The North West Toy & Utility Society, 11.10.2025. Chinese Crested & Lowchen. 

I kindly thank the committee for inviting me to judge my breed and a breed I have a great interest in. Huge thank-you to the exhibitors who brought there dogs. 

Chinese Crested.

Class 29 - Puppy, 1 Entry. 

1st - 61, Laws Mrs K, Karamouche All Dressed Up. 

Stunning Cream Powderpuff Bitch, 11 Months Old A super example of the breed. Displays a fantastic temperament. Dark, almond-shaped eyes with correct head proportions. Still needs a touch of refinement, which will no doubt come with maturity. Large, erect, fully furnished ears set perfectly. Correct dentition. Good length of neck leading into well-laid shoulders. Rear developing well, showing an excellent turn of stifle and lovely low hocks. Slightly longer than tall, presenting outstanding balance throughout with an exquisite outline. Movement was effortless and flowing, parallel from every angle. Tail well set and carried perfectly. Presented in immaculate condition with a true veil developing. I had no hesitation in awarding her BOB & BPIB A young bitch with a very bright future.

Class 30 - Junior, 1 Entry. 

Same exhibit as previous class. 

Class 32 - Open, 2 Entries, 1 Absence. 

1st - 62, Proctor, Proctor & McGowan, Mr A, Mrs M & Miss T, Pufflepaws Prosecco Please. 

6-Year-Old Black and White Hairless Bitch, up to size. Presented in good condition and clearly enjoying her day out. Pleasing head proportions with tight cheeks and deep, dark eyes, ideally, a touch less round for perfection. Large ears set correctly and well used. Correct dentition.Good length of neck, tight shoulders, and correct hare-like feet. Chest could be slightly fuller; however, this did not impede her sound movement coming and going. Tail well carried.Balanced outline with good length of loin and a level topline, showing a slight drop to croup. A very honest, sound bitch.

Lowchen 

Class 64 - Open, 1 Entry 

1st - 62, Proctor, Proctor & McGowan, Mr A, Mrs M & Miss T, Golbourne Creme De La Creme Avec Tramarllan JW. 

4 Year Old Cream/Grey Bitch, Stood alone today, but more than worthy of her placing. Correct head proportions with deep, dark eyes and good muzzle width. Sweet, ultra-feminine expression. Correct dentition. Arched neck, though a touch more length would enhance overall balance. Short, compact body with a strong, level topline. Tight shoulders and a deep chest. Moved out very well both coming and going, driving strongly from a well-muscled rear with ample angulation. Tail set and carried correctly. Coat presented OK. BOB.
