Second day 5th June

Thank you to Chris and the society for inviting me to judge Dachshunds, Golden Retrievers, stakes and BIS. I had a very enjoyable day, super dogs to judge and good sportsmanship from the exhibitors and 2 smashing stewards who kept my ring moving smoothly all day.

A very professional and well-run show. The welcome and hospitality I received from the officers and committee was much appreciated.

BIS

A quality line up, thank you to the group judges for selecting such super dogs.

BIS was the immaculately presented Tibetan Terrier, Araki Krazie Maizie For Tetsikarma JW ShCEX OSW, under her profuse, double coat there was a quality dog, with correct conformation, well-muscled compact body. Loved her head and feminine expression, on the move she was such a show girl, super reach and drive , holding her topline level and tail carried over back . I couldn’t deny her top spot today. She shone in the BIS ring. Well done

RBIS, was the stunning Pomeranian, Ch Norvanik Gold Smith At Bincomberfarm JW, stylish dog, who caught my eye on the stack, balanced, compact male. Foxy head, intelligent expression and small ears, back short but well ribbed. Shown in super coat. On the move he was so eye catching, brisk action with and plenty of sass. Loved him.

BPIS, was the Miniature Schnauzer,Penbro Walking On Sunshine, what a smart puppy , he was very balanced for his age , robust and square , good head planes, neat ears , longish neck, firm topline with well set tail, displaying a decent jacket . On the move, he held it together for one so young, must have a bright future.

RBPIS, Thurwhitt Lyra Belacqua, young Flatcoat bitch who was still full of enthusiasm after a long day, typey head with soft expression, lengthy neck sitting cleanly into well laid shoulders, body portions balanced , rear quarters developing nicely , she moved with drive and used her tail well . shown in good muscular condition.

BVIS, Ch Robelroy Many Dreams At Furlongfox ShCEx , what an ultra-smart dog , shouted breed type and didn’t disappoint when I got my hands on him , head balanced , good length of foreface, small v shape ears. Muscular, long neck. clean over withers, straight legs and elbows with room for movement. Short backed and well-muscled rear quarters. moved straight and true, dense, harsh coat. Super condition for a veteran.

RBVIS, Sh Ch Isfryn Spot The Difference Trebettyn VW, a boy I have done well for before, masculine head with a soft expression, well-constructed and kept in good muscular condition, balanced angulations front and aft, well ribbed back. When this boy moves, he really covers the ground effortlessly and shows drive from behind. At one with his handler.

Graduate (2)

1st Partridge, Viva La Vida By Riveroyal , balance bitch with a really pretty head, chiselling under eyes, good sternum and keel. Balanced angulations front and rear, moved well with parallel hocks. Lovely coat and body condition RBOB

Open (4,1)

1st Sainsbury, Drymoor Marron Glace At Boscolla, super balanced bitch, typey head with gorgeous expression, well-made front, shoulders well set , prominent sternum , long keel , ribs deep and carried well back. Strong level topline. She won this class on her true movement. Parallel hocks, excellent front reach keeping firm topline. Well presented with a beautiful silky coat. Delighted to award her BOB and she ultimately took Group 1 in a large hound group.

2nd Burley & Way, Swansford Almadora , present a nice outline stood and is balanced with good level topline. Correct head shape and colour of eye. Strong front. Moved steady.

3rd Rees, Sundayshill Blackberry

Class Graduate (7,2)

1st Way, Ralines Way And Means, loved her head, so good in proportions, eye shape and colour. Enough reach of neck, sitting well into shoulders. strong sternum and long keel. well ribbed and well angulated rear quarters. Moved the best in the class, paralell hocks showing drive with good reach in front. BOB

2nd Westaway, Minard Whispering Angel At Treranch, another nice bitch, so balanced in profile with firm topline, conical head with well set ears, good reach of neck. Moved well with good drive from strong hocks.

3rd Grose, Belvydach Proper Job

1st Westaway, Abbilis Maleficent At Treranch, Mature bitch, liked her overall shape and balance, head of correct proportions, pretty expression. Good return of upper arm and long keel, sufficient ground clearance, moved well, driving from parallel hocks retaining topline and tail carriage good. RBOB

2nd Grose, Belvydach Flaming Nora, head shape conical, good reach of neck with well-constructed front and equally good rear angulations, movement was very good, super drive and reach. Just preferred overall shape of 1st.

3rd Bater, Daxiemoors Flower Girl

1st Rycroft Chidax Sahara Sand By Trisensara JW, Really liked her, a strongly made bitch but still feminine, super front construction, good sternum and long keel, sufficient ground clearance, move so well, strong drive from parallel hocks and super front reach & holding her firm topline. BOB

2nd Ashby, Royal Pumpkin Pie At Jaxindorydax, Loved her head, super chiselling under her eyes, good length to muzzle, long neck and well made front. She was unsettled on the move unfortunately.

Class Open (4,1)

1st Rycroft, Jacksondax Hornet Hurrah At Trisensara, Nice boy, head of good shape with length to muzzle, long keel. Stood well with feet well under and excellent sternum. Super strong rear end and used it well showing drive and had parallel hocks. RBOB

2nd Ashby, Rayol Dallas Cowboys At Jaxinorydax good overall shape, loved his head, ears well set, super chiselling under eyes. Well-constructed front with plenty forechest and long keel. Not as clean on the move, a little loose in rear end.

1st Stargang Morrissey For Devondax this puppy has lots of potential, he has the potential to develop into a smashing boy. Lovely head, well set ears and good length and finish to muzzle. Moved well, steady and true with strong hocks. RBOB

Class Open (4,1)

1st Rose, Pennydach Mystique At Rosencrantz, well-made bitch , head conical and ears well set , shoulders laid back and good return of upper arm , carried tail well and showed drive from well-muscled rear quarters. BOB

2nd Ashby, Midlandbulls Willow At Jaxinordax, larger in frame, beautiful head , super chiselling , level topline sand strong rear quarters, was a little unsettled today and this didn’t help her movement.

1st Ellis, Vixendax Venus Starlight, she presents a nice outline on the stack, balanced front and rear angulations. Prominent fore chest and deep keel. Nice proportions to head, well set on ears. Deep through chest. She was steady on the move holding topline, decent jacket. BOB

2nd Healey Vixendax Solstice strong male with gorgeous head, nice chiselling below eyes. Reachy neck, fore chest prominent and deep keel. Not as strong through hocks but a nice dog who has lots of promise. Good furnishings on head.

1st, Vixendax Make Me A Winner, younger bitch, who I really liked, she needs time to mature but has loads of promise, very pretty head . She has all the potential there. Moved well, liked her sassy attitude. RBOB

1st Kilroy, Rozelle Rosalie At Janacop, liked lots about this bitch, conical head, good underjaw, pretty expressions and good furnishings. Correct jacket, strong rear end, moved well with a parallel hocks.

2nd Umfreville , Dogrose Bee of sound mind. What a shame, he wasn’t as happy in the ring today, he has a decent head and good expression. his body was very muscled, another day might be different.

3rd Rose, Merryline Martha With Rosencrantz, gorgeous puppy

1st Do Smarties At Janacop, liked the size of this bitch , really pretty head , chiselling under eyes , good furnishing , well made front , good sternum and long keel . shown in good jacket , moved well with drive.

2nd Barranti Song And Dance with Rosencrantz JW, preferred the head on 1st but still pretty girl with conical head, enough neck and strong through hocks, moved steady.

1st Main, Putjade Perran By Gwyngala , what a lovely puppy , broad head with softest expression and dark eye and good pigmentation , longish muscled neck , nicely laid shoulders and good return of upper arm , good width to second thigh and well turned stifles . Moved well, good front reach and drive, he carried and used his tail correctly. Shown in lovely coat BP and PG2.

2nd Winsor -Williams & Williams, Aurgentious Mena DHU, another decent puppy, preferred the head on 1st, kind expression and well set ears, deep chested and short coupled , good muscle tone and stifles well let down , moved enthusiastically just a little closer behind.

3rd, Winsor -Williams & Williams, Aurgentious Dearov IM,

1st Main, Putjade Perran By Gwyngala repeat of puppy

2nd Barter, maker Tynster Bos, liked his masculine head with soft expression, dark eye and well-set ears, moderate angulations. Would like a tad more neck. Moved on an even stride with good reach in front, held his topline on the move.

3rd Gillan, Grengold Perseus

1st Hurrell, Kadaka Kaos At Gillansgold, mature boy, masculine head, soft expression, deep chest and well ribbed back, good finish to croup and well set tail . Good, neat feet. On the move he was steady and good front reach, just moved a little close behind today. shown in good coat.

Class Open (3)

1st Lewis, Fairwinds In A Space Man JW, quality male, so well balanced on the stack , handsome head with soft expression , good reach of neck , well set shoulders with good length of upper arm , ribs well sprung , short loin . I liked his rear quarters, good width to 2nd thigh and stifles well bent. Movement was free flowing and true. Tail carried and used correctly. A lovely boy, pleased to award him BOB.

2nd Henson, Cinderbank Move it JW, another nice dog, very attractive head with a gorgeous expression with chiselling below eyes, good spring of rib and short loin. Just a little overweight today which affected his movement and topline

Class Puppy Bitch (4)

1st Winsor -Williams & Williams, Aurgentious Ros An Gwel, 8-month bitch with lovely head, sweet expression and well-set ears, mature in body, well sprung ribs, elbows set close to chest, short coupled. Well-muscled rear quarters, moved well with good front reach and drive from behind, just a little proud of tail.

2nd Clunie, Warrentor Abilene, only 6 months but full of promise, really pretty head with soft expression, showing chiselling, good reach of neck and balanced through body, rear quarters are well angulated, good finish to croup and well-set tail. Moved steady and true.

3rd Scuffle & Ennis Van Maren, Ramchaine A Red Red Rose

Class Graduate Bitch (3,1)

1st Collis, Tillsun Mistletoe Promises, balanced bitch with pretty head, good pigmentation, deep through chest and ribbed well back. well-muscled rear quarters and good finish to croup. Moved steady.

2nd Merrick, Warrentor Tourmakeady, Beautiful head with such a pretty expression, chiselling under eyes, preferred front on 1st, well let down stifles with good bone and stands on correct feet. Moved stready.

Class Limit Bitch (4,2)

Two lovely girls in this class

1st May, Cherrygold Storytellen JW, what a balanced picture on the stack, head of lovely proportions, loved her soft expression, good reach of neck sitting into well laid shoulders ,good forechest, ribs deep and well sprung. Rear quarters strong and well angulated. Moved well showing good reach and drive, a quality girl. RBOB

2nd Smyth, kadaka Krumpet, very much liked her as well, different in head, soft expression with good pigmentation, well-constructed front, deep through ribs and short coupled. Rear well angulated and well-muscled. She moved so sound, good side gate and front reach.

Class Open Bitch (4,3)

1st, Predmiestina , Kaflex Adalia Andemavis (IMP UKR) , balanced girl , feminine expression , ears well set. Deep through chest and ribs well sprung. Level topline which she held on the move. Movement was steady and true.

Good Citizen (24, 8)

1st Moreno-Chamorro, Calavey’s Polly Pocket, JRT , what a smart bitch , alert on the stack , flat skull, good stop , good length to neck , sufficient fore chest , well sprung ribs , muscular hindquarters , she had great attitude. Presented and handled really well to win a nice class.

2nd Ch Orangebox a New hope At Itsaso ShCEx , very smart Border Terrier , super head with short strong muzzle, small ears , straight front with racy hindquarters , tail set high . loved her on the move, true and workmanlike.

3rd Gunalt Vettel To Hantzburgh ShCEx , Weimaraner

1st Marshall, Ch Risibully Have You Seen Her With Fergustaff JW, Miniature Bull-Terrier, loved her , what attitude ,she demanded your attention in the ring. Long & strong head, Flat skull and strong underjaw. Great depth of body and well sprung ribs, she was shown in super muscular condition. movement smooth and parallel front and rear, great drive. Well-deserved win.

2nd Stephens, Brightmeadow Rumour Has It JW, so full of breed type, wedge head , angulation front and rear moderate and shown in the best muscular condition. Body covered with a mass of small curls. Moved very true, just needed a bigger ring.

3rd Hampton, Travella Stee A Kiss, Wire Fox Terrier.
