Thank you to the committee for my invitation to judge and award cc’s in my breed for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and was well looked after by Kathy, my very efficient steward who kept everything running smoothly. I was delighted to hear that my best puppy went on to get reserve best puppy in show and my best junior got group 2 in the utility group, as did my best veteran. Special Beginners Dog (2,0) Francis’s Ethelsmead Friendly Ghost, 10 months old, Black and white. Loved his cheeky expression and broad round head. Large dark round eyes spaced well apart, nose well placed and of good length, excellent width to muzzle and good dentition. I liked his shape and overall balance, he has good bone, well placed shoulders with elbows tight into a rounded ribcage of good length. He had a correctly set tail carried high and in balance with his head. A nicely put together dog that moved with ease. BSBIB Shulver’s Shidizzle Star of Crimsonleash, 17 month old, Gold and white. Head of good size and dark eyes spaced well apart. Good bone and substance throughout with broad chest and good width to ribcage. Beautifully presented and well handled Veteran Dog (2,1) Fairley’s Ch Senousi Dressed For It By Fairmere 7yo Gold and White. He has a lovely head with a melting soft expression, large round dark eyes spaced well apart, nose of correct length and placement with a slight tilt. Muzzle well padded and with good width. Well laid shoulders, broad chest and well sprung ribcage with good length. Rear well angulated. A lovely size and overall shape with a well set tail carried high. Moved correctly. BVIB Minor Puppy Dog (2,1) Tameron’s Mr Amouage, 8 months old, Gold and White. Stunning masculine head, muzzle of excellent width and so well padded. Good dentition and chin. Darkest of eyes spaced well apart. A very well-made boy with a correct lay of shoulder and rear angulation, level topline, broad chest and good width to ribcage. Correct tail set carried high. Moved effortlessly around the ring with his head held high, full of self-importance! BPIB Puppy Dog (3,1) Francis’s Ethelsmead Friendly Ghost, 10 months old, Black and White. Large, well-rounded head with dark, round eyes. Large, dark nose with wide, open nostrils. Broad chest, good width to ribcage and ample bone. Junior Dog (4,0) Crossley’s Santosha Storm Shadow, 15-month-old Gold and White. Lovely head and expression with correctly shaped dark round eyes. Well-placed nose of good length gave him a lovely masculine expression. Well-made quality boy with correct lay of shoulder and rear angulation, level topline, good width throughout, and lovely head to tail balance. Slightly unsure on the table, but he comes alive on the move with excellent reach and drive. BJIB Nortan’s Rottshihpa’s Magnificent Madness (Imp Nor), 17 months Gold and White. Lovely head and expression. Good width to mouth and good dentition. A well-made front, broad chest, and good width throughout. Limit Dog (4,1) Spooner’s Ethelsmead Bak To The Future of Chanikos, 4yo Black and White. Full of breed type throughout. Lovely broad, well-rounded head with dark round eyes spaced well apart. Correctly placed nose gave a lovely masculine cheeky expression. Good width to muzzle and excellent dentition with correct bite. Chest broad and deep with ribs well sprung and of good length. Correctly placed shoulders giving good length to neck and balanced rear angulation. Tail set on high gave a balanced outline. Herring and Bakers Matsonic Bright Spirit At Quingshui, 2yo solid gold. Broad, well-rounded head with dark round eyes. Good width to muzzle and well-placed large nose gave him the most captivating expression. Loved his well-sprung rib cage giving him good width throughout and correct rear drive on the move. Immaculately presented. Open dog (6,0) 1). Brown, Brown and Iley’s Hin Chen’s Mount Everest JW (Imp Nor) 2yo Gold and white. Broad, well-rounded head of good size. Dark eyes spaced well apart, good width to muzzle, and well-placed nose gave him a lovely masculine expression. I liked his overall size, shape, bone, substance, and head-to-tail balance. Well-placed shoulders gave him a good length of beautifully arched neck to carry his head proudly. Lovely deep chest and well-sprung ribs extending well back. Well-angulated rear with a correct tail set meant he carried his tail well over his back. Moved correctly with good reach and drive DCC 2) Howard’s Ch Tameron Mr Penhaligon’s 2yo Gold and white. A beautifully put-together dog whose excellent conformation shows in his effortless, powerful movement. Head broad and rounded, good width to muzzle, and excellent dentition. Dark eyes spaced well apart, and I loved his tip-tilted nose placement, which gave him an arrogant expression. Good layback of shoulders gave him a nicely arched neck with length to carry his head proudly. Good width throughout and well-sprung rib cage extending well back. Strong, well-angulated rear RDCC Good Citizen Dog (1,0) Tod’s Ethelsmead Half A Sixpence At Kengai 2yo Gold and White. Broad head with dark, round eyes. Good width to muzzle and good dentition. Good forechest and ample bone Special Beginners Bitch (1,0) Tullett’s Sassyshi so Beautiful, 14-month-old Gold and white. Head of good size, broad and well-rounded. Good width to muzzle, dark round eyes spaced well apart. Perfectly placed nose of excellent length with a slight up tilt gave her a beautiful ultra-feminine expression. Well-made front and rear and good width through her chest, just needs to develop in the rib a little. A little unsure on the move today but looked to her handler for reassurance, she moved with good drive and was presented immaculately, her coat looks fantastic. Veteran Bitch (3,1) Sweeney’s Senousi Caress in a dress, 7yo Gold and White. Large, well-rounded head, dark round eyes placed well apart. Good dentition and width to muzzle. Liked her overall size, shape, and head-to-tail balance. Good length to ribcage with a firm level topline. Moved out well. Yorke and Keree-Bartalo’s Ch Middletune Flame of Gold, 8yo Solid gold with a black muzzle. Broad, well-rounded head of correct proportions. Loved her glistening dark eyes giving her a mischievous expression. She had good width throughout, excellent spring of rib, lovely head-to-tail balance, and ring presence in abundance. Minor Puppy Bitch (5,1) 1) Goodwin’s Tameron Miss Faubourg at Cabbala, 8-month-old Gold and white. Pretty, ultra-feminine head with a glint of naughtiness in her dark round eyes. Loved her overall shape and balance, good length to a well-rounded ribcage, and beautifully angulated rear meant she moved with excellent drive. 2) Yorke and Keree-Bartolo’s Middletune Ribbons of Fire, 7-month-old solid gold. Very pretty with an enchanting expression. Dark round eyes, and good width to muzzle with excellent dentition. I liked her overall shape and balance; she had good width throughout and good bone. Puppy Bitch (4,0) 1) Sullivan’s Jaquinta Moonlight Shadow, 9-month-old solid black. An impressive, eye-catching puppy. Well-developed head of correct shape and size, darkest round eyes showing no white. Well-placed nose of correct length. Good width to well-padded muzzle and excellent dentition. Correctly laid shoulders gave her a lovely arch to her neck of good length, so she carries her head high. An extremely well-developed chest and ribcage for her age, extending well back. Loved her overall shape, width throughout, and head to tail balance. Moved around the ring with ease. BPB 2) Yorke and Keree-Bartolo’s Middletune Ribbons of Fire, 7-month-old solid gold. Very pretty with an enchanting expression. Dark round eyes, and good width to muzzle with excellent dentition. I liked her overall shape and balance; she had good width throughout and good bone. Junior Bitch (3,1) Goodwin’s Cutting it For Cabbala, 13-month-old gold and white. A larger type but with correct overall dimensions. Well-dressed head with excellent pigmentation, dark eyes spaced well apart, and good width to muzzle with correct dentition. Excellent, well-developed forechest and ribcage. Beautifully angulated rear meant she covered the ground with ease on the move. Tullett’s Sassyshi so Beautiful, 14-month Gold and white. Head of good size, broad and well-rounded. Good width to muzzle, dark round eyes spaced well apart. Perfectly placed nose of excellent length with a slight up tilt gave her a beautiful ultra-feminine expression. Well-made front and rear and good width through her chest, just needs to develop in the rib a little. Graduate Bitch (3,1) Tod’s Ethelsmead Hocus Pocus To Kengai, 22-month-old Gold and white. A very pleasing bitch to go over. Head broad and well-rounded, eyes dark, round and set well apart. Nose of correct size and length, well placed to give a lovely feminine expression. Shoulders are well laid giving a lovely arch to the neck. Broad chest and good spring of ribs extending well back to give her correct overall shape. Firm level topline. Well-made rear assembly and tail carried high gave her lovely balance. Good muscle tone and bone throughout. She still needs to gain in confidence to reach her full potential but on the stack she demands full attention RBCC Diffey’s Marhilway Little Bit of Edge, 13-month Gold and white. Larger than my winner but with good bone and width throughout. Good-sized head with dark eyes spaced well apart, good width to muzzle. Broad chest and well ribbed up. Tail carried high Post Graduate Bitch (4,1) Rutter’s Ethelsmead Love Kennedy, 2-year-old Gold and white. A lovely bitch of good size and overall proportions. Lovely broad head and cheeky expression, dark round eyes set well apart. Short muzzle of good width, level lips and good chin. Excellent width throughout, correct front and rear assembly and loved her high tail carriage. Moved well enough to win her class but decided that was all she was prepared to give her mum today. Beer’s Miracey Miss Holly Berry, 20-month-old Gold and white. A pretty bitch who filled my eye for breed type with her size, shape, and width throughout. Head well rounded and dark round eyes spaced wide apart. Correctly placed nose of good length and good width to muzzle. Well-laid shoulders, broad chest, and well-sprung rib cage extending well back. Correct movement with good drive. Limit Bitch (5,1) 1) Thornton’s Norboo Bella Rose, 3-year-old solid gold. Very pretty bitch with lovely dark round eyes set well apart, giving a lovely typical Shih Tzu expression. Correct nose placement and good width to muzzle. Loved her reach of neck, broad chest, and spring of rib with excellent level topline. She had lovely width throughout and good bone. 2) Hey’s Lindatzu Truly Scrumptious, 4-year-old Gold and white. Head broad and nicely rounded with dark eyes set well apart. Shoulders very well laid, giving her an excellent forechest and nicely arched neck. She has a well-sprung ribcage and good bone. Open Bitch (5,1) Sweeneys Ch Senousi Love The Dress, 7-year-old Gold and White. She just commands attention, and it’s hard to take your eyes off her. Beautifully made bitch, her head large, well-rounded, and so correct in expression, she just melts you. Well-padded muzzle with excellent width and dentition. Nose of correct length and tip tilted. Dark round eyes spaced well apart. Her head is carried high at all times on a beautifully arched neck into her well-laid shoulders. A deep broad chest and excellent spring of rib extending well back to give her a typical Shih Tzu outline. Her well-angulated rear gives her effortless drive on the move, pushing her legs out behind her. Her tail is set on high and gives her a lovely overall outline both stacked and on the move. Beautifully presented. BCC BOB Scott’s Honeyshuchun Sand Goddess, 4-year-old Gold and White. Broad, well-rounded head of correct size. Dark, round eyes spaced well apart. Good width to muzzle and excellent dentition. Shoulders well laid, giving good length to a nicely arched neck, excellent forechest, and good length to well-sprung ribcage. Nicely angulated rear and with good width throughout. Moved with reach and powerful drive but not 100% at ease today. Good Citizen Bitch (3,1) 1)Yorke and Keree-Bartalo’s Ch Middletune Flame of Gold, 8yo Solid gold with black muzzle. Broad, well-rounded head of correct proportions. Loved her glistening dark eyes, giving her a mischievous expression. She had good width throughout, excellent spring of rib, lovely head to tail balance, and ring presence in abundance. 2) Wiles’s Middletune Chantilly Lace, 4yo Solid gold. A finer, very pretty bitch that is nicely put together with a good topline. She has lovely head to tail balance and moves with purpose. Her beautiful coat is immaculately presented and she was handled beautifully.
