Thank you for the invitation to judge your Members Christmas Limited Show. It was a well-run friendly show and nice to see all the dogs clean and well presented. Everyone took their places with grace and good sportsmanship. I really enjoyed myself and was pleased with the entry and quality on the day.

AVNSC Special Veteran (7-9 Years)

(6,1), 1 Saxby, Miss. K.D., Runaround Amazin’ Grace with Sandspring: A 7yr old light fawn Whippet bitch. She is very pleasing to the eye. Well balanced and very typy and moved around the ring really well. Please to award her BV.

2 Meakin, Mr. P. & Mrs. C., Layoli Firecracker at Miksang: An 8yr old black Tibetan Terrier dog. Pity he had to come up against the one above. He is in good coat and is very neat and well presented. Moved well. Liked him a lot.

3 Gregg, Mrs S., Locksheath Beach Comber: Gordon Setter. Dog.

4 Rose, Mrs B.J., Pennydach Mystique at Rosencrantz: Dachshund (Min. Smooth-Haired) Bitch.

AVNSC Special Veteran (10 Years)

(5,2), 1 Murphy, Mrs. V. & Mr. M., Black Royal at Rhosyndu VW: A 10.5yr old Beagle dog of tricolour black, tan and white colouring. He was enjoying his day out. Very typical and moving nicely around the ring.

2 Read, Mr. B.J. & Mrs. A.E., Atanasova Lady Sofiya at Roxambor ShCM VW: A 13yr old Border Terrier bitch. A very neat bitch standing. Just gave up on the move. But still liked her all the same.

3 Gruszka, Mr. S. & Mrs D., Samphrey Sea Breeze VW: Shetland Sheepdog. Bitch.

AVNSC Minor Puppy Dog

(6,2), 1 Lawrence, Mr. E. & Mrs. J., Waterley Soldier of Love: A 6mth old Tibetan Terrier dog. He really took my eye. Not just by his type and out-line which is excellent but by his demeanour. He is full of character, and he moves really well about the ring in his jet-black coat. Pleased to award him Res.BP in Show. Well Done.

2 Osborne, Mrs. C., Derohan Dark Angel: A 7mth old black & white Whippet dog. He is a pleasing dog with a nice out-line which moves well. Pity to come up against the winner today.

3 Church, Mrs. T., Sanyinko Natsu Taiyo: Japanese Spitz.

4 Daly, Miss. S.L., Deltarott Lightnin McQueen: Rottweiler.

AVNSC Minor Puppy Bitch

(10,1), 1 Saxby, Miss K.D., Sandspring Sophia Loren: A 7mth old fawn & white Whippet bitch. Really liked this girl, she is a lovely type and so well balanced for her age. Nice smooth lines throughout. So smooth on the move, free and easy. Pleased to award her BP in Show. Well done. I loved her.

2 Musty, Mrs. W., Derohan Threefourfive to Buebezi: Another 7mth old light brindle Whippet bitch. Very feminine, smaller type of bitch. A bit compact to me, but not over balanced. Not quite as balanced on the move. I do like her colouring though.

3 Lawrence, Mr. E. & Mrs. J., Tazique Kiss of Life: Tibetan Terrier.

4 Osborne, Mrs. C., Derohan Desert Orchid: Whippet.

AVNSC Puppy Bitch

(4,2), 1 Eyre-Brook, Mrs. J., Ermyn Dancing Jewel at Wothorpe: An 11mth old sable & white Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) bitch. A sweet girl, more to come from her as yet. She was the best mover in this class today.

2 Riis-White, Miss E. & Ms. I., Cerneyleaze Lillibridge: A 6mth old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This bitch needs some serious training. Her movement was all over the place on the day, which was a massive shame. Training and handling classes will be of a great help.

AVNSC Gundog Puppy

(2,1), 1 Phillips, Mrs. S., Zakova Merry Dancer: A 10mth old Cocker Spaniel (Orange Roan) that stood alone in this class. He just needs training. I liked his type and balance. So don’t waste him.

AVNSC Gundog Junior

(1), 1 Stangroom, Mrs. C.M. & Mr. B.J., Riondel Artemis into Lappakia: A 13mth old blue roan Cocker Spaniel that stood alone in this class. He has a neat out-line and is of a nice type. Moved well about the ring. Very nice.

AVNSC Gundog Graduate

(6,4), 1 Gregg, Mrs. S., Caradilis Fiach Dubh: A 20mth old Gordon Setter. A dog that is well up to size with a nice out-line and of pleasing type. Moved purposefully around the ring.

2 Arnold & Dobson, Miss R. & Mr. J., Jenberry Shield at Treecave: A 5yr old Retriever (Labrador). A bitch that was unfortunately a little sluggish on the move. Shame as she is of a pleasing type and out-line.

AVNSC Gundog Post Graduate

(6,3), 1 Bell & Siedler, Mrs. C.L. & Mrs. S., Leader Line Stilish Melvin (ATC BA15783 BLR): A 3yr old black & white, Spaniel (American Cocker). A nicely presented dog. Eye catching of a good type and out-line. He is well balanced which showed on the move. Easy winner of this class.

2 Hutchison, Ms D.J., Kasordon Maid Of Fire for Bartomy: A 3yr old spaniel (Cocker) bitch. Pity to come up against the 1st. She is a pleasing bitch of nice proportions. Sweet type and out-line. Just beaten on the flamboyance of the 1st.

3 Hewitt, Miss L., Blue Jewel’s Garvin (Imp Che.): A Spaniel (Irish Water) Dog.

AVNSC Gundog Open

(3,0), 1 Hydon, Mrs. M., Loxbourne Hustle and Bustle IR. Jr. Ch.: A 2yr old Spaniel (English Springer). A bitch that is of a very pleasing type and out-line. Nicely balanced for age. Moved about the ring smartly, very nice.

2 Hewitt, Miss L., Blue Jewel’s Garvin (Imp Che.): A 25mths old dog. A Spaniel (Irish Water) from the previous class where he came 3rd. He actually redeemed himself better in this class, by moving better. He is well grown for his age with a good coat.

3 Arnold & Dobson, Miss R. & Mr. J., Roughyeds Regal George at Treecave: A Retriever (Curly Coated). Dog.

AVNSC Terrier / Utility Puppy

AVNSC Terrier / Utility Junior

(4,0), 1 Hunt, Mr. J.E., Fearnought Madam Blanc: An 18mth old Bulldog bitch. Lots to like about this young lady. Very feminine of a nice type. Plenty of character. Neat out-line and nice and steady on the move. Very nice.

2 Emery, Mrs. E., Lacoral Cosmos: A 13mth old Tibetan Spaniel dog. Of a nice type and out-line. Moved out ok. Pity he came up against the 1st. Very nice.

3 Church, Mrs. T., Sanyinko Barton’s Starlet: Japanese Spitz. Bitch.

4 Holborow, Mr. B., Magnuspaws Delphinus: Poodle (Toy), Bitch.

AVNSC Terrier / Utility Post Graduate

(10,1,1w/d), 1 Holborow, Mr. B., Aston Dworek Babie Lato (Imp Pol): A 2.5yr old grey Poodle (Miniature) dog with loads of character. He is of a nice type with a good out-line and well balanced throughout. He was in complete harmony with his handler. Sailing around the ring, easily stealing this class. I was pleased to award him Res. BIS which he thoroughly deserved. Well done.

2 Lawrence, Mrs. J.M., Tazique the Emperior: A 2.5yr old Tibetan Terrier. This black & white dog is of a good type and out-line. He is also well balanced. Just a shame to come up against the 1st today. He also moved nicely around the ring like a trooper, very nice.

3 Crook, Mrs. D.M., Sonduriya Running on Empty: Boston Terrier. Dog.

4 John, Mrs. V., Lichstone Born to Run: Miniature Schnauzer. Dog.

(11,1,1w/d), 1 Holborow, Mr. B., Aston Dworek Babie Lato (Imp Pol): As before.

2 John, Mrs. V., Lichstone Born to Run: A 3yr old salt n pepper Miniature Schnauzer dog which was in the previous class. He is of a pleasing type and out-line and earned his placing with his movement in this class.

3 Garside, Mrs. T., Bon Triumph Keep Close To Me Mistyholly (Imp Mys): Chow Chow. Bitch.

4 Meakin, Mr. P. & Mrs. C., Layoli Firecracker at Miksang: As before.

(4,0), 1 Eyre-Brook, Mrs. J., Ermyn Dancing Jewel at Wothorpe: As before.

2 Daly, Miss S.L., Deltarott Lightnin McQueen: Just 6mths old this Rottweiler dog I have seen earlier in a strong class. He is well grown for his age and is a pleasing type with a friendly attitude. Steady on the move earning his place in this class.

3 Urbonas, Mr. D., Reeviella Midnight Onyx: Australian Shepherd. Dog.

4 Shipp, Mr. R.P. & Mrs. M.A., Tremaro Fantasy: Collie (Rough). Bitch.

AVNSC Pastoral / Working Post Graduate

(7,2), 1 Garside, Mrs. T., Triforce Iseidir at Mistyholly: A 14mth old tri colour, Australian Shepherd. This dog is well grown for his age, and is a pleasing type and out-line. Earned his place in this class on his movement.

2 White, Miss M.L., Corydon Cristal Aglitter: An 18mth old Collie (Rough) bitch. Pleasing out-line and type. Just would like to see her a bit sounder on the move.

3 Keighley, Mr. J., Fenstyle Fire Wizard: Shetland Sheepdog. Dog.

4 Gruszka, Mr. S. & Mrs. D., Achor’s Surprise Himalaya over Samphrey (Imp Che): Shetland Sheepdog. Bitch.

2 Ricketts, Mrs. E., Zaldun Bombay Sapphire: A 17mth old Shetland Sheepdog bitch. A pretty blue merle bitch that is well up to size. Nice type and out-line. Moved out ok.

3 Shipp, Mr. R.P. & Mrs. M.A., Tremaro Million Dollar Baby: Collie (Rough). Bitch.

AVNSC Toy Puppy

(1,0), 1 Riis-White, Miss E. & Ms. I., Cerneyleaze Gwendoline: A 6mth old tri, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. A bitch with a pleasing out-line and nice shape. Stood alone in this class, and still a bit wobbly on the back end.

(4,1), 1 Wilson, Mrs. J., Jaegerson Kiss’N Tell: A 6yr old Miniature Pinscher, bitch. A pleasing girl, sweet type. Best mover in this class. Enjoying her day out.

2 Green, Mr. C.R., Nicobri Lord of the Dance: A 2yr old dog well grown Pug. That move nicely about the ring. Shame to come up against 1st. Nice fawn colour.

3 Riis-White, Miss E. & Ms. I., Glebeheath Jelly Bean: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Bitch.

(2,1), 1 Rose, Mrs. B.J., Merryline Martha with Rosencrantz JW: Dachshund (Min. Wire-Haired). A 17mth old bitch, grey in colour. Stood alone in this class. She is a nice size and type with a pleasing out-line. Moved about the ring nicely. Has a good harsh coat. Very pleasing.

(5,2), 1 Skinner, Mrs. K., Whitesquall Mionetto: Just over 2yrs of age this dappled Whippet bitch catches the eye with her colouring. She is very pleasing type, nice outline, particularly nice angles to rear. Moved well.

2 Johnson, Mrs. C.L.., Ruletadax Destina: A 2yr old Dachshund (Min. Smooth-Haired), Bitch. Pity she came up against 1st. Pleasing bitch that is coming on nicely. Very neat. Moved well.

3 Eyre-Brook, Dr. M., Mylforbe The Bishop at Gentlegorse: Dachshund (Min. Smooth-Haired). Dog.

AVNSC Hound Open

(11,2), 1 Murphy, Mrs. V & Mr. M., Bayard Seal Of Approval at Rhosyndu JW: A 21mth old Beagle dog is very pleasing with his nice out-line. Really well balanced with super out-line and type. Moved superbly around the ring. Making himself an easy winner, and he did not stop here. He carried on to take BIS with his out-standing movement. Well deserved.
