Richmond Championship Dog Show

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels

Thank you for the very good entry of 125 exhibits which contained some quality dogs Sadly on the reverse side of the coin there were some with major faults in conformation as well as balance. I found some which were too long in back or short in the leg for balance .However I found many typical toy spaniels.Presentation in the majority was excellent

Many thanks to my stewards.

1 WIMBERLEY & NEWMAN Trishine's Celestial Dream With Finjaro blenheim of almost 10 years old, excellent head type, large dark eyes. A little long in body. Sound action. Topline and tailset could be better.

MPD (3, 1)

1 YEATES Merryanna Stand By Me 7-month-old blenheim scored in balance and front movement. Excellent conformation. Flat skull, eyes could be a little larger. Good ribcage and tailset. Rear movement a touch close at the moment but he is still a baby..

2 WILKINS & WILCOCK Tebaldi Bohemian Rhapsody 9-month-old ruby with lovely head. Now looks long for balance and maturity of body will help that. Lovely coat and presentation. Loose in front at the moment but has time to firm up there.

1 NOLAN Jernito King Of Hearts BPIB 10-month-old of good proportions and movement, topline and tailset. Excellent head and eyes. Carrying a lot of puppy coat so he is a little pale in colour. However, he had much to like. High quality puppy who was my choice for Best Puppy

2 BENNETT Charnavale Touch Of Charm At Remmya 10-month-old. A quality dog of rich colour. Flat skull but stop a little deep. Good muzzle.. He needs time to develop in rib.. He moved soundly and accurately and can settle in tail carriage as he gains experience.

2 CASE Ginajay Firecrest 15-month-old blenheim.I would prefer a little more leg to balance him but won this place on head, ribs topline and movement. Excellent rich colour.

2 CHADWICK Ellemich Love Bomb At Chadlia 10-month-old very pretty head and eyes. Looked my winner at first sight as she is .more mature in rib and with good bone. She was carrying too much body on the day which accentuated her being low on the leg for balance and made her soft in the topline .Will have better days.
