Firstly, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Blackpool committee for inviting me to judge Samoyeds and for the honour of awarding my first CCs. My gratitude also goes to my steward, who carried out their duties with great efficiency.

Thank you to all the exhibitors for presenting such a high standard of dogs and bitches. The overall quality was extremely impressive, and I was faced with some very difficult decisions, often having to split hairs to separate such excellent exhibits.

Puppy Dog (1)

1.Miss R & Miss A Mann – Vandreem Imperial Linken A very promising puppy presented in good coat. He shows a lovely head with pleasing expression, strong pigmentation, and a correct bite. His topline is firm with a correct tail set. Well constructed and in proportion, he moved with drive and confidence. BPD.

Post Graduate Dog (3/2)

1.Mrs M & Mrs E Miles & Cameron – Lumistarr I Predict A Riot at Serrenus Presented in good coat with attractive featherings. Displays pleasing depth of chest and well-sprung ribs, complemented by strong pigmentation. Eye and ear set are correct, with a sound bite. Moved well, maintaining balance and style throughout.

Limit Dog (4/2) 

1.Mr N & Mrs JD Collinson – Vandreem Imperial Mario at Norjack A very well-constructed dog, balanced and in proportion. Presented in good coat with beautiful featherings. Well boned, with strong pigmentation, a lovely topline, and pleasing depth of ribs. Bite correct. He moved with drive, maintaining his outline and style throughout.

2. Mr T W & Mrs A J Gwynne – Rosnorske Royal Kylo JW A dog of quality, showing a lovely head and expression. Firm topline with well-sprung ribs and strong pigmentation. Tail set is correct, and he is well muscled throughout. Beautiful feathering enhances his outline. Moved with drive, maintaining balance and presence.

1. Mrs A & Miss N Kirkwood & Carruthers – CH Sonik Z Limanowskiej Kotliny (Imp Pol) A striking dog of excellent overall balance and proportion. He is very well muscled with a strong, clean topline and good length of leg. His ears are well set, and he shows a pleasing reach of neck. Bite is correct, and he carries good bone throughout. Coat condition is very good. He moved with purpose and drive, maintaining his outline at all times. BD, DCC.

2.Mrs A & Miss K & Miss N & Mr B Jebson & King   Vandreem Imperial Ripasso JW A very well-constructed and balanced dog, displaying a lovely head and expression. Shows good length of leg, a pleasing topline, and a well-arched neck. Pigmentation and ear set are correct, with a sound bite. Presented in good coat. Moved with drive, maintaining his outline and presence. RCC.

Veteran Dog (3/2)

1. Mrs L M & Mrs A Jones & Kirkwood – CH/IR/NLD/DK/BL/GER CH Vandreem Imperial Kazhiya JW A dog of excellent construction and balance, with good reach of neck and a firm topline. Bite correct, with well-set ears and eyes, and a correct tail set. Shows good length of leg and is presented in good coat. Moved with drive, maintaining style and presence. BV Group 3.

Special Beginners (2/1)

1. Miss T Watson – Brilantico Cloudy Dreams A little out of coat but showing good pigmentation. Ears are well set, with a correct bite. Displays good length of leg and well-sprung ribs. Moved well, maintaining balance and style.

1. Ms A & Mrs N & Mrs A Fell & Carruthers & Kirkwood – Vandreem Imperial Anezka Just six months old and clearly enjoying her time in the show ring. A very pretty puppy showing much promise. Ears are well set, with correct bite and good pigmentation. Displays a lovely topline and correct tail set. Moved very well, with confidence and balance.

1. Mr C & Miss R Webb & Bates – Angelicus Chiquitta at Rosskaja A very pretty, feminine bitch presented in good coat. Tail set is correct, with well-set eyes and ears. Displays a firm topline and beautiful feathering. Correct bit. Well boned with strong pigmentation. Moved well, maintaining balance and style. BPB

1. Mr P & Mrs D McGreade – Vandreem Imperial Ocean for Frostia A very feminine and pretty bitch, presented in good coat and well muscled. Strong pigmentation and good bone throughout. Displays a firm topline with well-sprung ribs and pleasing length of leg. Moved with drive, showing confidence and style. BJ.

1. A & B Jebson – Vandreem Imperial Malari A pretty bitch, well constructed and in proportion. Displays beautiful featherings and a good reach of neck. Ribs are well sprung, with a pleasing topline. Eyes and ears are well set, and she is presented in good coat. Moved well, maintaining balance and style.

1. Mr P & Mrs D McGreade – Vandreem Imperial Ocean for Frostia- comments as per Junior Bitch

2. Miss I & Mr R King & Jennings – Original Beauty Lady Orleansnow JW (Imp CZE) A pretty bitch, well constructed and in proportion. Displays beautiful featherings and a good reach of neck. Ribs are well sprung, with a pleasing topline. Moved well, showing balance and style, and was very much in tune with her handler.

Post Graduate Bitch (5/2)

1. Mr T W & Mrs A J Gwynne – Rosnorske Royal Azalea She immediately caught my eye on entering the ring. A very feminine and pretty bitch with a sweet expression. Presented in good coat, with correct ears and eyes, and a pleasing reach of neck. Tail set is correct, with good length of leg. Displays beautiful featherings, a firm topline, and well-sprung ribs. Moved around the ring with ease, showing style and presence. RCC.

2. Mrs A & Miss N Kirkwood & Carruthers – Nirvana Prie Svetlicos to Vandreem (Imp LTU) A truly feminine and pretty bitch, presented in good coat. Eyes and ears are correctly set, with well-sprung ribs and pleasing depth of chest. Shows a good reach of neck and a correct tail set. Moved with drive, maintaining balance and style throughout.

1. Mrs C Walton – Rosskaja Donatella Versace Another bitch that caught my eye on entering the ring. She has a sweet, feminine expression and is well constructed and in proportion. Presented in good coat, with a pleasing topline and length of leg. Ribs are well sprung, tail set correct, and pigmentation strong. Displays beautiful featherings. Moved very well, maintaining balance and style.

2. Mrs S, Miss S & Mr R Brandenberg, Smith & Jackson – Novaskaya Yva Lefay by Taronakits JW A very pretty bitch, well constructed and in proportion. Displays a good reach of neck, with well-sprung ribs and a pleasing topline. Ears and eyes are correctly set. Moved very well, showing balance and style throughout.

1. Mrs A J Bee – CH Rosskaja Ginjo Pearl for Snowbiscuit JW This bitch immediately caught my eye on entering the ring. A truly pretty and feminine exhibit with a lovely expression. Presented in a beautiful coat with striking featherings. Well boned, with a good reach of neck, correct eye and ear set, strong pigmentation, and a correct tail set. Displays good depth of chest and well-sprung ribs. She moved around the ring with drive, maintaining her outline and presence. BCC and BOB

2. Mrs R Milne – CH Lumistarr Love Me For Life A lovely expression and a truly pretty, feminine bitch. Well constructed and balanced, presented in good coat. Ears and eyes correctly set, with a pleasing tail set and good reach of neck. Well muscled, with a firm topline. Moved with drive, maintaining style and presence.

2. Mr N & Mrs JD Collinson – CH Nikara Secret Love By Norjack JW A pretty bitch with a lovely expression, presented in good coat with beautiful featherings. Shows a pleasing reach of neck, with correctly set ears and eyes, and a correct tail set. Ribs are well sprung, with good depth of chest. She moved beautifully around the ring, maintaining balance and elegance throughout.
