Richmond Championship Show. 11.09.2026. Large Munsterlanders

Thanks to my two very helpful stewards and the committee of Richmond Champ Show.

I started the show with a minutes silence for Andy Robins who sadly passed away on the previous

day. All exhibitors and myself send our condolences to his wife Lynn and their family

All exhibits were well presented and in good muscular condition making them a pleasure to judge.

I do find it quite worrying that there are no puppies or juniors at the moment. This is not good for

the future of the breed.

Veteran dog 1.  Powell & Murrell's  Sh Ch. Crumpsbrook Woodrush.

This dog was very well turned out , with good balanced angles. He is still so sound on the move

and is shown to advantage. Was pleased to award him CC and BV.

Postgraduate dog 1. Jenks' Albadhu Force Be With You. A very smart dog with a good outline. Liked

his head and expression . He carried his tail well on the move and drove around the ring.

2.  Wakefield's Leriton Lupsu. Another promising young dog who is just at the junior stage

but when he grows his coat back I think he will do well. A little more

ringcraft would also help. He moved well when settled.

Limit dog 1.  Wakefield's Leviton Ophiuchus. He is very much at the leggy stage at the moment

and again needs time to mature. He was in really lovely coat but again would benefit from more

show training.

Open dog 1. Logie  and Braidwood's  Sh Ch. Graf lii vom Busshof At Albadhu (imp)Deu.SHCEX. 

Really liked this dog who is balanced with good angles and a correct tail set.

He was very well turned out and handler shows him to get the best out of him on the move and

standing. His movement around the ring was effortless. Res CC.

2.  Griffiths'  Sh Ch Vonstrahlend Kam Das Leben

A lovely type with a good head and expression. Well put together with a lovely coat.

He stands so well and the handler again getting the best out of him. A little fond of his tail today

but a very worthy Sh.Ch.

3. Wakfields'   Ekkolander Merlot.

Veteran bitch 1. Logie & Braidwood's ShCh Albadhu Pawsitive Vibes JW VW.

A very balanced outline. In good coat with the best of heads. Her movement was effortless and

looked as if she could go all day. Lovely front assembly with good fore chest .Balanced rear and

correct tail set.

2.  Ward's Sh Ch. Braccpoint Song of The Wind for Gemlorien.

Another well constructed lady who also moved well. Unfortunately she had left her coat at home

today and had to settle for second place but again a very worthy Sh.Ch.

Postgraduate bitch. This was a class of lovely young ladies, I am sure most of these are capable of winning

higher honours. Maturity had a lot to do with their places today.

1.    Caille's Kamaze Dancing Queen. Very mature for her age and has an impressive outline

which is helped by her good muscular condition. Her top line is strong and held well on the move.

When she settled she moved with drive especially good in rear. Sure she has a bright future. Res

2. Logie & Braidwood's  Albadhu I’m Addicted To You.

Close decision and another lady who I am sure will gain top honours. Well constructed and a

good type. Again well muscled which showed on the move. Front and rear angles were correct

and also her tail set.

3. Simpson  &  Johnson's  Leriton Corvus Astron

Limit bitch 1.  Logie & Braidwood's Albadhu I’m Mad About You.

She stood alone but what a star she is. Lovely soft expression, Good length of neck which flowed

onto the best of shoulders, well ribbed and correct loin. Hind quarters. were correct which

certainly helped her power around the ring. Her front movement was straight with good reach. CC

and BOB.

Open bitch 1. Foreman's Toberworry Little Lies A good type and shown in the best of

coats. Very feminine with a good head and kind expression. Movement was true and sound.

Looks capable of doing a days work which I know she does.

2.  Powell & Murrell's Tureagh Crystal Cider. Another one in the best of coats. Angles

were good front and rear. Although movement was good she lacked a little enthusiasm on the day.

All the veterans today were very sound which is good for the longevity of the breed.
