1. Boydell’s Nightwind You Can’t Stop The Beat JW. D. 8 years. Rather imposing, mature and masculine and in top class condition. Head contains dark expressive eyes. Neck into well placed forequarters. Body is deep and well ribbed. Compact body. Secure topline with prominent pin bones. Nicely angulated hindquarters. Ring tail carried well. Moved with style and accuracy. BOB.
2. Hills & Thornton’s Absolute Afghans Djibouti at Karnak JW Sh Ch CEx OSW (Import Norway). Gold. D. 5 years. Balanced head portrays maturity with an oriental expression. Enough neck. Good depth of chest; well ribbed. Strong loins. Proud on the move, he maintains his impressive outline. OK for length of loin and front extension. Well-conditioned and in lovely textured coat. RBOB.

1. Welch & Hazeltine’s Corotine Noir Blossom with Hookwood. 7 ½ months. B. B/W. Particularly appealing head being balanced with definition and she carries it well. Feminine, expressive eyes; good nostrils. Enough neck, muscular loins; good pasterns and sports enough bone. Front to settle; excellent rear drive. BP.

1. Kennedy’s Droveborough Black Magic JW. B. 13 months and she really took my eye. Super B/W coat. Impressive for outline and balance. Well-proportioned ultra feminine head with fine leathers, sports the desired dish, elegant arched neck, firm topline, deep brisket and short couplings. Well laid shoulders. Well balanced forequarters produce an impressive forehand. Nicely angulated rear. Super tail, carried typically. Admired her graceful curves and balanced substance. Super tail. Completely new to me; I loved her. Must have a promising future. BP & BOB.
2. Barnham’s Droveborough Witchy Women JW. Another exciting prospect. B. 13 months L/W and note she is litter sister to 1. Head is beautiful and is worth a second look. Strong lengthy neck leading into well laid shoulders. Perhaps a little rangier overall than her sister but this will come together. Clean front and well angulated hindquarters. Enthusiastic and powerful on the move.

1. Kennedy’s Droveborough Hells Bells JW. 22 months. B. She produces a balanced outline. Appealing feminine head with correct stop and lovely eyes. Her neck being of correct length to balance. Well laid shoulders, clean front and well bodied. Ribs extending back; short loins. On the move she is most impressive.
2. Perren’s Evaluna For Your Eyes Only at Mistin JW. B. Almost 2. Most attractive headpiece with moderate breadth to skull, good stop, expressive eyes. Well set ears. Plenty of depth, strong hindquarters with good bend of stifle. Stands on good feet. Slightly longer cast than 1. Steady mover.

1. Perren’s Evaluna Chasing Rainbows with Hookwood JW. 4 years. B. Strong muscular neck into well laid back shoulders. Straight forelegs, tight elbows. Well sprung ribs and short coupled. Muscular hindquarters with well-developed. Correct tail set. Slightly larger than I prefer. Moved with purpose and drive and could go all day. RBOB.
2. Welsh, Drake and Haziltine’s Clamerkin Jubilee at Hookwood. JW. B. 3 years. I preferred her overall size. Head portrays a kind and bright expression. Impressive through neck and forequarters; deep chest. Correct topline, strong quarters. Correct feet. Not quite the movement of 1. Close call.

1. Beckson’s Wlanimus Marked For Greatness with Tammux (Imp UKR), D. 6 months. Promising. Well balanced and with ideal bone for age. Nice rib cage, high tail set and harsh coat. Good proportions to his head being of balanced strength; good dentition. Pleasing eye and keen expression. Rear movement to settle. BPIB.

1. Saunders Parker & McDonald’s Risepark Style Setter. B. 18 months. Strong head with good muzzle and contains attractive eyes portraying alert expression. Compactly built with good width to ribs and loin. Correct chest. Good for reach of neck and shoulders. Good feet, Sound on the move. BOB
2. Wlanimus’s Jointly To Your Success with Tammux (Imp). 15 months. Silver B. OK for head proportions. Dark eyes give an appealing expression. Correct scissor bite. Balanced body. Would prefer better neck placement. Moved very well. Close call.

1. Edington-Hall’s Ballinger’s Est Ehetiam Novus Angelus Mit Wendaire (Imp UKR) JW. Dog 2 years. Smart young dog clearly coming into his own. Eye catching, well-made and so well balanced for his age. Head is balanced and strong being of ample length and contains dark keen eyes. Strong, well-proportioned forequarters; well placed shoulders and pleasing depth of chest. Short level back and well developed hindquarters. Stands on good legs and feet. True on the move. An exciting prospect. BOB & G2.

Good for muzzle and bite. Firm topline and loin, strong body. Low set hocks. Well-muscled and balanced throughout. On the stand she portrays typical outline. Moved very well. 2. Morley’s Kanawha Spyman. D. 5 years. Showed well, presenting a balanced outline. Tends to stand untidily in front. Dark almond shaped eyes, broad skull, would prefer stop a tad more defined. Strong muzzle and small well-placed ears. OK for reach of neck, well placed shoulders. Moderate angulation front and rear.

1. Redman’s Puddockwell Rocket D. 1 year. Mustard. Head is of a lovely shape being gently domed and containing bright expressive eyes. Good for neck and depth of chest. Sturdy legs on good feet, super top-line with gentle curve. He is very confident on the move; hind movement to settle. A promising youngster. BOB.

1. Peakin & Breton’s Velvet Du Manoir Saint Adrian with Byzantime (Imp France). B. 12 months. Well-made youngster but would not wish any more body weight. Excellent coat. She has a very attractive feminine head, with strength and length. Clean well placed neck. Square in outline on the stand and holds a secure topline. Liked her angulations. She moved confidently, with style carrying her tail correctly.

1. Peakins Ch Ubble Du Manor Saint Adrian at Byzantime (Imp France). D. 2 years. From the offset I admired his balance, proportions and shapely outline. Super coat and colour. He combines masculinity with elegance. Clean head contains dark expressive eyes. Well set neck. Secure topline and well held tail. Extremely fit and strong his movement was stunning. BOB G1 & RBIS.

1. Crook’s Travella Strike A Deal, 6 months. D. A raw baby attending his first show. Sympathetically handled and throughout the class he gained confidence. Of a pleasing shape. Head proportions are correct. Dark eyes. Good bite. Ears began to settle. Hindquarters have well placed hocks. Coat will shortly require some tidying. BP & BOB.

1. Webb & Rowe’s Kenleap Holly Brook At Nutjacks. 19 months. B. Feminine of balanced bone and substance. Lovely head which is of good shape and proportions and contains dark eyes; well set ears. Clean front; Well laid shoulders. Well bodied and spanned easily. Hindquarters are well angulated; well-set tail. Short, flat, close-fitting coat. Moved soundly. BOB and Reserve Best Special Beginners In Show.

1. Webb & Rowe’s Kenleap Juniper Lake at Nutjacks. B. 19 months. Litter sister to Special Yearling Class winner and naturally similar. Lots to like and same comments apply save that she was not as settled as her sister on the move.

Nicely shaped eyes and neat ears. Good reach of neck set in a well laid shoulders. Body is well ribbed. Secure strong topline held on the move. When settled she moved very well.
