First and foremost, I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to the committee of Chepstow
and District for their kind invitation and warm hospitality throughout the show. It was a
real pleasure to be part of an event that embraced a VE Day theme – the atmosphere
was fantastic and truly added to the spirit of the occasion.
As with any well-supported show, the second day proved to be a long one, and
understandably this led to some absentees in the finals which is obviously
disappointing. Finally, my apologies for the slightly rushed turnaround of the stakes
classes – time was tight, and I did my best to keep things running as smoothly as
possible under the circumstances but left little time for pleasantries.
