Driffield Championship Dog Show

Thank you to the society for the invitation and thank you to my steward,Mel Hughes,you kept me on my toes.

The ring available wasn't the best for Great Danes to open themselves up, however,it was just enough to see what was going on.

Cubitt Zefathers Wreck it Like Ralph for Zebeldane. 

Large framed brindle boy standing on good feet.Decent head.Well-set ,dark eyes.Super neck into good top line.Moved ok showing good forward reach.

1st Pocock & Pavlou Bubba Von Pao Eberjager with Tamzdane.(Imp FCA).

Nicely marked mantle of a decent size and good proportions.Moved well, straight and true, holding a good topline. 

2nd Jacques & Kirby Jacqukir Take Me Home (ai). Fawn with a strong, masculine head.Nice square outline. Moderate angulation. He was full of beans and a little proud of his tail. 

Limit Dog. 3 (0). 

1st Donnelly Primus Spokesman.

Fawn of a good size, make and shape. He has good bone ,a handsome head with dark eyes . Good mouth. He just needs to firm up.

2nd Nunn,Nunn & Patch Roshanun Conquistador. 

Decently marked harli. Good proportions. Level topline. Moved well but not the front extension of 1.

1st Chappells Ch Selmalda Jealous Guy (ai). 

A dark brindle.Superbly conditioned and presented immaculately. He has everything in the right place and everything fits where it touches. He moved like a train. When he is in top form, like he was today, nothing can stand before him. Delighted to award him the CC and BOB. 

2nd Pococks UK Swiss Lux Ch Int Champion Bel DK CH Tamzdane Empowermint.

A good sized well marked mantle with a good head and dark eyes.He stands on good feet.His outline flows smoothly. Lots to like about this boy. Moved really well. A well deserved RDCC. 

Special Beginners B.

1st Cope Fonblanque Fiona. A lovely harli standing on good feet with ample bone. She has a nice square outline. Level topline.Good mouth and dark eyes. I liked her ears,not being overly big and she made use of them. She moved well,neat and tidy.Best special beginner in breed. 

2nd Duncan Teeseedane Winter Star. A pretty fawn, still very much a baby and obviously raw.Good mouth.Good feet. Nice topline. Needs to fill out and compose herself, which will come with time and experience.

1st Hooker & Lockey Primus Raise A Glass to Garsak. 

A very pretty fawn. Dark eyes and good mouth.Well proportioned outline.Neat feet and ample bone. Moved out well.She is a little shy, hopefully she will grow out of it. A lovely pup. BPIB. 

2nd - Duncan Teeseedane Winter Star.

Cope Alegriagiant Furioza. 

Nicely marked harli.Good bone and good underline.She is going to take time to come together.Moved ok. 

JB 8(1).

1st Harrison Zefathers Pretty Woman at Jasnettdanes.

A pretty fawn with a decent head and lovely expression.Moderate angulation.Decent depth and width of chest at this age. She moved straight and true showing good extension and drive. She will only improve with maturity. 

2nd Evans & Lloyd -Jones Kinnegans Sweet Home at Blodaugoch. 

Paler fawn,built on a slightly smaller frame but very similar in style. Lovely head and expression.Good mouth, dark eyes. Ample angulation fore and aft. Good tail set and carriage. Moved well.

2nd Liddell & Allison Smooriken Gonnae Nodae That. 

Fawn, slightly longer in body proportions.Good head. Made good use of her ears. Good topline,tail set and croup.Needs to letdown in her chest to complete the picture.

1st Concannon Novavida When Birds sing with Azuldanes.

A substantial blue with dark eyes and good dentition.Level planes but would prefer more chiselling to the skull.Smooth flowing lines. Square in outline with good angulation and depth of chest. Shown in good condition. Moved well. 

2nd Jacques & Kirby Jacqukir Love Me Again (ai)JW. 

Pretty fawn. Presents a good overall picture. Good bone.Level topline.Well angulated Which shows in her smart side profile movement.

1st. Stanton Ch.Goldanias Diva Princess.

A superb refined fawn bitch,shown in super condition and handled to get the best out of her. Pretty head,dark eyes and good dentition.Crested neck, well filled and angulated front with good depth and width. Excellent strong bone, good ribbing, decent loin. Nice width of thigh.Correct angles at the rear with short pasterns. 

She is a carbon copy of her sire. BCC.

2nd Clarkes Ch Garsak Summer Days at Mintrex.

A classy fawn and a worthy champion.I would prefer smaller, higher -set ears.

Super neck, good topline and underline.

Strong, straight back end. Correct angles front and rear,moved well. RBCC.
