United Kingdom Toydog Society
I was honoured to be invited to judge this Show. Many thanks to the United KIngdom ToyDog Society Committee. I was also so pleased when Papillons had the highest entry, thanks to the exhibitors for making it such an enjoyable day.
The overall quality was high and there were some very difficult classes. Where the quality was even, movement was often the deciding factor. Some were rather wide standing, and this led to pinning in on the move, and there was some close hind action and weak pasterns.
I have awarded CCs to Salukis for many years and they were my first ‘heart’ breed, so it was lovely to be able to award CCs for the second time to Papillons at such a prestigious show, as they are the only other breed to have had such a special place in our hearts and home.
