COLLIE (SMOOTH)

Frank Kane (Hirontower) a quality entry with 27 exhibits presents. It is always a pleasure to judge the breed and to see their soundness and excellent temperaments. A very good open dog class and some very good depth of quality in the females. Many thanks to my stewards Sharon and Ken

1 THOMAS & LUSTY Blamorder Side Hustle With Mournebrake JW 2 year old tricolour in lovely condition. He is well balanced with good skull, nice finish to the foreface and good eyes giving a sweet expression. He is sound on the move, but his tail carriage could be better,

2 METCALF Koczkodan Well I Never. A three year old who would look more balanced with more body on him. as he is a little narrow throughout. He has a refined head, which needs a little more. fill to the for face,. He is light on his feet, but his movement would be better with more chests and substance throughout.

OD (7, 1)

1 NORMAN & HAYWARD Ch Wynele Double Trouble At Foxearth – a two year old sable scoring in. balance and in his excellent movements. He has a quality refined but masculine head of good balance,. His eye could be a shade darker. Well. constructed throughout which gives him this long, ground, covering stride and firm hocks on the mov with good tail carrage. Full of quality and stood away here. Won the CC comfortably but, for best of breed the bitch was more alert and used her ears mor effectively.

2 HOWE Lizoni The Drifter – RDCC 3 Year Old tricolour who was beautifully constructed with excellent shoulder and upper arm angulation giving him good movements but I preferred the leg length of the winner. I liked his headplanes but his eye could be a shade darker I thought he had a lot of type and quality.
