moved so well around the class with the others, showing excellent reach and drive, finished off with a lovely head and tail carriage. Feminine in head, dark expressive eyes and well set ears, Long muscular neck. Well angulated in front with firm strong topline to well set tail. Good depth to chest and well spring ribs, well angulated in rear with good width to thighs and neat feet. In lovely coat and condition. BOB & Group 2.
2nd Palmer & White’s Linirgor Perfect Symphony of Cairnglen , A really lovely veteran lady who carries herself so well, appealed for her clean balanced outline, Feminine in head with dark expressive eyes, clean and muscular neck to level topline and well set tail. Well angulated front with good forechest. In lovely coat and condition, also took a well deserved first place in strong AV Gundog veteran class.

1st Maclaine & Dickson’s Greyspirit Mystique JW CJW22, Feminine long head, expressive eyes and well set ears. Long muscular neck, clean over well set shoulders Good depth of chest and ribbed well back to strong firm loin, well set tail and well bent stifle. Moved well. BOB.
2nd Maclaine & Dickson’s Greyspirit Hopes n’ Dreams JW ShCEX OSW VW, feminine head with expressive eyes, long muscular neck, well angulated in front with good width to front and plenty depth to chest, well bent stifle and moved well.

1st Legg & Scott’s Oakswarren Believe in Magic, Lovely puppy, super shape of head, showing good stop and low set ears, expressive eyes. Muscular neck, clean level topline, good depth of chest. Well bent stifle and compact neat feet, Moved well and in excellent muscular condition. She looked like she was really enjoying her time in the ring, long may it continue. BOB.

1st Collin’s Millpoint Spread Your Wings over Vabisbrae, Lovely youngster. Nice shape to head, with kind expression and well set ears. Clean over neck and shoulders to firm sloping topline to well set tail. Good spring of Rib and well bent stifle. Moved well. BOB.
2nd Collin’s Raigmore Hermia of Vabisbrae, Built on a smaller frame, Feminine in head with well set ear, long muscular neck, did prefer 1 in topline. Good depth to brisket, short muscular long, good width to thighs and well bent stifle.
German Shorthaired Pointer Open (8; 5)
1st Brown’s Montalba Miss Aching, Lovely bitch, shapely head with a lovely set to ear, Muscular neck, clean firm topline to well set tail. Good depth to chest and well ribbed back to muscular loin. Well bent stifle and good width to thighs and neat feet. BOB.
2nd McCafferty Thorscrag Hades JW ShCEX OSW, Handsome masculine boy, long muscular neck, clean into shoulders, Good depth to brisket, short firm loin, well bent stifle and neat feet, I have had the pleasure of judging this boy before and moved well behind but not quite moving as well in front today.

1st Nicolson’s Knockhalon Spooktacular of Taranstigh, A handsome boy with a lovely head, well set ears and intelligent questioning expression. Well set shoulders, good length of body, well ribbed back with a firm level topline and well set tail. Good bend of stifle. Moved really well and in lovely coat and condition. BOB.
2nd Nixon’s Knockhalon put a spell on You at Glenbruetti, Sister of 1st place and a really close decision between the 2, just preferring the expression of 1st but still a lovely feminine head with well set ears. I liked her clean balanced outline with well angulated fore and aft and firm level topline. moved well.

A lovely class to judge.
1st Rose’s Pinereoch Amethyst of Rosannoch, Love the clean balanced outline of this bitch, beautiful feminine head with kind expression and low set ears. Cleanly set muscular neck, well angulated in front, good depth to chest and well sprung ribs. Firm level topline, well set tail and well bent stifle. A bit excitable on the move today, but moved well when settled settled, driving well from short hocks. BOB & Group 3.
2nd Stevenson’s Peasblossom Brogan at Gaolachcara, Handsome masuline boy with dark eyes and low set ears, muscular long neck fitting cleanly into well set shoulders to firm level topline, good depth to brisket with well sprung ribs. Preferred 1st in angles of rear. Well set tail and moved well.

1st McGeachie’s Lux Ch/ IrShCh Malbemogs Lady of the Lake at Klanhallion (Sussex Spaniel), A lovely lady moving well. Feminine in head with good stop and lovely shape to muzzle and well set ears, muscular neck, good angles in front, firm level topline back to strong compact loin and well angulated rear. In wonderful coat and condition. Best NSC & Group 4
2nd Woodhouse’s Elfrindew Bye Bye Baby Buntin at Vixenmoor (Bracco Italiano) Balanced in shape, Long head with well set ears and beautiful soft expression. Well angulated in front with strong well boned legs, Good depth to brisket. Good bend of stifle.
3rd Cummings’s May Court Island Girl for Breichside (Curly Coated Ret)
