English Toy Terrier (Black & Tan) Club
I really appreciated this appointment and would like to thank you all so much for the opportunity to assess your dogs. They were a credit to you especially as, to some, I was their 3rd judge of the day. A very big thank you to Charlotte for stewarding all day.

Baby Puppy Bitch
1. Marsden’s Regalriver Big Bad She Wolf At just 4 months old, she is lovely for size and shape, and all wrapped up in a glossy black jacket with well defined markings. Good length of head with well shaped dark eyes. Compact in body and all in proportion with gently rounded buttocks and a correct low set tail. Hard to assess movement properly as still needing assurance but keep training and having fun and building your partnership. Best Baby Puppy In Show

1. Roskell & Wood’s Nasabe Special Brew 14 months old in gleaming coat and lovely for size, bone and balance and who moved out smoothly with some extension in front. Lovely headpiece with a flat skull between his ears which were used well; his eyes small and obliquely set; a good length of neck fitting well into his shoulders, his fore-legs falling straight from his shoulder giving that correct straight front assembly. Curving nicely behind his shoulders and again over his loin. Well rounded buttocks; low-set tail and a well bent stifle with strong hocks helped his smooth fluid movement.

1. Pendlebury’s Ettology Small Gods of Pendlethrine 14 month old wrapped up in a glossy black jacket and of an ideal size with lovely curves. Lovely head in proportion with obliquely set small dark eyes and ears on the smaller side. Well rounded buttocks and a clean rear, correctly set tail but carried a little proudly on the move until settled.

1. Howard’s Lasagesse Jumpin Jack Flash Nice to see this young male again, I first judged him at 6 months at his first show and pleased to see he is maturing on well at just turned 2 years old. Classic wedge-shaped head, strong with flat skull between his well set ears; eyes are dark and obliquely set. Glossy black coat; compact in body with enough depth to brisket and lovely curves over his buttock and he has a low set tail which is also carried correctly on the move. He was fighting the lead a little coming towards me which affected his front movement but going away he was clear behind and in profile looked lovely and smooth.
Limit (3,5) Having checked the catalogue now I know why I really was splitting hair over 1st & 2nd
1. Pevy & Leonard’s Witchstone Won’t Be Silent For Richpin Now this 2 year old appealed for size and shape. Beautiful wedge shaped head with dark almond shaped eye; correct flat skull between his forward facing well set ears. He has a classic outline, curving in all the right places with a super glossy black jacket which was well marked but lacked thumbprints. Super front, which falls straight from the shoulder with good depth to elbow; compact in body with a well rounded rear and correct low set tail. Super strong rear, with a good bend of stifle and smooth on the move.
2. Roskell’s Witchstone Silent Wish With Rahima JW Many of the same attributes as the winner, who it turns out is his litter brother. Liked his head, but preferred the ear set of 1 and he is not as compact in body just yet. His glossy black jacket is in excellent condition and he excels on the move, such a sound, fluid mover. Lots more to come from this young dog I feel.
3. Reeve’s Galvizach Royal Emerald
Open Dog (2,3) 2 lovely dogs
1. Wines’ Etruria Say The Word This boy really filled my eye; lovely for size and has a classic ETT outline, a super straight front and so good to go over. Super head, ears facing forward and set well back on his head, facing forward. Curving in all the right places, with a good tuck up and well rounded buttocks with a low set tail, lovely bend of stifle and parallel hocks. Moved fluidly in all directions. Reserve Best Dog
2. Whitehouse’s Twowayshouse Tudor King For Dalmonde Have judged this boy at 2 and now here he is at 6 and still has lots of appeal and is in super condition, a credit to his owners. A slightly larger frame than the winner but still good to go over. Lovely head of good length, eyes sparkling and obliquely set and with a super ear set. Standing well with a straight front but just a little down on his pasterns now. Well rounded buttocks and a low set tail carried correctly on the move. Not as positive on the move as the winner.
Veteran Dog(3) Super class
1. Forsythe’s CH Witchstone Raindance Avec Richpin JW Another I have judged before, and a treat to see him today as a veteran and he didn’t disappoint. Cleanly built, and in super condition. Super wedge shaped head of good length and strength of muzzle and marked correctly; small, dark, obliquely set eyes; his ears are set well back with the desired candle flame shape. His neck is long and slightly arched and flows into his well laid shoulders. Straight front, deep chest and compact body with well rounded loin and correct low set tail which he carries correctly on the move. On the move, he was faultless and it was my pleasure to award him Best Dog, Best Veteran Dog and ultimately Best In Show and Best Veteran In Show.
2. Francis & Blatchford’s CH Witchstone Not Apache On Me For Peopleton VW This young man I have admired from ringside and he belies his years. Cleanly built, sleek and elegant and moves so fluidly. Masculine head of good length and typical wedge shape. Dark sparkling eyes and super ear set and shape. Lovely graceful neck into the straightest of fronts; He is in super shape and condition and all in proportion and so lovely to go over. Built on a slightly taller frame than the winner but once again he is fluid on the move and comes to a halt foursquare.

1. Haffenden & Wood’s Nasabe Stikes Again 7 month old and what a poppet. She has such a fabulous temperament for her age. Already presents such a classic shape and is in super condition whilst curving just enough in all the right places. Her head, though still to finish, has good length and a flat skull; a cracking ear set with well shaped candle flame ears and dark sparkling eyes. Super straight front, compact in body, well rounded buttocks and moves so well with front extension and drive from the rear. Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy In Show
2. Pendlebury’s Wykeworks Autumnal Sunsetta of Pendlethrine 11 months and lovely for size and her curvy outline in a glossy black jacket. Pretty wedge-shaped head with dark eyes, ears face forward but not quite as high which alters the expression. She seemed a little reluctant on the move.
