I was a substitute judge for Mrs Christina Bailey. There were many super champions to choose from over the three days and I was spoilt for choice.

1st: 264 THOMPSON-MORGAN, Mrs C Ch Layhefields Great Ridge By Belleville, lovely typy Norfolk of good balance overall, short backed with good substance and bone, good breadth of skull, pleasing front construction, particularly good hindquarters, has a very good coat, particularly good mover behind where he really does drive, a good showman;

2nd: 29 FLETCHER, Mrs Jayne & FLETCHER, Mrs Charlotte Ch Sharnor Sultan Of Spica JW, typical Bedlington shown and presented well, liked his typical head, narrow skull, good depth of chest, flab ribs, moved soundly with typical gait;

3rd: 1414 SHIPTON, Mrs S Bel Ch Heartwood Mishules All Is Possible With Cal, Field Spaniel

Class 1396 AVChD/B To/Uty (21 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1870 HARMAN, Mr T & Mrs J Ch Nasabe It's On The Cards For Boimans JW, ETT of nearly 4 years, very feminine, liked her head, candle flame ears, long neck into well laid shoulders, shapely hindquarters and good stifle, well arched feet, very good typical mover, shown in lovely condition and very responsive to handler;

2nd: 2333 SCOTT, Mr J & SCOTT, Miss E Ch Ir Ch Sophtspot La De Da At Belsmard ShCEx, this lovely mature Dalmatian bitch pushed hard and was admirably handled by a young lady, quality all through with particularly good neck, shoulders and front, quality head, well ribbed and overall of good balance, super mover in profile going with effortless reach and drive, never stands wrong;

3rd: 2191 WELBOURN, Miss Tianey Ch Zumarnik Made You Look, Maltese

1st: 4655 REES, Mr Ellis Ch Winter Melody Triple Trouble At Amical (imp Pol) Siberian Husky who totally belies her 7 years, has such a super outline and is very good to handle, standing up to closer scrutiny, typical head, very well made front, well ribbed back body, correct hindquarters and natural showgirl, it is on the move where she totally scores – she goes with such a smooth effortless stride that covers the ground with minimum effort due to her excellent angulation fore and aft, a pleasure to judge;

2nd: 4538 MILLS, Miss Stephanie & CHATBURN, Mr Richard Ch Oialt Back With A Icy Three JW beautiful black Newfoundland of approaching 4 years, well balanced, has strength combined with being able to be active, good head, almond shaped eye, good neck and shoulders, well boned legs, deep chest, well sprung ribs and well ribbed back, strong muscular hindquarters which allow her to drive forward with power, double coat that was well presented, moved on a lovely effortless stride;
