1st 3018 Lahetyaby Joulukoriste by Oberitz (Ms N J Allison)

Three years old, pleasing, well-proportioned male presenting a typical, slightly longer than tall outline. Masculine head with good proportions, well-placed ears and a lovely, friendly expression. Particularly liked his attentiveness to his owner. Good depth of chest and spring of rib, pleasing topline and good bone and substance. Well set tail, correctly carried over the back on the move and relaxed when standing. Excellent double coat with good undercoat and correct outer coat texture. Beautifully presented and handled. RBD

2nd 3024 Alkantara Talvi Myrsky (T & K Bright)

Five year old, strong masculine male, appearing a little low on leg in his overall proportions. Strong head with a rather pronounced muzzle, lovely friendly expression and excellent attentiveness to his handler. Well-placed ears, good neck, substantial bone and good spring of rib. Correct topline and coat. Did not always carry his tail over his back on the move and was rather sensitive to the sounds in the hall which affected his overall carriage. Very sympathetically handled.

1st 3029 Ch Lappviken Keltainen of Manu JW (Mrs J Whyman & Mr J Murray)

Three-year-old male presenting a typical, slightly rectangular outline with good overall balance. Masculine, well-proportioned head with excellent ear placement and a lovely, characteristic expression. Good length of neck, depth and breadth of chest with ample bone and substance. Well-set tail, carried correctly over the back on the move. Excellent double coat with particularly good texture to the outer coat. Particularly impressed with his profile movement, displaying a free, brisk and effortless gait. Beautifully presented and handled. BD & BOB

2nd 3019 Ch Oberitz Kaamoksen Ruhtinas JW (Ms N J Allison)

Six-year-old male, slightly squarer in outline than the winner and not carrying his full coat today. Masculine head with a broad bridge of nose, well-placed ears and a lovely, typical expression enhanced by his endearing attentiveness to his handler. Good depth and breadth of chest, ample bone and balanced angulation. Well-set tail. Would prefer slightly stronger pasterns, as he tends to toe in a little when coming towards but moves freely and effortlessly in profile. Beautifully handled.

1st 3025 Thistleglen Fred (T & K Bright)

Eleven year old male in fabulous condition for his age, looking and moving like a much younger dog. Pleasing, breed-typical outline with a strong masculine head and good depth and breadth of chest. Particularly liked his attentiveness to his handler, retaining the friendly and interested expression so characteristic of the breed. Still moves with enthusiasm and ease. A real credit to his owners for keeping him in such wonderful condition. BV

Fourteen-month-old cream bitch presenting a correct slightly longer than high outline. Pretty, feminine head with well-placed ears, dark eyes and a sweet, alert expression enhanced by her attentiveness to her handler. Self-coloured nose compatible with her coat colour. A little fine in bone and substance and currently lacking some outer coat. Good topline and tail set, with moderately angulated hindquarters. Moves well in profile displaying a brisk effortless action. Very sympathetically handled. BSB

As above.

2nd 3027 Lounatuuli Aurora Lyyra (Miss K Ellis & Mr M Crosby)

Fourteen month old, cream bitch presenting a feminine outline. Nicely proportioned head with well-placed ears and a typical expression. Good tail set and correct coat for her age. Still needs to develop more depth and breadth of chest, being a little narrow in front at present. Tends to stand rather east-west and is a little untidy coming towards. Needs time to develop and strengthen through her forequarters.

1st 3028 Starlapps Javri JW (Mrs J & Mr B Isherwood)

Two-year-old bitch presenting an outline with good overall breed type. Lovely feminine head with well-placed ears and a characteristic, alert expression enhanced by her keen interest in her handler. Good bone and substance, which I preferred over the second, with an excellent double coat, well conditioned and presented. Moves true coming and going, with effortless movement in profile. Very well handled.

1st 3023 Ch Limishka Kareitar JW (Miss K L Anderson & Mrs S Nardone)

Six-year-old bitch presenting an outline with good overall balance. Lovely feminine head with the strength required in the breed, well-placed ears and a typical expression enhanced by her attentiveness to her handler. Good bone and substance with pleasing depth and breadth of chest. Tail carried over the back throughout with an excellent double coat. Particularly impressed with her front movement, coming towards true and with a brisk and effortless profile action. A very breed-typical bitch with much to like. BB

2nd 3020 Ch Oberitz Tumma Ruhtinatar (Ms N J Allison)

Six years old, another pleasing feminine bitch with a well-proportioned head, lovely ears and a typical, alert expression. Particularly liked her attentiveness to her handler. Good neck, spring of rib and bone with moderately angulated hindquarters. Pleasing overall construction, although a little untidy coming towards today. Just preferred the more positive and accurate front movement of the winner, which decided the placings. Very well presented and handled. RBB
