Well done to Border Union Agricultural Championship Show for holding such a smooth running show.


The quality of the Best of Breed winners was very high. Thank you to the breed judges.


I shortlisted the following for further consideration as well as the Four placed dogs. The Bernese Mountain Dog – Ch Valentinn vom Durrbachler Wald, the Dobermann- Krieger’s Limelight JW, the Rottweiler-Ausrie’s Jabba The Hut and the Siberian Husky – Ch Penkhalas Kaska.


Group 1 to the fabulous Boxer - Ch Sulez Scorcher at Glenauld JW, owned by Misses L & S Mair. 

Such an impressive male with his clean square outline. Stronge and masculine yet still elegant. A beautiful balanced powerful head, strong muscular neck and excellent front assembly. Firm topline, deep chest and ribs well arched. Strong hindquarters and well developed muscles. Moving with excellent reach and drive. Shown in super hard condition


Group 2 had to go to the Russian Black Terrier - Ir Ch Evrussky Black Widow (ai), Owned by Miss E J N Williams .  

Such a quality female. Large and strongly built with heavy bone and sturdy frame. Moderately broad flat skull, rounded cheekbones with parallel muzzle. Balanced angulation and strong level topline. She powered around the ring with excellent reach from the forequarters.


Group 3 to the Bullmastiff - Ch Stoneglad Gigolo, owned by Mr P & Mrs C Latter

Quality fawn male of correct size and bone. Well proportioned head with large skull and darkest of eyes. Broad chest and good spring of rib. Well angulated hindquarters and powered around the ring.


Group 4 was Ch Sandbears Masterpiece, the Newfoundland owned by Ms S Blake.

Super male who is so well made. Strong head with well shaped skull and square muzzle. Strong neck into well placed shoulders . Deep broad chest and well sprung ribs. Powerful hindquarters . Shown in excellent coat and condition.
