Colne Nelson & District Canine Society

Spaniel (Cocker)

Puppy

1st Wilanorah Sat'day Nite Diva (Mrs D & Mr A Bayliss) loved the attitude of this young bitch, compact with good body and depth, correct tail set and a merry action that never stopped, head still needs to develop, won this class on her maturity and ground covering movement, BP

2nd Sandaby's Miss Bossy Boots (B Pendlebury) another promising young bitch, has a lovely head and expression, silky flat coat but not as mature in body, and was let down by her movement today.

3rd Wilanorah Celestial (Mrs D & Mr A Bayliss)

Limit

1st Wilanorah We Will Rock You JW (Mrs D & Mr A Bayliss) this young dog has that look at me character, liked his head and dark expressive eye, good depth and spring of rib, shown in good coat and hard condition, moved with such drive and correct tail action, BOB

2nd Chataway New Beginning at Sandabys (B Pendlebury) loved her head and soft expression, good coat and condition, not the depth of chest and maturity of my winner but she has plenty of time on her side, not as positive on the move.

Open

1st Annaside Lets Dance (Mrs S Walton) mature handsome dog with a lovely chiselled head and expression, clean balanced outline and soft silky coat, moved with drive and his tail never stopped, shown and handled well.

2nd Shirepark Sir Francis Drake by Wilanorah JW (Mrs D & Mr A Bayliss) masculine young dog that made his handler work hard for this place, compact and strong in body, shown in hard condition, just needs to listen and settle on the move, plenty of drive from the rear.

3rd Rockllocers Coconut Husk at Sandabys (Miss K Pendlebury)

Spaniel (American Cocker)

Puppy

1st Amiericlass Dita von Part (Mrs G Clay) BP

2nd Americlass Hollywood Parti (Mrs G Clay) litter mates at their first party, two promising puppies that behaved well in the cold windy weather, both have lovely head and expressions, good bone and soft coats, just felt the bitch was more mature and had better depth and body but her brother was more settled on the move. Well presented.

Junior

1st Dreamcast Elysium at Carolco (Mrs C Fryer) Very smart young bitch that was beautifully presented, feminine head and soft expression with a kind dark eyes, good body and depth for her age, moved effortlessly around the ring.

2nd Jaclee High Society Americlass (Miss Carly Beet) sweet feminine head and expression, nice dark eye, good body for her age, not as positive on the move and needs to tighten up along her topline.

Open

1st Sh Ch Fonesse Dirty Dancing at Carolco ShCEx (Mrs C Fryer) a mature worthy champion, exquisite head and expression, but masculine. Long clean, arched neck into mature and well-muscled body and hindquarters, which really showed when he moved around the ring, covering the ground effortlessly and holding his topline, well-presented and handled, BOB.

Retriever (Curley Coated)

Limit

1st Rowancurl Pullman Porter (Mrs Vc & Mr Km Dooley) smart dog with good depth of rib and strong body, good bone and feet, nice head but would prefer a darker eye. He has good coat but was let down by his movement, just couldn’t match the reach and drive of my open winner.

Open

1st Ravenho Tallow Tango at Pattonia (Miss F M & Mrs P Valentine) upstanding young male, like his head and dark eye, good depth of rib and strong in bone and body with a good covering of tight curls, took him a bit to settle on the move but had the power and elegance as he moved around the ring. BOB

Retriever (Chesapeake Bay)

Open

1st Sh Ch Oakmarsh Dancing Diva VW (Miss C A Pont) BOB

2nd Sh Ch Chesepi Waco (Mr D N Rigby)

It was a pleasure to go over these two worthy champions, both shown in excellent hard condition which showed in their powerful and effortless movement, they are well balanced with that distinct coat. I just preferred the head balance and harsh oily coat of my winner today.
