Pointer

Puppy (3,2)

1st Kennedy’s Droveborough Black Magic

A well-developed 10-month-old black and white bitch who stood alone in the class but was a very worthy winner. She presented a series of graceful curves, with a well-defined, feminine head flowing into a clean, elegant neck and well-laid shoulders. Her outline was classic and balanced, with a topline that flowed seamlessly into a correctly set tail, which was carried and used beautifully on the move, lashing from side to side. She moved with ease and freedom, holding her shape well and showing both style and promise. An absolute joy to watch, and a pleasure to award Best Puppy.

Junior (1,0)

1st Kennedy’s Droveborough’s Hells Bells

A quality 17-month-old liver and white bitch, another lovely example from this kennel. She was a pleasure to watch on the move, with fluid action and a characteristic lashing tail that never stopped. She has a kind, well-shaped eye, is well ribbed, and stands on neat, oval feet. Still needs a little time to fully finish, but all the essentials are in place for a promising future.

Post Graduate (10,2)

1st Welch’s Hookwood Starman JW

A strong, well-developed Black & White male with exceptional bone and substance. He carries a powerful, masculine head with good breadth and strength without coarseness. His overall frame is balanced and athletic, showing plenty of power. A dog of real presence, with the foundations of a mature, classic Pointer.

2nd Wilcox’s Harvestslade Fire and Ice through Merynjen JW

A 20-month-old Orange & White male who is still maturing but shows promise. He has a pleasing head with a soft, typical expression. Muscle development is good for his age, though he is lighter in frame compared to the winner. With time, he should fill out and develop greater substance, maintaining his balanced outline.

Open (6,3)

1st Welch’s Clamerkin Jubilee Surprise at Hookwood JW

A 2.5-year-old black and white bitch who moved positively with purpose and drive. She shows well-sprung ribs, an elegant neck flowing into a strong topline, and stands on good, well-arched feet. A balanced and confident example of the breed. Pleased to award her BOB

2nd Perren’s Evaluna Chasing Rainbows with Hookwood JW

A mature and well-developed Blac & White bitch with good overall balance and substance. She is well muscled throughout and shows a deep brisket, enhancing her strong outline. She carries a well-set tail, straight off her back, which she used effectively on the move. A worthy Reserve Best of Breed and a strong contender in this class.
