1st: 5952 GREGORY, Mrs A & Mr J Deltandamba Go West

Upstanding young man who scored in overall outline and balance with balanced angles front and rear. His head is well proportioned and of a good shape, masculine with well set on ears. Clean in neck into well laid-back shoulders, good return of forearm and standing on good legs. Body well-proportioned and quarters with stifles well bent. Needs to fill his frame which he should do as he matures. Moved out will with good action just needs to tighten in elbow.

2nd: 5979 PICKARD, Miss Emma & SWAIN, Mr Jacob Arthundur Red Viper

I like this boy for breed type, today he was just a little soft in topline. His head is typical and good overall shape. His shoulders are well laid back, he has depth to his chest, a good spring of rib and firm loin. Quarters well developed with stifles well bent. Moved well in profile and fore and aft.

1st: 5966 LASHLY, Mrs Sophie & LASHLY, Mr Craig Tollisty Thrymheim

Lovely youngster who is just 8 months old, he has good overall proportions body to leg. I liked his headpiece, good wedge shape, moderate stop and nicely rounded skull. Ears set on well and good almond shaped eyes. Moderate neck in to well set shoulders, good straight legs on him, super round feet. Body well made, good depth for his age, needs to strengthen in rear. When he settled I could see good accurate movement.

2nd: 5929 BULE, Miss Lasma Red Pepper Toller Victory Via Dreambig (imp Ita)

Another 8 month old youngster, pleasing type. His head is typical and a good overall shape. His shoulders are well laid back, he has depth to his chest, a good spring of rib and firm loin. Quarters well developed with stifles well bent. Moved well in profile but was a bit untidy fore and aft. Carrying a heavy coat which spoilt his outline a little.

1st: 5965 JONES, Miss Robyn Leigh Coedhelyg As Good As It Gets

Lots to like about this young man, very much at the growing stage at the moment and has clearly shot up on leg, but everything is in the right place. Head good, wedge shaped, eyes almond and ears set on correctly. Moderate in neck, well-laid shoulders and decent return of upper arm. Body well made of good proportions, needs to fill his frame, quarters are developing nicely. Moved out well with enthusiasm. Best Puppy Dog.

2nd: 5920 BAKER, Mr Charles Breakerswell Baker's Boy

Unplaced in special beginners, this young man had settled in this class and found out how his feet worked, much better on the move here. He and his handler are still learning their jobs in the show ring but doing a grand job. All the basics are in the right place, pleasing head and expression, neck clean and a good lay back to his shoulders. Needs a bit more body and to fill his frame and some practice on the move to get the finesse needed in the ring.

1st: 6017 TRICKETT, Mrs Judith & O'CONNOR, Miss Elise Tollpepper Celtic Zephyr - RCC

I liked this youngster, he won a stakes class under me as a puppy, now just 13 months and progressing in all the right directions, very good type about him. His head is wedge shaped and well proportioned; he has a lovely kind eye. Shoulders well set. Stands on good straight legs and elbows close to body. Good depth of chest for his age, a shade long in loin. Well-made quarters with stifles well bent. Moved out very well with a jaunty action to take this class and later the RCC in some strong competition, one for the future I suspect, I was told afterward he was the son of my CC winner.

2nd: 5998 JENKINS, Mrs Amy Tollelkin Villevenard Of Whistlefire

This chap was just coming up to 16 months old, head is well proportioned but not quite the shape of the winner. good eye shape and ears set on well. Good through the neck, shoulders well placed, enough return of forearm. Legs well boned and good feet. Body well made, ribs have spring, he just needs to fill his frame which he will do as he matures, held his level topline throughout. Quarters developing nicely. Moved well in profile.

21 months and a lot to like about this young man, well made masculine dog, I would like a shade more length of leg to balance him out. Typical head with good ears and masculine expression. Shoulders are well laid, good depth of chest, would like him a shade tighter in elbow. Balanced angulation, depth to chest, firm in topline and tail set on well. In super coat and condition. Super side gait on him to take this class.

What a fabulous class this was, some really super dogs to go over, I was really spoilt for choice. These were my placings on the day, but I can see these boys changing places many times in the future. Thank you for bringing all of them.

1st: 5988 SALMON, Miss Jennifer Acadiabyrne Tibetan Coral Of Quackanova

Upstanding chap, he has good overall type. Good front assembly, shoulders well laid back and a decent return of upper arm, would like him a little firmer in topline. Good body proportions, ribs well sprung and firm in loin. Quarters well made with well bent stifles. Carries a really good coat, great texture to it. Moved out well with a good action. Preferred his head piece to that of the second placed dog.

2nd: 5975 PARR, Mrs Sally Very Much Kymin Of Great Pleasure (imp Bel)

Close decision with the first, I thought this chap was well put together but not quite as typical in head as the winner. He is a well made dog with super front constructions, shoulders are well laid back and has a good return of upper arm, depth to chest and well made in body with good spring to his ribs, firm in loin. Quarters well developed with stifles well bent. Was very sound on the move with a typical action.

1st: 5941 ELKIN, Miss M L Ch Tollelkin Caife Americano Sgwc Shcex – CC

One that I have judged a few times since he was a baby puppy. This seven year old boy was right on form today and was everything I was looking for, very smart in outline with a good length of leg and balanced proportions. Masculine in head, good shape and a super expression, well placed ears. Strong in neck, his shoulders are well set. He stands on good legs and tight feet. Good depth to chest and corresponding spring of rib. Well-developed quarters, stifles well bent, and hocks well let down. In super muscular condition, totally fit for function. On the move he had super footfall and tail carriage. He covered the ground with ease with that typical jaunty action I was looking for. I was pleased to award him Dog CC and later Best of Breed and Best Veteran

2nd: 5997 JENKINS, Mrs Amy & JENKINS, Mr Jack Sh Ch Tollisty Moet En Chandon JW

I liked his overall balance, 4 years old and very together for his age. Well-proportioned head of good wedge shape, pleasing eye shape, well set ears. Strong through the neck, shoulders well placed would just like a little more upper arm. Body of good proportions, ribs are well sprung. Excellent quarters with a good bend of stifle. Good movement in profile, not quite the rear action of the winner but has good jaunty action on the move, with plenty of drive. He has a super double coat. He pushed the winner all the way and was close up for the RCC.

1st: 5925 OSCROFT, Mr Joseph Sinsircariad Dragon Fruit

A lovely puppy with lots of bounce and clearly enjoying herself, which was good to see. He head is developing nicely, good wedge shape and ears set on well, should finish a very pretty lady. Clean in neck in to well set shoulders, standing on strong legs and super feet. Body proportions right for her age. Held her topline throughout. Quarters have good angles and a good bend of stifle, needs to develop in quarters which she should do as she matures. Moved out well. Delighted to later make her Best Puppy, good luck with her.

2nd: 5993 SEWELL, Mrs D Breakerswell Twiglet

This lady had a feminine head and expression, would like a better eye shape but of good colour, neat ears. Good through the neck, decent front assembly but needs her feet to tighten a little. Good depth of chest for her age, firm through the loin, needs to drop in to her quarters as she can stand a little high, moved out well with a steady action but would like her tidier as she comes towards me. Just needs to develop and mature a little and she should finish a tidy bitch.
