JAPANESE CHIN POST GRADUATE (3/3)

1. Beadling SHARLARNA ECLIPSE Very pretty Black & White baby. Sweet head & expression. Correct head shape & balance. Correct shape dark with typical white at corner. Well set ears. Correct tail set & carriage. Just needs to come up in leg to complete the picture. Sound front & back movement. Full of life & personality. Silky coat. BP

2. Newbery SHARLARNA BRANDY BLAZE Lovely Red & White boy. A bit longer in loin, but otherwise very smart. Pretty head with correct eye/ears & nose placement. Correct feet. Good tail set & carriage. Lovely silky coat with good feathering. Moves true behind, but toes in a bit in front. Still a very nice puppy with lots of promise.

1. Potts ADREEM ALICE JW Very pretty Red & White with correct pigment. Lovely head with correct well feathered ears, correct eye. Good nose placement, well cushioned muzzle. Good tail set & carriage. Correct feet. Balanced body, silky coat. Correct body shape and sound on the move front & rear. Best mover in class. BOB

2. Newbery SHARLARNA SYMPHONY Black & White 2 year old bitch. Very dainty & feminine. Correct body shape. Topline unsettled. Tail carried well. Correct body balance. Moved steadily once she settled down.

1. Linton THEKOP’S SI SINOR Smart Black & Tan boy with correct skull shape. Well set ears, good eye. Correct bite. Correct neck balance. Good feet. Not quite ideal body balance, but clear winner in class. Sound & free moving. Silky coat but could be better presented.

2. Linton THEKOP’S BLACK VELVET Black & Tan girl, needs more ring training. Did not show to best advantage, but saw just enough movement to justify her class placing. Feminine, short in leg. Good coat texture, too rounded in skull. Good tail set & carriage.

2. Eccles LLAPSTTAM GET KNOTTED JW Ruby dog. Skull a bit too rounded & heavy roll over nose. Correct eye, ear set okay. Correct bite. Good feet. Lovely silky coat, well presented. Good tail set & carriage. Shorter in neck & short in upperarm, so not as free moving as 1.

1. Walker STAVONGA SKY WALKER KAYCEEKAY JW, OSW, ShCEx Blenheim boy who stood out in this class. Lovely head with correct skull shape. Good eye, & expression. Well set & well feathered ears. Correct feet. Well laid shoulders, balanced body. Well set & carried tails. Moderate neck. Sound & free moving. A little stronger than ideal, but still a very nice dog. BOB

2. Morgan & Mallaby FAWN FUR BABY Fawn boy with correct coat. Correct shape eye. Heavy roll over nose, but just nostrils open enough. Good tail set. Moved steadily.

1. Walker AFTERGLOW WILD WEST HERO AT SUNLEA JW Super Fawn boy, balanced throughout. Lovely head with large dark expressive eye, good muzzle with open nostrils. Well made short coupled cobby body with good chest width & depth. Level topline. Correct front angulation, typical movement. Good feet. High set tightly curled tail. A quality boy that I liked a lot. BOB

2. Walker AFTERGLOW ABLE MABEL OF SUNLEA JW Fawn bitch, cobby body, but a little off the square so not as balanced as 1. Correct double coat. Good head balance with well positioned ears. Smaller dark eye, correct shape. Good tight high set tail. Steady on move.

A.V. POST GRADUATE STAKES (47/16)

1. Parkinson KAYDANMY FUEL TO THE FIRE Super Red Eurasier of correct shape & size. Wedge shaped head with correct shape eye of good colour. Correct set ears of medium size. Good bite. Correct feet. Super coat of good texture. Well constructed front & rear. Steady, sound & free moving. Balanced throughout. An impressive young dog who will have a bright future. Congratulations to his owner/breeder for a very successful day.

2. Berry, Clegram & Clegram SMIDDYSHAW HERE I GO AGAIN Attractive Sable Shetland Sheepdog with correct wedge shaped head & lovely expression. Dark almond shaped eye, good bite. Dark pigment. Well positioned neat ears. Level topline, correctly angulated front & rear, correct shape body. Good feet. Well set & carried tail. Well presented coat of good texture. Sound & free moving. A great deal to like about this young dog, difficult decision between 1 & 2.
