Boston & District Canine Society Christmas Premier Open Show

I would like to say a huge thank you to the Committee of Boston & District Canine Society for inviting me to judge Boxer dogs and for their warm welcome on the day.

Puppy

1st Newlaithe Bridget Jones with Treju (10 months old)

 Dark Brindle and White elegant puppy bitch with an attractive feminine head. She had a gentle, soft expression with the correct amount of wrinkle and bright kindly eyes.

She had a good arch of neck with a good layback of shoulder and an excellent forward reach in her movement. She held a strong level topline throughout. In the Challenge she excelled, is well-constructed and I was proud to award her for Best Puppy and Best Of Breed.

2ND Arkeney Heatwave (6 months old)

A young Red and White Dog and whilst, younger than the winner, showed well for his age and was at one with his handler. He had a pleasing head with lovely dark eyes.

I was very fortunate to have two quality puppies to go over in this class. He is developing well and is nicely constructed. He moved well and covered the ground with ease and has a good level top line with a pleasing croup and tail set.

3RD Arkeney Honeysuckle

1ST Arkeney Geneva (19 months old)

 Dark Brindle and White quality bitch with a feminine, pleasing head with dark eyes and correct ear set. She had a lovely topline which was held on the move, covered the ground easily, was nicely balanced and handled well. She was shown in lovely condition and only lost out to a youngster who was really on her toes today. I was pleased to give this girl - Reserve Best Of Breed. 

2ND Norwilbeck Bellchime A Star (12 months old)

A young bitch who is starting to mature beautifully. A well-balanced head with dark kindly eyes. She has a correct gait, moved well and maintained her topline throughout.

 Overall, she showed well and was in tune with her handler and appeared to be comfortable in her surroundings.

3RD Normybox Monkey Man At Slanstorm.

1ST Slanstorm Supernatural Dean (3 and a half years old)

 A Deep Red and White male, who stood alone in his class today. He had an attractive masculine head with dark eyes. He had a well-developed chest with a pleasing top line, moved nicely and covered the ground with ease. He appeared to have a delightful temperament and seemed to enjoy his day.

1ST Slanstorm Supernatual Sam ( 4 and a half years old)

Dark Brindle and White. She was a mature girl who appeared to be more Continental in type but pleasing to the eye. She has dark eyes, an attractive head with a correct mouth and a good ear set. She had a well-developed chest and is an overall balanced girl who moved in time with her handler.

2ND Slanstorm Time Traveller (4 and a half years old)

A Red and White bitch with a black mask. Lovely pleasing head with bright eyes. This attentive girl showed well for her handler. She was alert throughout her time in the ring and showed enthusiasm during standing and movement. Just felt number one had the edge at the time.
