I would like to thank the officers and committee for the warm reception at the show. I would also thank all the competitors for the lovely entry of this very rare breed, making it a great day for me and certainly worth the journey.

1st Beecham’s Rydonmist Jack to A King Promising young man, balanced for his age, pleasing head with clean hazel coloured eyes with soft expression, correct dentition and clean ears. Good straight front with good bone. Would prefer a little more depth of chest but was proportionate to dog. Muscular hindquarters and level topline, moved soundly and true.

2nd Hipgrave’s Eald Harvest Moon Larger dog than 1. Proportionate and pleasing outline, good head with clean hazel coloured eyes, correct dentition and clean ears. Strong front end with ample bone deep chest and good spring of rib, good hindquarters well muscled with good bone. Needs to tighten up on the move which will come with time.

1st Swietalski’s Bowswizzler Queen’s Guard Masculine dog of correct proportion, pleasing head, clean hazel coloured eyes, clean ears. Clean and correct dentition. Long muscular neck, powerful front with good straight bone, well rounded feet well padded, good spring of rib and strong loin. Level topline, good strong rear, moved with characteristic roll but true fore and aft.

1st Harvey’s Uccello De La Baronnie De Curvalle Malbecmogs (IMP FRA) Super dog with pleasing head, correct clean dentition, nostrils well developed and liver in colour, clean hazel coloured eyes and clean ears. Long muscular neck, straight well boned front with well laid shoulders. Good round well-padded feet. Deep chest and level topline which was held on the move, well muscled hindquarters with moderately bent stifles. Would have preferred a little shorter in back. Moved with purpose and drive. Certainly fit for function

2nd Alderson’s Meggamooch Yesterday Dog with a masculine head correct ear set, eyes hazel in colour and clean, ears clean, nice straight front and good bone onto well padded round feet, well laid shoulders, good spring of rib and strong loin. Level topline well muscled hindquarters. Dog with substance moving soundly with characteristic roll.

1st Moon’s Deanway Proper Charlie Dog totally fit for function, Balanced dog throughout, traditional head having good width of skull pronounced stop and characteristic frown, correct ear set, clean hazel-coloured eyes, correct clean dentition and clean ears. Good open nostrils, liver in colour, strong long neck. Strong straight well boned front onto rounded well padded feet. Deep well developed chest, with ribs going well back. Well laid muscular shoulders. Muscular loin into well muscled hindquarters. Moderate bent of stifles, well let down hocks. Topline held level in the stack and on the move. Golden liver coat showing golden shading at tips. In hard muscular condition, moved with drive maintaining outline. Pleased to give him DCC and BOB

2ND Clarke’s Florry’s Boy Big Phil JW Another good dog. Head with characteristic brows and decided occiput, eyes clean and hazel in colour, ear set correct and clean. Nostrils liver in colour and well developed. Neck long and well-muscled. Front well boned and straight onto round well-padded feet. Well laid shoulders, deep chest well sprung ribs and strong loin. Topline held on the move. Just found the movement 1 a little more powerful.

Front straight and well boned onto well padded round feet. Deep chest with well sprung ribs, muscular loin into well muscled rear. Topline held level on the move. 2nd Bradbury &Preston’s Sh Ch Harasteorra Big Bear JW Good example of the breed, lovely masculine head with brows evident and decided occiput. Eyes liver in colour and clean, Ears clean and correctly set on head, correct clean dentition. Neck long slightly arched into well laid shoulders. Front straight and well-muscled. Feet round and well padded. Deep chest ribs well back into muscular loin. Well muscled rear with good bone, large well boned strong hocks. Preferred the balance of 1.

Clean hazel coloured eyes, correct and clean dentition, ears clean and set on head correctly. Muscular long neck with slight arch, Front assembly strong, straight and well-muscled. Feet round and well padded. Topline held on the move. Rear well muscled. Moved with drive from the rear. Coat in good condition with golden shading evident.

Eyes clean and correct colour with a wonderful gentle expression, teeth very clean and correct confirmation. Neck long but balanced, muscled with slight arch Front assembly well built, straight well boned, onto rounded feet which are well padded. Good lay of shoulder. Chest still developing but proportionate, ribs well sprung and loin strong. Topline held level on the move and when stacked. Rear with good bone and well made hocks being well muscled providing drive from the rear. Moved very well. Pleased to give her BP.

2ND Beecham’s Rydonmist Honky Tonk Angel Feminine bitch with plenty of character and get up and go. Feminine head with clean eyes of correct colour. Ears clean and with correct set on head. Correct clean dentition. Nice neck slightly arched and proportionate to body. Front straight and nicely muscled. Feet round and well padded. Chest still developing but proportionate, Hindquarters developing well with nice muscle and good bone. Held topline on the move. Needs to settle in the ring.

Neck long, muscular and slightly arched, Front assembly well made and muscular. Feet round and well padded. Deep chest and well sprung ribs. Loin strong into well made muscular rear. Hocks well let down strong and large. Lovely coat with golden shades on tip of feathering. Moved well and held topline on the move.

2nd Ozanne & Cottingham’s Primetime Gilded Age ( IMP USA) Nice young lady with feminine head, eyes clean and correct colour, ears clean and of correct set on head. Correct and clean dentition, nice reach of neck with slight arch. Good front assembly with straight front and round well padded feet. Chest and ribs still developing but proportionate into strong loin. Rear assembly good however tended to lose the topline on the move. Coat good with shades of golden showing at tips of feathering.

Chest deep and ribs well sprung into a strong lion. Hindquarters well muscled and good bone evident. Strong Hocks. Moved well around the ring.

Nostrils open and correct colour. All leading to a lovely gentle feminine expression. Neck, slightly arched, long and muscular. Shoulders well laid and muscular. Front straight and well boned. Feet round and well padded. Chest deep and ribs well sprung. Topline level and maintained when on the move. Rear assembly muscular. Tail set correct. Coat super with shades of golden on feathering. Moved well with drive around the ring. 

2nd Mowbray’s Crumbledor Bella Lestrange A slightly larger bitch than 1 but nevertheless lovely proportions. Feminine throughout. Good head with brows evident and decided occiput. Ear set correct. Correct eye colour and clean. Ears clean. Nostrils open and correct liver colour. Chest deep well made with good bone to straight legs onto round well padded feet. Ribs well sprung and well back to loin which is strong. Rear assembly powerful. Coat super with golden shading showing. Moved well.

1st Bradbury & Preston’s Sh Ch Harasteorra Aphrodite Super bitch with lovely feminine head, moved beautifully in this class. Head with correct proportions showing the typical brows and decided occiput, very gentle expression with clean eyes of hazel colour, correct ear set and liver nose with good open nostrils. Correct clean dentition. Neck muscular long and slight arch evident. Chest well developed and deep. Front Straight and well boned onto round well padded feet. Ribs well sprung and well back into powerful strong loin. Hindquarters well muscled and powerful. Coat in top condition showing golden shades on the tip of the feathers. Moved soundly around the ring. Pleased to give her BCC and VB

2ND Harvey’s Ir Sh Ch/it Sh Ch Special Vero Buenos Dias (Imp Pol) Very nice bitch with good feminine head. Another with correct head proportions, typical brows and decided occiput, gentle expression in the eyes which were clean and of correct colour. Ear set is correct and ears clean. Nose liver in colour with open nostrils. Good strong front with straight well boned front legs onto round well padded feet. Deep chest and well sprung rib. Loin strong and well muscled Rear very well muscled with strong rear legs and large strong hocks. Coat in good condition with typical golden shading . Just preferred the length of back in 1. Pleased to give her the RCC. Truly fit for function.
