I'd like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge! Overall I found all my exhibits to be good examples of their breed standards. All exhibitors were gracious and well mannered, it is a shame the weather warnings had put some people off of turning up but these things cannot be helped. A big thank you to my stewards for helping my ring run so smoothly.

1, Stratton JUSTARTEE THIS IS ME CJW’25 IR/BEL/NLD/GER/LUX JCH 

20 months old, very feminine bitch with matching headpiece, dark eye, good expression, correct ear set, good length of neck leading to a nice lay of shoulder, straight front, okay in bone, good chest, well angulated, moved with good stride. BOB 

2, Hardy & Hallam CH TOKAJI MEMPHIS BELLE 

Well deserved champion, same strong qualities as 1, strong headpiece, ample bone, in good condition and coat, unsettled on the move today.

1, Huikeshoven & Allenby JOUR APRES JOUR TWICE AS NICE 

I have been admiring this girl from ringside and to have my hands on her was a delight! Only 8 mo yet she oozes breed type and quality, correct head shape, dark eye, correct ear set and length, excellent lay of shoulder, ample bone, straight front, prominent sternum, good chest depth, level topline, well angulated, move with so much ease, this bitch is one i will follow veery closely and i wish her owners all the best for the future. 1, Wood TRAMARDACS WHAT A FLUFF UP 

2 yr old bitch, quite unsettled with a new handler, nice head of good size, dark eye with sweet expression, correct ear set, nice length of neck into well laid shoulder, good bone, prominent front, good depth of chest, well extended ribs, well angulated, moved well when settled. 

SH Dachshund Open (2:0) 

1, Starkey CARPACCIO MAGNUM PI AT HAMOURA 

4 yr old male, very masculine boy, clean head of good proportions, dark eye, correct ear set, good length of neck into nice shoulder, strong front, good bone, lovely depth of chest with well extended rib, nice topline, good angulation, moved very well, 

2, Wood HUNDPOINT MEENA TILS 

Feminine girl sporting similar qualities to 1, lovely profile, another good mover, unfortunately she lacked coat today. 

SH Mini Dachshund Puppy (2:1) 

1, Carey DEBBIEJAY MOULIN ROUGE 

I really liked this youngster, feminine head of good shape, lovely dark eye, good ear placement, good length of neck, well laid shoulder, prominent front, lovely depth of chest and length of rib, good topline, nice bend of stifle, moved well, i will be interested to see how she matures. 

SH Mini Dachshund Junior (2:1) 

1, Williams NOVAVIDA SUMMER SUNSHINE 

Very feminine, nice head of good shape, correct ears and eye, sweet expression, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, prominent front, good depth of chest, nice length of rib, ok in topline, good bend of stifle, unfortunately the grass bothered her today but she moved ok, could do with some weight off. 

SH Mini Dachshund Post Graduate (3:1) 

1, Carey & Walker DEBBIEJAY JAMMY LASS 

Another bitch that i thoroughly enjoyed, feminine all through with good profile, clean head, dark eye with lovely expression, correct ear set and length, correct length of neck, good lay of shoulder, prominent front, lovely depth of chest and length of rib, strong topline, excellent angulation, moved very well. 

2, Scott ALLERBACH ONE MORE TIME 

I liked this boy as well and it was a close call between the two, masculine head of good size and proportions, lovely eye and expression, good ear set, well extended neck, correct lay of shoulder into a strong front, good chest depth, ribs extended well, nice angulation, another one who was quite bothered by the grass, moved ok. 

SH Mini Dachshund Open (4:2) 

1, Scott ALLERBACH ONE MORE TIME 

His movement had settled much more in this class which pushed him for the top spot. 

2, Walker DONNADOON LITTLE DREAMER AT DORENIAN 

I liked this bitch in profile and felt no different when I put my hands on her, very feminine all through and similar qualities to 1, overall she is a very nice example of the breed i just felt she was a touch wide behind today.

1, Cross KALISPELL’S FONZARELLI LOGGETA (IMP PRT) 

I love this dogs attitude! He is a super example of the breed and oozes type, beautiful head of good shape, keen eye, correct ear shape and placement, nice length of neck into well laid shoulders, straight front, lovely depth of chest with well extended ribs, strong topline, well angulated, moved well when he was behaving! Its a shame these dogs get overlooked as I could see him taking a group place at any show.
