Firstly, I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for the very kind invitation to judge at this really well organised and well run show. I found everyone to be friendly and helpful. Thanks also for the super hospitality.

Secondly, thank you to Callum and Lynne, my very competent stewards, for keeping everything ticking over so smoothly.

Finally, thank you to the exhibitors for such a super entry of 41 PBGV and 21 GBGV - it was very much appreciated as was the ringside atmosphere - it was lovely to hear clapping and cheering around the ring. I certainly enjoyed my day with you all.

1st – CH TARMACHAN MAC TALLA - RCC

A cracking young male of super quality and type, lovely head with domed skull, moderate stop, eyes of good shape giving bright expression, ears of good length, large dark nose with wide nostrils, good length of neck fitting cleanly into moderate shoulder placement, firm topline with rise over loin, tail nicely set on and carried up, good front with good bone and tight feet, deep in chest with well sprung ribs and short muscular loin, well presented coat of excellent texture. Moved on a good stride and with drive, expertly handled - at 17 months he has a lot more to come I’m sure.

2ND – CH JAYANEL ALFABETI SPAGETI

Larger framed male with super head with kindly expressive eyes, ears nicely set on, good length of neck and well placed shoulders, firm topline, good width of thigh and bend of stifle, good bone and feet, deep and well ribbed, in lovely coat and condition, strode out well.

1ST – NLD/AUS CH TUM TUMS BABA GHANOUSH (ATC BD3290AUS) – CC & BOB

very impressive 2 year old, soundly constructed all through, he is a picture of type, quality, balance and substance, lovely head piece with domed skull, well defined stop, bright eyes, ears of good length with correct curl, very good reach of neck and well placed shoulders with good return of upper arm, firm topline, good tailset and carriage, muscular at rear with good angulation allowing strong driving action, he has very good bone and stands on good feet, deep in chest with correct ribbing and muscular loin of good length, he has an excellent coat of super texture, his movement was a joy to watch he covers the ground so easily, expertly presented and handled.

2ND – CH TARMACHAN TRE VALLI

Not the biggest but so balanced with enough substance, looks well in profile, pleasing in head with good stop, eyes of correct shape, ears of good length, muscular neck, well laid shoulders, firm topline held on the move, good tailset, well constructed at rear, true front with good bone and feet, deep in chest with good ribbing, shown in good coat and condition, moved smartly.

3RD – CH/IR CH CLAELA INFINITY AND BEYOND

1ST – CH/IR CH CLAELA YOU AND I ARE TEAM

Lovely to see this boy looking so well I awarded him the CC a while back. He has a super head with lovely expressive eyes, ears set on below the eye line and of good length reaching past the nose, neck fits cleanly into sloping shoulders with good return of upper arm, firm topline which was held on the move, good tail carriage, and strong rear, very good bone and feet, deep in chest with well sprung ribs and short muscular loin, in excellent coat, moved with reach and drive, well presented and handled. 2ND – CH/IR CH TARMACHAN ICE COOL

9 year old and looking really well, lovely head with domed skull, good ears and set, gentle expressive eyes, muscular neck of good length and adequate shoulder placement, firm topline with good tailset, moderate rear angulation, very good bone and feet, deep and well ribbed, shown in well presented coat, handler tended to over handle him - he looked well without quite so much extra help.

1ST – GOUDOULAIT DU GREFFIER DU ROI AVEC CLAELA

9 month baby, shaping up and developing nicely, pretty head lovely expressive eyes, ears set on well, good pigment, bright dentition, good reach of neck and good topline just a little soft on the move but understandable at this stage, nicely angulated at rear, good bone and feet, body coming on but she has the essentials, lovely coat and moved out well with a bit of attitude which was good to see. Handled to advantage.  BPIB.

JUNIOR

1ST – TIARA DUSZA LESNA AT ARAPELO (IMP POL)

good outline and pleasing head with lovely eyes and ears of good length, adequate forehand angulation, good topline and tail carriage, moderate at rear, good bone and feet, body maturing, moved out well, good coat texture.

2ND – TAMIZA DUSZA LESNA AVEC PAYGUNS (IMP POL)

Longer cast littermate pleasing in head and eye, good earset, moderately angulated fore and aft, again a good coat, needs to tighten all through in movement, carefully handled.

POST GRADUATE

1ST – DUCHESS ZINGY DANDA BOHEMIA (IMP CZE)

very good in outline, lovely head and gentle expressive eyes and ears nicely set on, good length of neck and well placed shoulders, firm topline, good tailset and carriage, well angulated at rear, good bone and feet, body still maturing, lovely coat presentation and texture, moved really well. Once she and her handler learn what is required of them she should do well. Good luck.

1ST – CH TARMACHAN CLOOTIE DUMPLING - BCC

Such a super feminine example of the breed, lovely head with correct proportions, gentle expressive eyes and good leathers reaching past her nose with wide nostrils, muscular neck fitting cleanly into sloping shoulders, firm topline and tail of good length and set carried proudly, well constructed rear, straight front with good bone and tight feet, deep in chest and well sprung ribs with short loin, In good coat and condition very impressive on the move, beautifully presented and handled to advantage.

2ND – CH TARMACHAN D’ORA LIGURE - RBCC

Lovely for type and balance, feminine head with kindly expression and good earset, scores in neck and shoulder, firm topline held on he move, good tail carriage, strong rear, very good bone and feet, deep in chest with good ribbing, short loin, excellent coat and condition, moved with reach and drive, well handled.
