JUNIOR

1 Trickett’s TOLLPEPPER CELTIC ZEPHYR Nice type with plenty of potential. Muzzle tapers from rounded skull giving the correct wedge shape. Tight lips. Medium size ears, Straight front with tight feet and elbows close in. Strong neck. Balanced angulation front and rear. Level topline and tail carriage standing and on move, In good correct coat well feathered tail. Good reach and drive on the move

2 Greenwood’s COEDHELYG AS GOOD AS IT GETS Slightly longer cast than winner. Slightly finer all over especially muzzle, skull and bone but still and balance correct shape. Straight front with good front angulation, reasonable rear. Tendency to stand a little bum high which impacted topline, but sound on the move. Well arched feet.

3 Hipkiss’s DELTANDAMBA GO WEST Correct wedge shaped head with rounded skull with slightly higher set medium ears. Strong neck. Another bum high when standing which dipped the topline. Would prefer slightly rounder, tighter feet. Straight front with reasonable angulation front and rear. Chest needs to develop. Moved OK.

 POST GRAD

1 Gray’s DELPHOX GUISER Lovely type. Balanced. Correct proportions to muzzle and skull, High set medium size ears. Strong neck. Good bone. Deep chested. Straight front with tight elbows Level topline. Moderate angulation front and rear. Moved straight and true. Excellent coat.

2 Collins & Powley’s DANEHAVEN DEEKS Heavier head than winner, with slightly longer muzzle, but finer boned overall. Shorter in body but level topline. Adequate angulation front and rear. Moved soundly.

3   Darlington-Knight & Knowles ARTHUNDUR NEW BEGINNINGS Pressed hard for 2nd, would have preferred and little more stifle angulation. Head shape and proportions correct wedge with moderate stop and neat ears. Deep chested with level topline. Moved well.

OPEN

1 Byrne’s ACADIABYRNE TIBETANCORAL OF QUACKKANOVA A lovely class to judge and found a most typical NSDTR as my winner. All the right things in the right places. Wedge shaped head, with broad, rounded skull, Ears set high and well back. Squarish outline. Equal body to leg proportion. Level topline and correct croup. Sturdy bone. Strong moderate and muscular neck Well arched tight round feet. Straight front with good angulation front and rear. Round tight feet. Double coat in great condition. Solid straight movement.

2 Elkin’s CH TOLLELKIN CAIFE AMERICANO (SGWC SHCEX) Many of the attributes of the winner, but head shape and skull slightly less defined. Deep chested, straight front with good angulation front and rear. Strong neck. Topline slightly roached in the stand which affected the croup Good coat. Moved correctly.

3 Westwood’s EUSANIT PEAKY BLINDER Smaller shorter-cast male with deep chest. Muzzle equal the length of skull, ears slightly low set. Slightly shorter in neck than others.Straight front with solid bone. Level topline. Correct angulation fore and aft. Tight, well arched feet. Deep coloured double coat.
