Brown Barbet bitch of 6½ years, broad round skull with femininity, open nostrils, good pigment, expressive brown eye, well set ears, strong neck, straight forelegs, deep chest, top-line could be firmer, ok in rib, moved well in profile, untidy in the rear on the out and back, lacked condition today, BSpB.

Very confident Portuguese Pointer puppy of just 6 months who stood so well to be examined, expressive head with brown eye, well defined stop, high set ears, good reach to his neck with well placed shoulder, good bone and oval well padded feet, liked his outline standing and moving with good tail carriage, a little unsettled on the move going away but eye-catching and sound in profile, in excellent coat and condition, RBD & BP.

Well presented black Barbet of 3 years, strong masculine head and dark expressive eye, square muzzle of good strength, large nose and excellent pigment, nice depth to his chest and sound front assembly, straight forelegs, well muscled rear with good length of tail, balanced and ground covering stride, profuse coat of excellent texture, BD.

2. Cooper’s Multi Ch/Int Ch. Gameglow Playmaker WW’23. Braque D’Auvergne of 5½ years, head of good length, moderate stop, correct shape of skull, oval dark eyes, legs could be straighter, tight feet, well ribbed back with level top-line, good depth to chest but elbows could be neater, tended to ‘crab’ on the out and back but showed some sound profile movement.

1. Taylor/Martin’s Topfields Kinkyboots at Shannonstyle. Korthals Griffon bitch of 13 months, expressive brown eye, moderate stop, well developed furnishings on head, ears of correct length, well laid shoulder and straight forelegs, round feet and good bone, good tail set and carriage, moved well in profile, untidy going away in the rear, presented in excellent coat and well muscled condition.

Well presented Korthals Griffon of 4 years with a lovely feminine head and expression, well developed furnishings on her head, square muzzle with head of good length, correct length of ears, good forechest and depth to her chest, straight forelegs and strong round feet, balanced angles front and rear, moved at the right pace to bring out her best qualities.

2. Boughton’s Gameglow Back To Black. 2 year old Braque D’Auvergne with feminine head and expression, square muzzle, expressive eye, good length to her ears, good depth of chest and well laid shoulder, oval feet, would prefer a better shape to her ribcage, level top-line, free profile movement but she could tighten in her rear on the out and back, excellent temperament.

1. Taylor’s Swiss Sh Ch. Fabpoint Pagan Through Pointoak WW23. Beautifully presented Portuguese Pointer of 4 years, she appealed for her balance and femininity, broad skull with well defined stop and full expressive eye of good colour, good forechest and depth of chest, well laid shoulder, straight forelegs, good feet and bone, she excelled in her profile movement and was presented in hard well muscled condition, RBB.

2. Draj’s Forrests Impah into Griffonview. 3 year old Korthals Griffon with feminine head and expressive eye, head of good length and correct length to her ears, good reach of neck into a well laid shoulder, well ribbed back, tended to stand wide in front, round feet, level top-line, she showed some sound profile movement but just lacked animation today, lovely harsh coat of good texture.

1. Sladden’s Khyannes Villette at Canemamans ShCEx (imp HUN). Braque D’Auvergne of 7 years not showing any signs of slowing up anytime soon, lovely feminine head of good length with oval dark eye, well set ears, good reach of neck into a super front assembly, sound body proportions throughout, well ribbed back with muscular loin, she was balanced on the move with a free ground covering gait, well muscled with a lovely glossy coat, BB, BV & BOB.

1. Millward/Bryson’s Foxhound A Mark Left Behind (imp AUST). Foxhound. 12 month old male full of masculinity and substance, flat skull, square muzzle, brown expressive eye, well laid shoulders, straight forelegs and good depth to his chest, excellent bone and strong round feet, beautiful free movement covering the ground with no effort, excellent coat condition and hard muscle, pleased to see him, at such a young age, shortlisted in a strong Hound Group.

Griffon Fauve De Bretagne. 2 year old bitch, feminine head and expression, good length of head, oval dark eye, well set ears of good length, strong neck into sloping shoulders, well sprung ribs, good depth of chest, moved well in profile but unsettled in the rear going away, BSpB.

2. Middleton’s Caelestibleu Jean Luc. Basset Bleu De Gascoigne. Male of 10 months with his very capable young handler, good head proportions, oval dark expressive eyes, slight stop, prominent sternum and good depth of chest, level top-line, well muscled rear quarters, this young team just need to come together but what a promising partnership for the future.

Well presented male of 8 months, keen expressive dark eye, good depth of chest with developing forechest, well set ears of excellent length, muscular neck, well laid shoulder with good ribs, compact and well knuckled feet with strong bone, good tail set and carriage, needs to tighten in front but in excellent coat and condition, BP.

Handsome male of 4 years, powerful and accurate on the move, well set ears of good length, strong muzzle and clean head, strong neck and well laid shoulder, sound in his top-line with a well muscled effective rear, balanced and free on the move, a lovely male who had lots to say for himself! BD & BOB.

Griffon Fauve De Bretagne. 8 year old male with masculine head and friendly expression, dark eye with well set ears, slight stop, strong muscular neck into a well placed shoulder, good bone and feet, balanced angles front and rear, enough depth of chest, another unsettled in the rear moving away, presented in a lovely harsh jacket.

2. Binnersley/Tomkinson’s Covehithe Duke of Hazzard at Morthound. Black and Tan Coonhound. 8 years old, masculine head and expression with dark hazel eyes of good size and shape, well placed ears of excellent length, strong neck into a well laid front, good bone and feet, could be firmer in both top-line and front pasterns, not totally settled on the move today.

1. Whitlam/Barber’s Cunninghams Buena Vista at Pokitaru (imp DEU). Black and Tan Coonhound. Young bitch of just 14 months with a lovely feminine head and expression, good strength in her muzzle, well set ears of good length, she had a good depth of chest and was well ribbed back, muscular strong loin, moved out with a clean easy ground covering stride.

2. Randall’s Penner Lodge Melissa Officinalis at Celestiares (imp IT). Black and Tan Coonhound. Another well presented bitch of 14 months with a feminine expressive head, muscular neck and well placed shoulder with good depth of chest, firm top-line, strong bone and compact feet, just preferred the top-line and bend of stifle on 1, she moved well in all directions with an easy free gait.

Ultra feminine bitch of 2½ years, dark hazel expressive eye, lovely long ears, straight front with prominent sternum, she had a strong neck leading into a well laid shoulder, balanced in her angles front and rear, level top-line, moved well in all directions with a positive free and accurate gait, in excellent coat and hard condition, BB.

Griffon Fauve De Bretagne. 2 years old and litter sister to BSpB where much of the same remarks apply, feminine head and lovely kind expression, slight stop, balanced head proportions, well placed shoulder, top-line could be a little firmer, deep chest and well ribbed back with muscular loin, she moved out well in profile, RBB.

2. Stephenson’s Rolenska Faith In You at Bondgate. Black and Tan Coonhound. Well presented bitch of 4½ years in lovely coat and condition, feminine head which was clean cut with moderate stomach, strong underjaw, expressive round eye, long ears correctly placed, well laid shoulder, straight forelegs and compact well padded feet, just was unsettled today and not making the best of herself.

Well put together red/white powerful male of 2 years presented in good coat and hard condition, broad wedge head with strong muzzle, eyes of good colour and well set, erect ears, muscular neck, straight forelegs leading to strong large feet, deep chest and well sprung ribs, balanced angles and good tail set, excellent on the move where he powered around the ring, Greenland Dog. BD & BOB.

2. Atkins/Douglas’ Ir Ch Lux Ch Int Ch Qimugta S’holmes Ir Jun Ch. Canadian Eskimo Dog. Masculine white/red of 5 years with lovely head and expression, obliquely set eye, well placed short ears, well laid back shoulder with straight forelegs, good depth of chest and correctly sprung rib, muscular loin, well carried tail, could be a little tidier in the rear on the out and back, RBD.

2. Blaney’s Multi Ch. Suna Sanik’s Freidige Alice Av Fenrirkin (imp NOR). Greenland Dog. 7½ years, grey/white bitch with feminine head and a lovely alert expression, strong muzzle and well placed ears, eye of good colour, strong neck which was muscular, straight forelegs and large feet, balanced angles fore and aft with well let down hocks and good bend of stifle, could be cleaner going away in the rear, RBB.

Entlebucher Mountain Dog. 2½ years, very feminine tri-colour bitch with good proportions of body to height, flat skull, high set ears, she had the most beautiful kind expression, muscular neck leading into a pleasing front assembly, neat elbows, straight forelegs with round compact feet, she was free and effortless on the move, presented in excellent coat and condition, BB & BOB.

Maremma Sheepdog. 9 years, large yet feminine head, moderate stop, powerful jaw, dark expressive eye, excellent pigment, well muscled neck, strong neck into a well set shoulder, good spring of rib, good tail set and carriage, she tended to keep her head right down to the ground which affected her overall picture on the move, RBB & BV.

Icelandic Sheepdog. 14 months, red, masculine head with expressive brown eye, erect ears, straight forelegs with well padded feet, good body proportions with depth to his chest, well sprung rib, firm top-line, dew claws present, needs to tighten in his rear but a promising young male, RBD.

2. Cartwright/Burdett’s Alto Du Clos D’aria (imp FRA). Picardy Sheepdog. Fawn male of just 15 months, a lovely example of the breed but just a little aware of his surroundings today and not settled, nicely chiselled masculine head, slight stop, lovely head furnishings with high set ears, eyes of good colour and set, strong neck and shoulders, well muscled in the rear, he showed some free profile movement.

1. Brown/Smith’s Tamalden A Head of The Game. White Swiss Shepherd Dog. 19 months, powerful male who was balanced all through standing and moving, clean chiselled head, dark eye and well placed erect ears, straight forelegs of good bone, good reach of neck and well laid shoulder, a lovely example of this breed, presented in excellent coat, he moved out with excellent reach and drive covering the ground well, BD & BOB.

1. Henshaw’s Whitehemi’s Brabham. White Swiss Shepherd Dog. 3½ years, masculine head and expressive dark eye with well set ears, strong neck leading into a well placed shoulder, straight forelegs with feet that could be a little tighter, firm top-line and well muscled rear, well ribbed back, could be tidier on the out and back but showed sound profile movement.

2. Dennis’s Shadowshack All Moons. White Swiss Shepherd Dog. Male of 4½ years, masculine head and expression, strong jaw and well placed ears, could have a tidier bite, straight forelegs of good bone with oval feet, a shade steep in shoulder for my preference and not the extension and drive of 1 on the move.

White Swiss Shepherd Dog. 7 years, masculine head and keen expression with lovely dark eye, his teeth could have been cleaner, well placed erect ears, strong feet and bone, firm top-line, well muscled loin, strong rear quarters which he used to good effect on the move, excellent coat and condition, he moved out well with an easy ground covering stride, BV.

2. Statham’s Vezuvijus Vejuonos Serksnas (imp LTU). White Swiss Shepherd Dog. 9 years, masculine head and expressive eye with well placed ears, strong neck and shoulders, good depth of chest, well ribbed back with muscled loin, strong hindquarters, low set tail, could be tidier on the move all round, excellent temperament.

Really liked this fawn bitch of 15 months with such a friendly disposition, ultra feminine all through with wedge shaped head and defined stop, dark expressive eye and excellent pigment, erect ears well placed, straight forelegs of good bone, appealing proportions, dew claws present, firm top-line, beautiful in profile, just needs to tidy up a little in the rear on the out and back, promising, BB.

White Swiss Shepherd Dog. 19 months, lovely feminine head and expression with dark eye and good strength in muzzle, well placed ears, strong neck and well laid shoulder, firm top-line, powerful hindquarters which she used effectively on the move, good bend of stifle, she moved out well with a powerful parallel gait from the rear, lovely in profile, RBB.

2. Henshaw’s Whitehemi’s Crossley. White Swiss Shepherd Dog. 19 months, feminine head and expression although I would like a little more strength in muzzle for preference, well placed ears and dark eye, strong neck and shoulders, good bone and oval feet, preferred shoulder placement of 1 and she would benefit from a little more condition overall, moved out ok.

Male of 2½ years presented in lovely coat and condition, flat skull with small dark eye and good pigmentation, small high set erect ears, well laid back shoulder, could have a better return of upper arm, straight forelegs and well padded feet, level top-line and good ribs, he could be more settled in his front action, BD & BOB.

Blonde bitch of 8 months, wedge shaped head with erect ears, dark eye, neck of good length and well muscled, good angulation front and rear, ribbed well back, tail well set and carried, moved ok once settled, smooth, warm skin, BSpB.

1. Cunningham’s Yulyeong On To A Winner. Korean Jindo. Promising well balanced young male of 15 months, liked his masculine expressive head and well proportioned body, almond shaped dark eye, medium well placed ears, good lay of shoulder and neat elbows, firm top-line, well ribbed back, good tail set and carriage, on the move he ‘owned’ the ring and was full of presence, couldn’t look past him for BD & BOB.

2. Allen/Wells’ Yulyeong A Higher Power. Korean Jindo. Another nicely presented male of just 13 months where I preferred the overall proportions of 1, that said he had a masculine head with dark eye and well placed erect ears, straight legs of good bone, needs to deepen in his chest which will come with maturity, well carried tail, a little unsettled in his movement today.

Black male of 2 years old, built along some clean lines, expressive dark eye and good head proportions, ears well placed, good forechest and depth, strong bone and good feet, he was balanced and free on the move, his skin was in excellent condition, RBD.

2. Thornton/Lockhart’s Nubeiro Aoki (imp MEX) Nld JCh, Bel JCh. Xoloitzcuintle (Min). Balanced red male of 20 months, eyes well set of good colour, balanced head, straight forelegs, stood a little wide in front, firm top-line, strong neck and shoulders with good depth of chest, moved out well once settled, good skin condition.

3. Casentieri’s Zventa Sventana Ya Perewinkle (imp RUS).

1. Cunningham’s Cracker of Yulyeong (imp KOR). Korean Jindo. Well presented male of 7 years, masculine head and expressive eye, well placed erect ears of correct size, strong neck, well placed shoulder and neat elbows, straight forelegs of good bone and well padded feet, well muscled rear quarters which he used to good effect on the move, BV.

2. Cassidy’s Chinaskys Pixie. Xoloitzcuintle (Min). Black bitch of 16 months, feminine head and expressive eye although could be more almond in appearance, strong neck and shoulders, straight forelegs, firm top-line, well muscled rear quarters, good tail set and carriage, she moved out well with a free balanced gait.

1. Spry/Balode/Emerson’s Tamoanchan Xareni. Xoloitzcuintle (Std). Black bitch of 3 years, balanced in her head and body proportions, well set ears and alert expression, dark eye, strong neck and shoulders, good feet and bone, liked her angles front and rear with good depth of chest, well ribbed back with muscular loin, could be neater in elbows, she would look more balanced at a slower gait.

2. Cunningham’s Kwest’s Eunhasu at Yulyeong (imp PRI). Korean Jindo. Lovely expressive head on this 13 month old bitch, good head proportions and defined stop, well placed erect ears, almond shaped eye set obliquely, strong neck and shoulders, good body proportions, straight forelegs of good bone with well padded feet, well set tail, good coat of coarse texture, moved out well.

3. Junkova’s Amada Flor Del Mes Delaluna.

1. Cassidy’s Ring Rider Wrecking Ball for Chinaskys (imp HRV). Xoloitzcuintle (Std). 2 year old black bitch who I wouldn’t want any bigger but she was balanced and moved with an effortless free gait, she had a feminine expressive head with good eye colour and well placed ears, strong neck and well placed shoulder, firm top-line, good tail set and carriage, well presented and handled, BB.

2. Cunningham’s Rose of Yulyeong* (imp KOR). Korean Jindo. 3½ years and a very feminine bitch of good body proportions both in body and head, expressive dark eye and well placed ears, strong neck leading into well placed shoulder, good depth of chest, she moved out well with a firm top-line that she carried well, would just benefit from a little more condition.

Korean Jindo. 9 years and lovely feminine expressive head, almond dark eye and well placed erect ears, strong neck and well placed shoulder, good depth in her chest and neat elbows, firm top-line and sound well muscled rear quarters, balanced angles front and rear, she moved out well and was presented in good coat and condition.
