Miniature Bull Terriers

VETERAN DOG/BITCH

Harper’s CHATTANOOBA CHOO CHOO AEDESTAURUM – A solid red dog just shy of nine years with excellent substance, particularly for his age. He has a long head with a well-turned profile and very good fill, giving him an excellent expression, though his mouth is just slightly off. He moves with drive, showing parallel movement coming and a little close going. Presented in superb condition. BEST VETERAN IN BREED

Kocaba’s A MINI RUMPUS IM LIKKLE ELLE – A 7½-year-old brindle and white bitch. She has a pleasing profile and a correct bite. Her shoulders are adequate, complemented by a good bend of stifle. She moved well both coming and going, maintaining her topline throughout.

Harrison’s JENKIR KALLISTO.

MINOR PUPPY DOG

Gray’s BADLESMERE BEST OF BRITISH at SEAQUEST – A tricolour 7-month-old terrier type puppy, very much a youngster. He has a long, well-filled head with a perfect bite. He shows flowing body lines, though a little upright in front with nicely angled stifles behind. Still needing to fill his frame, his best is very much yet to come.

Scott, Thompson & Pentecost’s OAKFAYRE’S RED FLAGS – This youngster was somewhat out of sorts on the day and was not entirely cooperative when having his teeth examined or when asked to move for his handler therefore I was not able to reward him higher. Nevertheless, there is much to like about him. He has a strong head with good ear placement and a cobby, well-muscled body that gives a mature impression. With a more settled attitude and improved cooperation, he should be able to show himself to much better advantage.

PUPPY DOG

Marshallsay’s FERGUSTAFF KRAKEN – An excellent quality almost nine month old white dog with black brindle head markings. He has a long, well-filled head with a strong muzzle; his bite is acceptable, he has small, well-placed eyes. He is well put together, with a long neck, though his shoulders are somewhat forward. He carries strong, round bone with adequate hind angulation, is short-coupled and has a strong second thigh. He was unfortunate to miss out on Best Puppy Dog, as a mature puppy in the Limit Dog class was overlooked by the stewards.

Bull’s BRIGHTWING COMMANDER VENTURESOME at STABLANCAA (IMP UKR) – A mature-looking white dog of 10 months. He has a short head with a pleasing profile, makes good use of his ears and has a slightly undershot mouth. His shoulders are adequate and he has strong, well-bent stifles. He moved parallel coming, though going his hocks had a tendency to converge.

Thompson & Pentecost’s OAKFAYRE’S RISKY BUSINESS.

JUNIOR DOG

Phillips’s RASELS BULL TIMOTEI of BULLYON (IMP SVK) – A cobby white dog with a beautiful head, showing good turn and fill, complemented by small, well-placed ears and tiny, piercing eyes. Bite acceptable. He has nice substance throughout with adequate shoulders, though a little short in upper arm. He is well made behind, with an excellent bend of stifle and a muscular second thigh. He moves parallel, showing a slight dip in topline on the move, but covers the ground with drive. RESERVE CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE DOG

POST GRADUATE DOG

Wardle’s TOPASBULLY LUBOMIR at ARCANUM – A brindle and white dog with a decent head and a pleasing expression when he uses his ears, he has correct incisors. He has good substance throughout with well-laid shoulders, although a little short in upper arm and compact feet. He tends to stand somewhat hunched. On the move, he covers the ground in parallel strides, though without great drive.

LIMIT DOG

Martin, Mackie & Kosovets’s SALVUSLINE AGAINST ALL ODDS with ARIBAX – A quality brindle and white dog. He has a pleasant head with a sweeping profile and excellent fill with correct incisors. He has strong bone and super substance with a decent front assembly, though perhaps a shade long cast. He is particularly strong behind with excellent quarters. He moved a little wide coming and close going, but covered the ground with ease. Was in the final contention for consideration of top honours so easily won BEST PUPPY IN BREED

Wilson’s PIXELITED BLACK EMPEROR – A tall black brindle and white dog. He has a long head which would benefit from a little more fill, he has excellent ear set and correct incisors. He carries a long neck and has straight front legs. He moved parallel coming, though going he showed a tendency to turn his hocks in. A happy, willing temperament.

OPEN DOG

Lambert’s VATAHA HOCUS POCUS at CALIBER – A strongly built masculine brindle and white dog. He has a powerful, long head with adequate fill and a wide muzzle with well-placed ears (when used). Dentition acceptable with a nice underjaw. He is a substantial dog with a thick neck, decent angulations, a strong second thigh and compact feet. Overall, a quality dog that was well presented on the day. CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE DOG & BEST OPPOSITE SEX

Marshallsay’s SALVUSLINE WINTERFELL with FERGUSTAFF – A white dog with a black ear. He has a long, well-filled head with a gentle profile. He has decent shoulders, a level topline and an excellent bend of stifle. He moved parallel going, though a little wide coming. Immaculately presented throughout.

MINOR PUPPY BITCH

Campbell’s BADLESMERE BESTIL DAYLIGHT – A small black and tan, seven-month-old terrier-type puppy. She has a nicely turned profile and correct incisors. She is somewhat steep in shoulder and short-backed with tight feet and well-angled quarters. Still very much a baby and needs time to mature and develop.

PUPPY BITCH

Pullen’s FERGUSTAFF FALLEN ANGEL to RAZORSEDGE – A small, compact black brindle and white bitch, almost nine months old. She has a pleasing profile with adequate fill and correct incisors. She carries excellent substance for her size with a level topline, though she has a tendency to carry her tail a little high. She moved parallel both coming and going.

Harper’s PIXELITED BLACK DIAMONDS at OLYMPUSBULLYS – An 11-month-old terrier-type, black brindle and white bitch. She has a long head with a gentle profile, though she would benefit from a little more fill. She has a correct bite, alert expression and well-placed ears. Short-coupled with decent angulation, she has a tendency to carry her tail a little high. She moved well.

Peak & Sahin’s WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED

JUNIOR BITCH

Jowers’s CLANSMANN MAGIC CHARM – A small tricolour bitch with plenty of bone and substance. She has a short, powerful head with excellent fill and correct incisors. Strongly built throughout, she has adequate shoulders but is a little short in upper arm causing her to be a little stuffy in the neck, tight feet, a level topline, and well-muscled hindquarters. She moved parallel with good drive. RESERVE CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE BITCH

Mathison’s JAVARKE WEE WONDER at BLAZINBULLYS – A brindle and white terrier-type bitch, standing well up on the leg. She has a long, sweeping head with a lovely profile, though she would benefit from a little more strength in the muzzle. She has an alert expression, her bite is off. She moved well both ways.

Peak & Sahin’s WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED

POST GRADUATE BITCH

Kocaba’s WALKIRIE DOGS NANGA at AMINIRUMPUS – A brindle and white bitch with an adequate profile and sufficient fill, and a perfect bite. She has excellent substance, with a level topline. She would benefit from a little more layback of shoulder, which would help to shorten the appearance of her back. She moved with a happy, jaunty air.

LIMIT BITCH

Thompson & Pentecost’s OAKFAYRE’S WHIPLASH WEASEL JW – A lovely small white bitch. She has a short, well-filled head and a correct bite with well-used ears and a kind expression. Compact in build with decent angulations, she moved parallel, though she tended to lose her topline on the move. Beautifully presented throughout.

Hull’s RISIBULLY MY KIND OF GIRL – A lovely tricolour bitch with a sweeping profile and a well-filled head, complemented by well-placed ears, though she does not always use them to advantage. She has a perfect bite and nice substance throughout. She has a tendency to stand slightly roached rather than presenting herself to best effect. She moved with good drive.

OPEN BITCH

Harrison’s JENKIR HERA – A small, quality, typy and feminine tricolour bitch. She has a sweeping head with good fill and muzzle strength with excellent eye and ear placement giving a very pleasing expression. Dentition correct. Balanced girl with the best front assembly of the day, with well-laid shoulders and the correct length of humerus, tight feet, loose topline. Behind, she has excellent angulation. She moved parallel both coming and going. Beautifully presented throughout. CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE BITCH & BEST OF BREED
