It was an honour to be asked by the parent club the AHA to Judge at this show especially as I was a member of the committee for 18 years in various roles including Hon Secretary, it mean’t so much. I was delighted with my entry both in quality and numbers coming from all over the country. I thank everyone who travelled miles to give me the pleasure of going over their exquisite exhibits in these expensive times. We have some lovely representatives of our breed and many strong lines which can only enhance the breeding of the future. I am so proud to see the breed that I love be able to continue for years to come. To the exhibitors I thank you for taking my decisions so gracefully and to my two professional stewards Liz & Sue for keeping the ring running smoothly. My only wish was to be able to award more red cards and to those exhibitors who didn’t get one keep going and remember it is only one judges opinion and on a different day it could always be a different result.

Lovely Brindle boy has a masculine head & dark eye. Nice length of neck strong level toplineBalanced angles which gives him a nice overall shape. Moves around the ring showing good reach and drive BVD

2nd Appleby Minchin Edwards & Mulvaney Ir /Int/Ch Valkor Vritra Jch, CJW18

Another nice brindle veteran who has all the attributes of one, moved around the ring with style head and tail raised in action.

1st Muir’s Unstoppable You’re Welcome ( imp swe )

Stood alone but well deserved his placement, B/S baby who was very confident on the move. Very raw at the moment but showed considerable promise, refined masculine head, dark eye with good under jaw. Overall confirmation excellent with deep chest, level topline and ringed tail. Good muscle tone and attitude which showed in his movement.

1st Kirk, Vickers & Mottershaw Istani Robert De Niro with Elagance 

B/M gold at that in between age has a masculine head with dark well shaped eye, deep chest and good spring of rib. Matching angles both for and aft with ring tail and moved well.

Class 4 JD ( 4 ) 

1st Cheeseman’s Cloudside Golden Fleece at Zaram

This S/M gold has a lovely head & dark eye with oriental expression. Long neck balanced front and rear angulation, good depth of chest level topline with correct tail set. Unfortunately his handler took a tumble but luckily another exhibitor took over and showed his lovely movement and temperament.

2nd Stainsby’s Cloudside Alpine Sunset with Carmenote.

Another nice pale gold litter brother to one, has similar qualities good construction a little bit loose in the movement at the moment but sure he will muscle up and improve with time.

1st House & Hinchcliffe Cloudside Soul Prince for Jodak ( JW )

Very flashy B/S under a heavy coat did not disappoint, long neck leading to well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm. Sweeping hindquarters which he uses to cover the ground with ease good ringed tail held proudly on the move. Moved with purpose and attitude, liked him a lot and considered him for higher awards.

2nd Gleed & Mcpherson Chinzaes Tartan Tiger

This young brindle dog catches your eye straight away on the stack, he has great substance and everything is in the right place. Excellent shoulder & upper arm, deep chest and spring of rib. Lovely rear quarters with nice fall away and ringed tail. Well presented with a lovely powerful stride on the move.

Pleasing S/M cream nice overall shape with matching angles, played his handler up on the move but showed enough to give him the class

Similar to one head more refined pleasing outline moved soundly with tail raised in action.

1st Bellringer’s Cloudside Prince of Theives at Johda ( JW )

S/M gold boy in super coat and condition, masculine head with no hint of coarseness well balanced overall construction held his head and tail proud when on the move and sound coming and going. Lots to like about this boy.

2nd Bovey’s Sitana Infinity Stone at Karianca 

Another nice B/M cream who didn’t disappoint when going over him, well constructed throughout, good fall away with correct tail set moved soundly with head and tail raised in action.

1st Gilchrist & Maclenna Khawari Purple Reign 

All cream hound male sporting a lovely saddle not a flashy boy but sound throughout. Has a masculine head with dark eye and lovely pigmentation, strong neck leading to well constructed front chest of good proportions deep and giving plenty of heart room. Level topline correct fallaway and finished of with well set ringed tail. Moved with lovely easy strides. RCC

2nd Gray’s Rhajikhan Walking on Water 

Upstanding brindle who has a lovely outline. Head of correct proportions, strong neck leading to level topline with prominent hipbones. Well muscled with head and tail held proudly on the move. Moved soundly with style.

1st Gizewska’s Shahfoladi Thunder Bird ( AI )

Have judged this very nice B/T before when he was younger. He has developed into a very nice hound with a lovely head and expression, long foreface dark eye and balanced skull. Long neck flowing into well balanced front and rear angulation, giving a level topline and nice overall shape. Well muscled and moved with power and drive covering the ground with ease.

A houndy boy good masculine head with long strong neck, nicely made front and well angled rear big feet and moves well covering the ground,

Gold boy of good substance balanced head with dark eye and strong underjaw. Well laid shoulders and good return to upper arm. Deep chest and well muscled rear angulation, big feet and moved well.

2nd Peek-Matar Yansukhim’s Sherbert Fizz

Black boy taller than one, well constructed throughout good bone strength and substance to him. Masculine head firm topline and well muscled which shows in his sound stylish movement.

3rd Heritage’s Amaserwah Anyway the Wind Blows at Jazzmeenah ( IKC )

What a lovely class of different types, those unplaced were by no means disgraced and places could well change on a different day.

1st Lee’s Altside Micah Hot Prophet ( JW )

S/M Cream built on finer lines but no mistaking this dogs masculinity. Lovely head, good length of foreface which is nicely chiselled, dark eye and pigmentation. Long neck leading into well laid shoulders and excellent return of upper arm. Deep chest well angled rear and low set hocks, strong loin good fallaway and correct set tail. Lovely silky coat and condition presented to perfection. He demands attention and has great ring presence covering the ground with reach and drive with the desired springy gait. His handler does everything to bring the best out of this boy and his overall performance shone on the day. I was pleased to award him the CC and BIS.

2nd Pascoe’s Ch/Int/Lux/Nld Ch Popovs Aladdin at Sarakhan ( imp Nld )

B/M Gold I have judged this boy before and he has just got better and better. Masculine head beautifully presented coat with natural saddle of correct texture. Long neck leading into well laid shoulders with good return of upper arm. Deep chest , strong loin and well angulated rear. He carries himself proudly on the move covering the ground with reach and drive and the desired stylish springy gait.

Always loved this deep gold girl, ultra feminine with a beautiful head and dark eye. Long neck with compact body and excellent front and rear angulation. Strong loin with good fallaway and tail carriage. This girl moved with style and panache belying her 10 years of age, handled and presented to perfection. BVIS

What a poppet, a very confident little B/S bitch, feminine head, dark eye everything in the right place displaying excellent overall balance. Good angulation front and rear level topline good fallaway and tail set. Covers the ground with ease and enjoyed her day.

2nd Harrison’s Merveile De Aikhanoum (imp fra )

Another super puppy B/M cream slightly taller than one houndy outline pretty head with good chiselling nothing exaggerated. Another one who covers the ground with a light springy action. Should change place during her long career.

Loved this eye catching B/S girl, feminine head, long neck leading to well placed shoulders and good return of upper arm. Firm topline and strong loin, good sweep from hip to hock love her overall shape. On the move she is sound and moves out well covering the ground with ease. Should develop to be a lovely representative of the breed.

Brindle litter sister to one. Feminine girl strong neck leading into well laid shoulders good bone throughout level topline correct tails set and carriage moved well.

Very nice black girl presented a lovely outline on the stand. Strong neck and loin giving a level topline. Good depth of chest, good bone and nice feet liked her overall proportions. Moved well with a nice springy gait just coming into her own.

2nd Hirst Ayoubkhan Snow Cloud 

Different type to one finer throughout self masked cream good overall balance holding her topline on the move. Prominent hipbones ringed tail not as happy on the move as one.

Excellent quality Brindle girl who looks lovely stacked. Has a beautiful head and expression with a dark triangular eye. Compact in stature and has a long neck, well laid shoulders, level topline and good spring of rib. Well muscled throughout and strong loin with good fallaway and correct tail set. I have seen this Bitch several times but unfortunately hasn’t impressed on the move before, but today she pulled out all the stops, light easy movement covering the ground with ease. Pleased to award her BCC and Res BIS

2nd Lancashire & O’Donnell’s Drishaun What Baby Wants JW

Eye catching shaded masked red fabulous breed type. Presented a lovely profile standing, balanced head with dark eye and low set ears. Her strong neck leads into well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm with balanced rear angulation and level topline together with a natural saddle gives a pleasing picture. Moved well and covered the ground.

Stood alone but well deserved her win, Houndy Brindle with a balanced head, dark eye and Strong under jaw . Well laid shoulders good depth of chest and well ribbed. Balanced angles both for and aft, nice fallaway with correct tail set and carriage. In excellent coat moved soundly with drive and extension giving a stylish true movement.

Silver Brindle beautiful feminine head & expression. Long foreface low set ears and nice chiselling. Long neck, well placed shoulders and level topline. Prominent hipbones, good fallaway and ringed tail. Good sweep from hip to hock giving a beautiful shape on the stack. Moved soundly with a lovely springy gait covering the ground. RBCC

Have always admired this S/M cream girl litter sister to one, has similar qualities and loved her standing but just unlucky to meet a more confident one on the move today.

A super girl sporting a deep red saddle and silky coat. Beautiful outline on the stack, feminine head and dark eye, long fore face she has a balanced conformation and level topline good fallaway and correct ring tail. I was disappointed that she wasn’t as happy on the move as I have seen her before. Found out later that she had had a bad experience under another judge but she did enough to win this strong class.

2nd Hedge’s Unstoppable Happy go Lucky ( ai, imp swe ) 

Have judged this girl before so well constructed she oozes type, quality and style. Well bodied with big feet would have liked more enthusiasm today but unfortunately did not display the power of movement I know she is capable of.
