I feel it was an honour to be invited to judge a breed club show and I would like to thank the committee and their members for inviting me. It was a very well run show with a friendly atmosphere. I would also like to thank my very competent steward, Alison Walker, for all her hard work and help in keeping everything running smoothly. Although I had some quality dogs I do have some concerns about our breed in general. I found on the whole front construction an issue with short upper arms / upright shoulders thus impacting on the dogs ability to move freely with reach. Also eyes seem to becoming rounder rather than almond shaped as stated in the breed standard. Baby puppy Dog (1,0) 1st - Farquharson’s - Shanshal Relish The Thought - 5mth old gold /white pp, pleasing head with dark eye, good mouth, well placed ears , balance body with good topline, nice for size, lovely temperament ,moved steadily with correct tail carriage. Best Baby Puppy Minor Puppy Dog ( 3,0)1st -Laws – Karamouche For All To See – mahogany/cream hairless, only 6mths old but so much to like . Well balanced head although muzzle still needs to refine a little, correct scissor bite, beautiful dark almond shaped eyes set well apart, large well placed ears, good neck leading to correct shoulder placement, strong body with good length and balance, good depth, firm topline, lovely soft supple skin, well muscled hindquarters with good angulation, short hocks , moved true with reach and drive although he did get a little enthusiastic at times and lift his front, this I forgave because of him age, tail well set and carried correctly on the move Dog CC , BPIS and RBIS. 2nd - Dziobon’s - Karamouche Hyrules Last - erected eared cream PP , Nice shape and balance but personally I wouldn’t want him to grow anymore and I would like a more refined head, nice dark eye, correct scissor bite, firm topline which he held on the move, good rear angulation ,nice tail set and carriage, happy on the move. 3rd - Dziobon’s - Karamouche Fairdust At Cacodom Puppy Dog ( 4,1) 1st - Godfrey & Peacock’s - Apailana Stand By Me by Godpeakiki - very pretty erected eared PP, liked his size, he has an exquisite head and expression, lovely dark almond shaped eyes, good mouth, adequate neck , level topline which he held on the move, good rear angulation, moved true , just needs to body up and fill out which should come with age. 2nd - Dziobon’s- Karamouche Fairdust At Cacodom -light mahogany/cream hairless who was third in minor puppy. Upto size and heavy in head, large ear, correct scissor bite, lovely soft supple skin, moved ok when settled. Junior Dog ( 1,0) 1st - Kirkwood’s - Helydon Zazy Zachery - well upto size Mahogany/cream hairless, balanced head with dark eye, good mouth, straight front , correct hare foot, soft supple skin, well muscled hindquarters, would prefer shorter hocks, moved true. Yearling Dog - ( 4,0) 1st - Boden’s - Pufflepaws Somnis De Reims Gemadar JW - 20mth Mahogany/cream hairless, Nicely constructed dog with good depth and balance, pleasing head , dark eye , moved soundly. 2nd - Bower’s - Riveralca Lewis JW - very attractive 16mth blue laced hairless, loved his shape and size, balanced head, strong ears, dark eye, would prefer better dentition but was advised he is still teething, excellent skin with good furnishing, well set tail carried correctly on the move, moved soundly. 3rd - Dziobon’s - Karamouche Pandamonium JW. Post graduate Dog - (4,0) 1st- Routledge’s - Pufflepaws Dream To Reality - nicely presented cream pp, good balance throughout, nice dark eye , correct bite, straight front, moved soundly, tail a little tight. 2nd -Coulter’s - Sherzando Quill - true hl with adequate furnishing, nice size shown in excellent condition, balanced head, strong ears, dark eye, good mouth, lovely skin, well muscled hindquarters moved ok when settled. 3rd - O’Sullivan’s - Miatory Light My Byre. Limit dog - (6,3) 1st - Peacock’s - Pufflepaws Yes Sir Can Boogi With Iapea - Sable and white pp, nice for size and balance, well balanced head with appealing eye, good ears , straight front ,firm level topline, correct veil coat which was well presented , moved soundly. 2nd - Parker’s - Doonbeg Mahogany Magic At Khatira JW - mahogany hl, honest type with pleasing head, good mouth, broad chest, strong ears, but not the shoulders of the winner and didn’t make the best of himself on the move. 3rd - Panayiotis’s - Ynchreenoo Masquerade At Annamyha Open Dog - (6,1) 1st - Koot & Koot - Van Oosten’s - Concrete Clouds Sieger - 3yr hl, refined head with dark eye , although slightly longer in muzzle than I prefer, correct ear placement ,good mouth, well constructed front, pleased neck leading to firm level topline, nice body with good depth, well angulated hindquarters, came into his own on the move , sound and covering the ground with ease. RCC 2nd - Parker’s- Riveralca Stenness At Khatira JW - well presented black pp, nice size and balance, strong erect ears, dark eye, although slightly round, strong well ambulated hindquarters , level topline which he kept on the move but couldn’t match the front extension of the winner. 3rd - Routledge’s - Pufflepaws Dream To Reality. Veteran Dog - (5,2) 1st - Parker’s - Ch. Ynchreenoo Black Magic At Khatira Shcex - black pp who was present to perfection, masculine head, well set dark eyes, strong well placed ears, strong topline, nice rear angulation, moved soundly.RBVIS 2nd - Farquharson’s- Shanshal Prince Of Arabia JW VW - Immaculately presented cream pp, strong well used ears although a little low set, balanced head, excellent mouth, well made body, moved with drive but didn’t always hold is topline. 3rd - Coulter’s - Scherzando Betelgeuse. Special Beginners Dog - (4,1) 1st - Dziobon’s - Karamouche Hyrules Last - see minor puppy 2nd - Symons - Riveralca Barra - well handled black / white pp, nice for size , balanced head with clean checks ,dark correct shaped eyes, well made body ,steady on the move, close decision between one and two. 3rd - Dziobon’s - Karamouche Fairdust At Cacodom. Champion Dog (3,1) 1st - Loader’s - Ch. Habiba Gotham Knight For Kettrice - mahogany hl, well put together boy , balanced head with nice chizzling , clean checks, dark almond shaped eyes, pleasing neck and shoulders good depth of chest, nice rear angulation,moved soundly 2nd - Seed’s - Ch Chundecrest Sir Lucifer - black true hl with adequate furnishings, nice for size, strong ears, dark eye although a little round, good mouth, level topline, tail set correctly and used well, moved ok but not the front construction of winner so lacked front reach. Baby Puppy Bitch (1,0) 1st - Botterill’s - Kiara Sanem Pompinell At Muddiwarx (Cze imp) - well furnished 5 mth hl, really full of herself, lfeminine head, nice dark eye , good topline, happy on the move. Minor puppy Bitch - (1,1) Puppy Bitch - ( 3,1) 1st - Godfrey & Vidler’s Apailana Miss Dior - feminine cream pp in good coat, pleasing size, good front, strong well made body, level topline, gave handler a hard time on the move.BPB 2nd - Routledge’s - Miatory Victoria’s Secret Pufflepaws - black/white hl who showed well, nicely chiselled head with clean checks ,good bite, correct ear placement, straight front, level topline, nice rear angulation, moved well I personally would prefer a little more substance. Junior Bitch - (3,1) it was a close decision between these two - 1st - Kirkwood’s - Helydon Zkitto Zkatto JW -mahogany spotty hl, nice for size, refined well chiselled head, dark eye, correct scissor bite, strong ears, straight front, correct harefoot, good rib, nice length of loin, moved a little narrow going away but showed good reach and drive on the side gate keeping a level topline and correct tail carriage RCC 2nd - Koot & Koot Van Oosten’s - Happy Dancing Sangria Tropicano - blue hl with dark furnishings , this girl I could have taken home, nothing exaggerated about her, well balanced chiselled head with dark almond eyes, large well set ears, pleasing neck and shoulders, well made and balanced throughout but didn’t quite match the winner on the move even though she was sound. Yearling Bitch (1,0) 1st - Routledge’s - Pufflepaws Somnis De Utopia - true hairless with adequate furnishings, dark eye, balanced head but would prefer flatter cheeks, good bite , balanced outline, lovely fine skin, moved with drive. Post Graduate Bitch (3,0) 1st - Simms - Zerachiel Fur Comb Hall - silver/cream dropped ear pp, such a happy little girl, nice for size and balance , pretty head and expression, correct veil coat , moved true. 2nd - Routledge’s - Miatory Victoria’s Secret Pufflepaws, see second in puppy 3rd - Eaton’s - Chestnutcres Sun Set River For Elmsatce. Limit Bitch - (3,0) 1st - McGuigan’s - Annamac Black Tulip - black true hl, who was very happy, pleasing head and dark eye, strong well placed ears, balanced body with good depth, firm topline ,lovely skin, moved ok. 2nd - Seed’s - Chundecrest Mazikeen Might - black hl with good furnishings, fine bone, nice balance but preferred the front construction of winner, good topline, lovely soft skin in excellent condition, happy on the move. 3rd - Botterill’s - Runa Queen Malverne Of Muddiwarx (Cze imp) Open Bitch - (4,2) 1st - Koot & Koot - Van Oosten’s - Happy Dancing Patty Qoot, well presented correct coated pp, nice for size, pleasing head and expression, good depth of chest, ears well set, strong topline, nice angulation, correct tail set and carriage, moved soundly. 2nd - Eaton’s Chestnutcres Miss Fammie At Elmsatce - another pretty pp, balanced head with a nice expression, well made body with good depth, correct veil coat which was in lovely condition, wasn’t as fluid on the move as winner. Veteran Bitch - (5,1) 1st- Koot & Koot - Van Oosten’s - Happy Dancing Jonkvrouw Koot, white/black 8yr pp who didn’t look her age, refined elegant head of correct proportions, lovely dark almond shaped eyes giving a soft gentle expression, excellent ear set, the best front construction of the day, long lean neck leading to well laid shoulders, well sprung rib, good depth of brisket, nice length of loin, strong well angulated hindquarters, short well let down hocks, free effortless movement covering the ground with ease.CC & BIS. 2nd - Proctor & McGowan’s - Pufflepaws Prosecco Please - blue true hl, who has matured well with age, balanced head with dark eye although slightly round, excellent mouth, strong ears , lovely skin in excellent condition, good length, well muscled hind quarters , correct harefoot , nice drive from the rear but couldn’t match the winners front action. 3rd - knowles - Jhanchi Let Me Entertain You JW. Special Beginners Bitch - (3,1) 1st - Simms - Zerachiel Fur Comb Hall, winner of post graduate bitch. 2nd - Eaton’s - Elmsatce Smooth Criminal, cream pp which was well presented, larger and stronger made than I prefer although still balanced in body , nice rear angulation. Champion Bitch - (2,1) 1st - Laws - Ch.Karamouche Parti Frock JW, black / white pp, although she stood alone she is a worthy champion , lovely shape and balance stood, head of correct proportions with a nice shaped dark eye, strong ears which she used well, nice rear angulation, short well let down hocks, moved around the ring showing good drive, immaculately presented veil coat, a credit to her owner.
