It’s always an honour to judge a club show, thankyou for the invite. I’d like to thank my stewards for helping with the smooth running of the show & the exhibitors for giving me the chance to judge your super dogs, thoroughly enjoyed my day despite the showers, made more bearable by the sunshine in-between which helped dry us out.

Mpd(1) 1.O’Donoghue’s Hundwith Northern Lights at Weimsmyre at just 6mths he’s as you’d expect, a real baby; attractive head of good proportions, pleasing length of upperarm & good depth to forechest for his age, ribs well back, really enjoying himself which is lovely to see, carries himself confidently showing an efficient stride. Pd(1) 1.Duffy’s Minstergate Horizon 11 mth young man developing well, attractive head with a kind expression & correct earset, clean neck, pleasing shoulder placement & good return of upperarm, depth to brisket, good turn of stifle & strength through hock which showed on the move, has a sound front action with good reach & holds a strong topline. Bpd. J(5,1) 1.Dobbs’ Theondale Hopeful Heart JW promising young male of good type, loved his clean balanced outline, still developing and naturally more immature than some at this stage, however he has everything there, pleasing head with correct expression and good eye colour, correct front assembly and adequate depth of chest for age, well angulated quarters, he moved soundly with good reach and drive, covering the ground with ease, looked super in the challenge & although a little less mature than some I had to award him RCC & eventually RBIS. 2.1st pd. 3.Pearman’s Weipowa Shaken Not Stirred to Britmans. Yd(5,1) 1.Charlish’s Gunalt The Morning After young man who is maturing well, head of good planes but would prefer a little more stop, strong neckline, not the depth of forechest of some but still has time for this to develop further, pleasing spring & length to ribcage, strong quarters with adequate angulation, moves confidently holding a good topline. 2.Gutherie’s Sireva Mayhem pale med sz boy, well balanced throughout, preferred his head & expression to 1, decent front assembly & depth of forechest, little shorter in rib & longer in loin than 1 & as such he didn’t hold his topline as well as 1 on the move. 3.Kerslake’s Sabsky Karlstejn. Md(2,1) 1.Murray’s Silberliss Secret Oktober, built on a larger frame & as such will take longer to fill it, attractive head with good pigment, good length of upperarm, adequate depth of forechest but a little narrow at the moment, ribs well back & strong through quarters, in profile he has really good reach & drive but quite untidy coming & going needing to tighten up all through, he does have plenty of time. Nd(1) 1.repeat Md. Gd(2) 1.Pearman’s W. Shaken Not Stirred to Britmans. Masculine head, super front assembly, depth throughout, neat tight feet, ribs well sprung, good bend of stifle & hocks well let down, in fit condition, he seemed more relaxed in this class & so not roaching as he did in his previous class holding a much better topline, moves with power & an accurate footfall. 2. Kerslake’s S. Karlstejn not the maturity of 1 at the moment & narrower all through but I preferred his head to 1, pleasing over the skull, gentle expression & lovely earset, super layback of shoulder & good length of upperarm, he’s maturing slowly but as it should be, moves confidently just needs time for it all to come together. PG(1) 1. 2nd in Gd. Ld(8,2) 1.Sayer’s Braefell Blackthorn JW not a big boy but so well proportioned & balanced throughout, pleasing masculine head with an alert expression, strong clean neck into shoulders that are well placed, adequate length of upperarm, stands on super tight feet, well ribbed, strong quarters with decent turn of stifle, moves true with reach & drive, unfortunately spoilt himself a little on the stack having a tendency to pull into his neck detracting from the overall outline, never the less a worthy class winner. 2.Tierney’s Harelferg Hudson well put together boy with good angles fore & aft, pleasing head planes, strong neck with slight arch, good spring to ribs which extend well back, short strong loin, not the condition of some & carrying some extra weight today which gave him a slight roll on the move but has front extension & adequate drive also true coming & going so deserved his place. 3.Rintoul’s Sireva First Edition. Od(4) 1.Simpson’s Ch Sireva Emeyefive JW SGWC super fit med sz boy who is in fabulous condition & well balanced throughout, pleasing head proportions but to be picky would prefer a little more stop, text book front assembly, super length, strong loin, typical over the croup & correct tailset, strong well muscled quarters with adequate turn of stifle, moves with ease showing good reach & drive, just missed out on top honours. 2.Bennett’s Cavalmist Cosworth different type & a little shorter than 1 but a lot of qualities to admire, loved his kind expression, good layback of shoulder & adequate length of upperarm, pleasing depth to forechest & well ribbed, good bend of stifle, substance throughout without being coarse, another in good fit condition, he covered the ground effortlessly holding a strong topline & carrying his tail well. 3.Charlish’s ShCh Gunalt The Hangover. Vd(3) 1.Kerr’s ShCh Kalimor Hudson JW a boy I did well for when he was younger, still has the attributes I admired then, such a handsome boy, good layback of shoulder, pleasing height to length ratio, balanced angles fore & aft, he moves out with reach & drive holding a pleasing topline, his more fluid movement gave him this class & BVIS. 2.Mcmahon’s IrShCh Silverkelvin Jupiter over Magdala VW Cw22 attractive pale boy who has a lot to admire, super depth of forechest, pleasing return of upperarm, well ribbed, strong quarters in amazing condition for his 8.5 yrs, moves with strength on a good stride. 3. Maclaine & Dickinson’s Grey spirit Rock Star from Hantzburg JW ShCEx OSW VW. Chd(1) 1.Hill’s Weipowa Double O’ Seven JW a masculine, well-balanced male of excellent type, shows stamina and athleticism throughout, noble head with kind eyes & a lovely expression, strong neck into well laid shoulders, firm topline and deep chest with good spring of rib, well angulated quarters, moved with effortless reach and drive, maintaining a level topline, presented in hard fit condition, a very worthy champion, DCC & BIS. Bpb(1) 1.Kerr’s Brownbank Florentine what a promising little poppet she is, head developing as you’d expect, well boned, compact feet, pleasing front assembly & depth, quarters have adequate angulation, she moves so true & steady for her 4mths, will look forward to seeing how she matures. Mpb(2) 1.Charlish’s Gunalt remembrance of Harelferg 6mth feminine girl with a pleasing head and expression, good length of neck, clean shoulders and sufficient forechest for age, well ribbed with correct topline and tailset, decent turn of stifle, she’s well balanced throughout & moved soundly with good reach and drive, covering the ground with an accurate footfall for a youngster, preferred her length of upperarm to the pb winner which gave her bpb & her more positive front action earned her BPIS over the pd. 2.West’s Gunalt Reverence litter sister to 1 & another promising puppy, loved her cheeky expression, similar comments to 1 but she is a little rangier at the moment & as such not quite as balanced or as true in movement, she has everything there though & plenty of time. Pb(3) 1.Rodger’s Minstergate Celebration nearly 12mth old this girl has a lovely head with an endearing expression, clean strong neck into well placed shoulders, adequate depth at this age, good spring of ribs, strong quarters, moves true there & back but would prefer a little more reach in profile. 2.Suet’s Silberliss Diamond Cut 9mth bitch, feminine head with classic earset, super shoulder placement & length of upperarm, balanced hind angulation, good depth of body and well-ribbed, she was carrying excess weight today which affected her overall balance and outline giving a somewhat deep and heavy appearance, this unfortunately caused her to roll on the move, she does however have good reach & drive & an accurate footfall. 3. 2nd in mpb. Jb(3) 1.Pilatova’s Sabsky Spilberg this pale feminine girl doesn’t immediately catch your attention, however on further examination I found her to fit the standard well, moderate, well placed shoulders, good return of upperarm, adequate depth of forechest, ribs well back & strong quarters that balanced well with her front angles, handler has a tendency to overstretch her which can sometimes make her look a little straight but with a little adjustment she looked super, she moved accurately & efficiently no flash but so right, in the challenge she didn’t put a foot wrong & was more than happy to award her RBCC. 2.Charlish’s Harelferg Happy Hour, pretty girl with good pigment, another that is well constructed throughout, tight, tidy feet, balanced throughout, strong topline, a lot to like, has reach & drive but not quite as tidy coming & going as 1. 3.Lord & Broomfield’s Chilternway Coriandrum. Yb(3,1) 1.Simpson’s Sireva Maze, my notes say ‘really old fashioned type’, loved her soft expression, enhanced by super earset, strong neck into decent shoulders, good length & spring of rib, width to 2nd thigh, covers the ground on an easy true stride. 2. Rayner & Maskell’s Enjager Elegance for Brownbank JW, on initial look I thought she could be my winner, although a little heavier built than 1 she is still feminine, well balanced fore & aft, super length & depth in fit condition & a super metallic sheen to her coat, unfortunately she didn’t move as well as I know she can today, looking a little erratic & not overly settled. Mb(2) repeat of Pb. Nb(2) repeat. GB(3) 1.Hostler’s Theondale High Hopes JW pleasant head of good planes, well boned, good depth of brisket, well sprung ribs, correct over croup with good tail set, adequate hind angulation, strength through hocks, moves true coming & going. 2. L & B’s C. Coriandrum soft gentle expression on this girl, preferred front construction & overall depth on 1 but still a lot to like, she has good length & spring of rib, strong quarters with decent turn of stifle, moves confidently with good hind propulsion. PGb(3) 1.Sayer & Wallwork’s Braefell Briar JW well balanced feminine girl in super condition, loved her head & expressive eyes, strong neck with slight arch, front assembly well constructed with pleasing shoulder placement & return of upperarm, good depth of brisket, forechest not quite as deep as some but she still has time, short strong loin, well muscled quarters with correct bend of stifle, moves how her construction suggests, feel she just needs a bit more time to fulfill her real potential. 2.Hostler’s Theondale Margot JW, built on a larger frame but still feminine & balanced, lovely head & pleasing expression, good length of upperarm & depth throughout, ribs well sprung, holds a level topline on the move but not as strong as 1 moving away. 3.L & B’s C. Coriandrum. Lb(7,2) 1.Moore’s Theondale Mave The Rave at Cavalmist, mature well boned girl who has an attractive head of good proportions & a gentle expression, lowset ears, strong clean neck, well developed forechest & pleasing length of upperarm, ribs well back, strong quarters which she really used on the move, it was her more precise & efficient movement that won her this class. 2.Suett’s Silberliss Saucy Mare JW, preferred this girls type & size, she has a lovely head & is balanced throughout, unfortunately not in her best jacket & although she looks super on the move in profile she wasnt quite as tidy coming as her construction promised, nevertheless deserved her place. 3.Maskell & Rayner’s Brownbank Willow with Raystans JW. Ob(6,1) 1.Simpson’s Sireva Emseesee, although she doesn't scream look at me you can’t ignore her, loved her type & sz & she’s so balanced, typical feminine head with a gentle expression, shoulders well placed & pleasing return of upperarm, lovely depth & length of ribbing, short strong loin & well developed quarters with just the right amount of angulation, in super condition throughout, she moved out with reach & drive covering the ground efficiently, more than happy to award her the BCC. 2.Pilatova’s Sabsky Svratka JW a lot of similar remarks to 1, a little stronger all through but retains her femininity, I particularly like this girls head & kind eyes, she moves out well on a lovely stride, driving well from strong quarters, just not quite as tidy as 1 coming towards today. 2.Hill’s Weipowa Ida JW. VB(6) 1.O’Keeffe’s Gunalt Instrumental to Baltovein Jch JD well balanced honest 7yr old who is good for type & construction, gentle expression on an appealing head, has substance & depth throughout, pleasing front assembly & ribs that are well sprung, correct angulation to strong quarters, she was the most efficient mover in this class, covering plenty of ground on a lovely even stride. 2.Maclaine & Dickinson’s Greyspirit Purdue JW ShCex VW CJw17 CW22 CVW24 feminine 10yr old who belies her yrs plenty of breed type & appealing head, balanced clean outline, just preferred front construction & depth of forechest on 1, she moves with a true footfall holding a strong topline. 3.Hostler’s ShCh Kalimor Daisy JW. Chb(3,1) 1.Suett’s ShCh Silberliss Solitaire love her type, sz & depth, heavier type than some bitches but still so feminine, classic head & expression with a lovely ears that frame it perfectly, strong neck & the best of fronts, strong perfectly angulated hindquarters, moves how her construction would suggest with super reach & drive & so true coming & going, unfortunately she was just a little heavy today & not in her best jacket otherwise would have been a contender for top honours. 2.West’s ShCh Gunalt Wavelength JW ShCex OSW feminine girl who is good for type & balance, pretty head strong clean neck, pleasing depth throughout & ribs well back, strong quarters with good turn of stifle, she was in overall better condition today than 1 but preferred the front construction on the winner which gave her the better reach, nevertheless a sound mover. Sl/h (1) 1.Read’s NldCh Phoebe Du Tango Des Neiges Eternelles Avec White cross(imp Fr) Feminine longhair in full coat with adequate furnishings, she was a lot more settled in this class & doesn’t act like a veteran at all, lovely eye shape on a pretty head, enough depth of forechest, well boned & stands on neat tight feet, good spring of ribs, correct over croup which gives her a pleasing tail carriage, strong through hock, moves with enthusiasm with a good footfall.
