What a lovely breed to judge. Having not had the chance to judge this breed ‘in numbers’ I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised, the dogs were a pleasure to go over and the exhibitors a real friendly bunch! I would look forward to judging the breed again.

Class 702 PD/B (7 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 2024 LEACH, Ms K Moyadacha Good Gosh, striking red L/C male with black fringing on well positioned ears of good size. Although his front needs to settle, at 10 months old I liked his overall balance, squarely made with fine bone in lengthy legs, flat topline with tail carried well on the move. Most attractive in head, eyes large and round and attentive to his handler. Moved with a good brisk action. BPIB, BD & BOS.

2nd: 2027 POXON, Miss Lindsay Lingkiss Beautiful Trauma, 9 month old B/tan, good for overall outline again, fairly square in frame and attractive head and alert expression aided by her large flaring ears which were set high on the skull and used to advantage. Moved well and held her topline. RBB.

3rd: 2023 LEACH, Ms K Moyadacha Goodroot Tsarina

Class 703 JD/B (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2026 POXON, Miss Lindsay Lazurniy Bereg, 16 month blue & tan dog, good for shape and balance, topline could be a touch firmer but good rib and tuck up. Head shape good with well positioned ears and defined stop. Eyes round and full of expression. Moved well.

Class 705 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 2018 CODLING, Mrs A Shishalee's Sex Bomb Ja, 2 year old male, red with black overlay, good for shape and balance, head smallish with well position ears, nicely fringed and alert expression in the eye. Defined in stop, nicely arched neck and steady topline. Tails et and carriage f=good with fine bone in front and moderately angled rear. Moved nicely. RBD.

2nd: 2029 SLACK, Mrs & Mr Evelyn & David Bel Ch Grande Misterio Incanto Heaven Eversbabes, 

Black & Tan male, 3 year old, nicely headed with good use of ears, neck length ok but topline not as firm as winner, fine bone on the legs of decent lengh and moved well.

Class 707 OB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2022 LEACH, Ms K Swiss Ch Ch Czech Moyadacha Good Golly, 4 year old red LC bitch with black overlay, she to me is almost in a class of her own, so balanced and easy on the eye with a steady topline, tail carried nicely on the move and with good rib and tuck up. Leg length is good, made with fine bone and straight in front. She has a good length of neck, nicely arched and had the most attractive headpieces, lustrous round eyes and large flaring ears which are positioned perfectly and used to her advantage. BB & BOB

2nd: 2030 SLACK, Mrs & Mr Evelyn & David Bel Ch Caramel Sweetness Wonderful Toy For Eversbabes, another red girl with black overlay, silky coat texture, topline not quite as firm as 1 but good rib and tuck up. Bone fairly fine and holding outline well on the move. Eyes are round a stop is defined, but under all the fringing, her ears are a little on the small side which for me takes away that typical look in the head.
