VD

1st Eyes of The World Silver and Gold. Masculine male. Good body ratios. Excellent head for proportions with defined stop and strength to skull. Well set ears. Moderate neck leading to a good front. Deep chest. Holds a firm topline. Strong body. Short loins. Well angled rear. Slight slope to croup and low set tail. Moved out well, covering the ground with freedom.

 2nd - Borderbrook Fire and Flame ShCEx. A really excellent Border Collie male. Preferred his size and he gives off an excellent outline on the stack. Lovely head and expression. Good overall conformation with balanced angles front and rear. Quality bone. In lovely coat. Not quite the depth of stride of 1st and tail could be carried a smidge lower, but I liked him a lot.

3rd - Nashdom Putting On The Style JW ShCEx

1st Tobermoray in to The Wild. Mature pup in with good body and coat. Typical outline with good head developing of correct proportions. Moderate neck. Chest well developed for age. Good front angles. Short ;loins. Can firm up in topline, which should come with age. Moderate rear. Moved out well displaying a scopey side gait.

 2nd Eyes of The World Zest for Life. Another promising youngster. More compact in outline compared to 1st. Liked his size and has nicely balanced angles front and rear. Pleasing head with correct eye shape giving desired keen expression. A confident pup just needing to settle a fraction more on the move, but he has everything to no doubt have a good career ahead of him.

1st - Caleykiz Ignite The Passion. Standing alone but quite capable of winning in company. Most promising young male that oozes breed type. Balanced outline, slightly longer than high in proportions. Head developing well with defined stop and flat skull. Strong neck but could have a touch more length here. Deep chest. Firm topline and well ribbed. Short loins. Moderate front angulation. Good rear leading to sound hocks. Slight slope to croup. Moved well on a loose lead, dropping his head to give the correct carriage for the breed. In excellent double coat. Should easily make the upper house.

1st - Blackgold Age of Aquarius JW. Quite workmanlike in outlook and has functional length of leg. Strong head with well defined stop and balanced. Pleasing in neck. Good lay of shoulder and length of upperarm. Holds his topline firm both on the stack and on the move. Good rear. Moved well in all directions. Just needs a bit more time to drop fully into his frame, particularly in chest but has plenty of time for that. Super condition.

1st - Littlethorn Kona. Medium sized boy, masculine and functional for type. Good head for shape and strength. Excellent eye. Medium neck. Good lay of shoulder but upperarm could be a fraction longer. Excellent body and ribs. Short, muscular loins. Moderate in rear. Gentle slope of croup leading to a low tai set. Smooth, easy mover carrying his tail correctly. Excellent hard condition.

1st Tobermoray Touch of Class JW Another functional dog that gives the impression he could easily do a day’s ‘work. Moderate size, masculine and pleasing body ratios. Head is balanced with strength to skull and defined stop. Typical oval eye and eager expression. Good angulation front and rear, well balanced allowing him to move freely with reach in front and driving well from the rear. In good coat and hard condition.  

2nd Locheil Freeze Frame. Different type of male being heavier-built all through. Strong head with muzzle to compliment. Good eye and ears. Deep, roomy chest giving function for work. Firm body. Good angulations. Displays an open side gait on the move, just not quite as settled going away today. Presented in good double coat.

 3rd Jupavia A Kind of Magic.

1st Sh Ch Hysteps Come by JW. Medium sized dog that gives off a pleasing outline on the stack. Strong and masculine but functional enough to do a days work. A bit too strong in skull but head is balanced with distinct stop. Excellent ear set and carriage. Good reach of neck. Deep chest. Enough bone and stands on excellent feet. Holds a firm topline leading to a moderately sloping croup. Excellent ribbing. Short loins. Excellent front and rear angles coming together to give super profile movement. Correct head and tail carriage, with handler allowing him to lower himself and move out in true breed fashion. In a very good class of males, I couldn’t look past him today and pleased to award him a well deserved CC.

 2nd Sh Ch Sashdan Pure Imagination with Simmovon. A dog I have loved since awarding him BP the last time I judged the breed. Great to discover he now carries his title. Super head, eye and excellent ear set and carriage. Excellent reach of neck and so soundly constructed all through. Excellent mover out and back, in fact one of the best here today in this department. Just sloping away a touch steeply in croup on the stack consequently losing his outline. Good depth of stride and could not be denied his place on his overall quality. As always from this owner, immaculately presented. Res CC. 

3rd Sh Ch Laceway Black Sabbath.

1st Calareto All My Loving. Another that has done well under me previously and good to see her now fully mature. A medium sized female that has many good breed attributes. Good outline with a excellent head, feminine but has strength to skull and balanced with muzzle. Good neck. Moderately angled front with matching rear. Excellent body and muscle condition. Smooth mover, covering the ground easily. Has a clear bond with her handler. Best SBB.

1st Nashdom One Day in May. Feminine female and carrying her age well. Excellent head, good eye shape and uses her ears to best advantage. Medium neck. Good lay of shoulder but upperarm could have more layback. Excellent topline. Well bodied. Short loins. Gentle slope to croup. Moderately angled rear. Moved out well, sound out and back and good from profile. Lovely coat and condition.

Three promising babies, all at different stages of development.

1st Story Rex Heritage Guess for Axernamoon. The rawest of the 3 with regards to body and coat but all there in conformation and movement. Excellent overall outline, very feminine and ideally proportioned. Head coming along well, excellent reach of neck leading to a well angled front. Good rear. Understandably, still a bit loose out and back but excellent from profile with a reachy side gait carrying a low tail. Full of potential and pleased to award her BP.

 2nd Chastanse Wedding Bells. Another excellent pup and close-up. Super head, very typical with good eye and ear set. Moderate neck. Good angles and relatively well balanced for her age. Good on the move from all directions, in good coat and shows promise for an excellent future, as does 3rd .

 2nd. Jerseywood Keep On Loving. Pleasing pup. Feminine in outlook but with good bone and typical head. Good eye shape. Excellent ear set. Needs a bit more time to mature but everything as it should be for her age. Excellent topline. Sound mover, settled better in this class.

 2nd Jerseywood Love in The Dark. Litter sister to 1st and very similar all through. Pleasing in size and type. As 1st still needs time to mature but is good for type and function and sound conformation. Correct head for shape and proportions. Settled into a typical gait.

3rd Dollindaw Divine Delight.

1st Altricia Love Me Do. An excellent female with an eye-catching outline. Excellent head, has strength but some refinement to skull. Well defined stop. Excellent eye and ears. Excellent reach of neck leading to a well angled front. Good depth of chest. Strong body and short loins. Has strength to rear quarters. Her profile movement shows plenty of reach and drive, covering the ground so well with a low tail carriage. Presented in immaculate form and good coat. Pushed hard in the challenge and I had her as 3rd in line for the CC. Should make-up with little trouble.

2nd Bryning Psychedelic Kisses JW. Another beautiful female and another who should easily gain her crown. Slightly smaller all through than 1st but nothing lacking with good body and bone. Excellent head, eye and ears. Good neck and very balanced both in proportions and angulations. Excellent mover from all directions. Well presented and handled to bring out her best.

 2nd Wenmap Special Arrival. Feminine female. Smaller-built all through. A touch compact in outline. Pleasing in head, eye and ear set. Good to go over, just needs to settle a bit on the move, sound though and in good coat.

1st Hysteps That'll Do JW. Excellent female who’s size appeals. Slightly heavier-built all through but doesn’t compromise her femininity or function. Quality bone and excellent feet. Shapely head and ken eye. Medium neck. Deep chest. Excellent topline and gentle slope to croup. Good front and rear. Excellent mover really covers the ground with the minimum of effort. Correct tail carriage.  

2nd Littlethorn Chiqui. Different type to 1st and I liked her functional outlook. Good head and overall conformation. Has a good lay of shoulder but could have a touch more length of upperarm which would extend her front reach further. Excellent body and in hard condition. Quite a close call as they are both typical females offering virtues for different reasons in many ways.

3rd Wenmap Topkapi Gem.

1st Huntly Chat Up Line at Locheil. Excellent example of the breed and another that pushed for higher honours today. Slightly larger overall in stature and I appreciated her very good proportions with functional length of leg. Good strength to skull with correct amount of stop. Maybe a touch long in muzzle for ideal but has with good eye shape and well set-on ears, used to best advantage. Excellent neck, good front angles and development of chest. Excellent topline. Well ribbed to short, muscular loins. Excellent rear angulation and low set tail. Eye-catching profile movement, really moved out covering the ground with ease and freedom, just needs to firm-up a bit going away. Another Ch. in the making for these two well-known affixes I’m sure. 

 2nd Nashdom Lost in Your Eyes JW. Beautifully feminine. More compact in shape than 1st and not quite the front angulation. Excellent head, well balanced and uses her ears well. Medium neck. Mature in body with good coat. Good hindquarters and sound hocks. Sound in all directions and presented in good coat.

 3rd Simmovon Reason Too Dream JW.

Cracking class to judge. Made up of different types but all had breed function. I was splitting hairs to get them down to the 5 placed

1st Sh Ch Fayken I Am Here JW. At 7 years, this excellent female I last judged as a pup, awarding her high honours and haven’t had the opportunity to judge her since. I have seen her a few times from ringside and admired so it was good to get the opportunity to judge her again. She didn’t disappoint in any department. Bang-on for size she has feminine charms but substance, bone and length of leg to do the job the breed was developed for. Balanced head, good eye giving an alert, keen expression. Moderate in neck. Her front angulation is one of the best I have assessed in any breed. Excellent lay and length of shoulder with return of upperarm. Holds a firm topline and correct angle and length to croup. Excellent rear. Low set and carried tail but it’s really on the move that captures the eye. Excellent side gait, minimal lift of foot and true both out and back. Pleased to award her the CC and BOB in a quality entry. Delighted to later award her the top spot in the Pastoral Veteran Group and delighted she finished BVIS. Congratulations!

 2nd Fin/mva/int Ch/sup Ch Pukawidgee The Moon in Winter. Another impressive female and equally eye-catching. Similar in size to 1st but deeper in body and not quite the length of leg. Super head piece with excellent eye, ear set and carriage. Good reach of neck. Deep, roomy chest. Firm, level topline on the move. Balanced angles front and rear. Really covers the ground from profile, keeping her tail low and covering the ground.. In super coat and immaculate presentation. Pleased to award her Res CC.

3rd Sh Ch Arrodare Rebel with A Cause JW.
