I’d like to thank the committee and my very capable Stewards for making this such a lovely day. I’d also like to thank the exhibitors for bringing their lovely girls for me to judge. I have to say that overall I was exceptionally pleased with the quality of the entry and in some cases, limit and open being notable, I could’ve given out double the prize cards. 

Minor Puppy Bitch (9 entered, 1 absent)

1. Coopers’ BALLAUREN’S DIAMOND 7 months fawn and white trim bitch with a lovely head and expression. Beautiful neck into shoulders, What a very pretty baby! Good top and underline with good rear, sound and easy on the move and handled to perfection. Best puppy bitch and on agreement with my co judge BPIS.

2. Jones, Jones, and Perrys’ OSTERFEN ITZZURA WITH CHELYNNAH Six month bitch, very raw fawn and white. Beautiful expression and pigmentation. Good neck into shoulder, preferred the lay of shoulder to first. Needs to develop top line but a good underline so I’m sure the top line will come with maturity. Moved lovely and freely when settled. 

Puppy Bitch (13, 4)

1. Johnston and Wilsons DANLUKE LEGS ELEVEN Pale fawn with dark pigment , prettiest of heads and expression. Good neck and into shoulder, good bone and pasterns. Nice top and underline. Lovely movement, so free and accurate in all directions.   

2. Mycroft, Spademan, Morris and Waddells’ SUPETAS TOO GLAM TO GIVA A DAMN WITH CROSSCOP Lovely head, expression, good neck into shoulders. Beautiful topline, good bone, nice rear angulation. Just moved a tad wide in front

Junior Bitch (8, 4)

1. Gores’ SILKRIDGE BRIGHTER VISION FOR HELSIM Fawn brindle, dark pigment with lovely expression, well placed ears, nice neck and shoulder. Good top and underline. True movement, accurate in all directions

2. Ryans’ RIOCIFE TO THE MOON AND BACK Pale fawn and brindle of lovely type. A little more upright in shoulder than first. Has good top and underline. Powerful mover with plenty of drive from rear.  

Yearling Bitch (6, 2) 

1. Morris, Waddell, Spademan and Mycrofts’ CH CROSSCOP TEMPTATION TO SUPETA Pale fawn brindle with a beautiful head and expression, dark melting eyes, lovely neck into clean shoulders. Good depth, nice bone, good top and underline. Has a powerful rear, moved with drive and purpose

2. Ryans’ RIOCIFE TO THE MOON AND BACK See 2nd in Junior

Novice Bitch (10, 1)

1. Gores’ SILKRIDGE BRIGHTER VISION FOR HELSIM See 1st in Junior

2. Coopers’ BALLAUREN’S YOU GOT IT Shaded fawn with white trim. Lovely dark pigment, beautiful head and expression. Moved well in all directions, needs to develop more in top line as a little flat on the move.  

Undergraduate Bitch (7, 2)

1. Arbuthnots’ LOLANI CRYSTAL MOON Fawn brindle of lovely type. Lovely head and expression. Very nice front with good lay of shoulder. Good top and underline. Nice back end, moved accurately and with drive and purpose.

2. Coopers’ BALLAUREN’S YOU GOT IT See 2nd in Novice

 Graduate Bitch

1. Cahill and Timberlakes’ ARDENCOTE DANCE A DREAM AT CHIPPERLAKE JW Pale fawn with white trim of excellent breed type. Beautiful head and expression, lovely neck into shoulders. Nice depth to chest, good underline and topline. Good in rear, moved accurately in all directions and with reach and drive

2. Broughs’ CROSSCOP FANTASY AT LIMUBOX Fawn brindle bitch of lovely type, nice head and expression. Good neck into shoulder. Lovely depth, good underline, nice rear and like one moved accurately with reach and drive

Post Graduate Bitch (14, 5)

1. Perkins and Van Der Schaffs’ SILKRIDGE MISTLETOE SMOOCH Red fawn with white trim. Beautiful breed type, lovely dark eye and pigment. Good neck into shoulders. Lovely front with good bone and pasterns. Good topline and underline. Nice angulation behind, moved accurately in all directions

2. Carlton and Olneys’ CHIENDETOM MELODY Red brindle bitch of lovely type. Nice head, good ear placement, strong underjaw, good neck into shoulder. Lovely depth, nice top and underline. Sweeping rear, moved with drive and purpose.

Limit Bitch (17, 1)

1. Blakes’ CRÈME ANGLAISE’S TOO HOT TO HANDLE FOR MAZARGO JW (Imp Nld) Red brindle and white bitch of outstanding type, beautiful head, and expression. Smooth flowing lines of neck into shoulders, topline and underline flowing. Feminine throughout, lovely rear, moved soundly in all directions and with ease and style. RBCC

2. Longhursts’ ABBEYHURST DANCING QUEEN JW Blue fawn bitch of beautiful type again. Picture perfect outline, lovely head, beautiful angulation throughout. Good top and underline, just preferred the drive and reach of first.   

Open Bitch (12, 1)

1. CROSSCOP CALIFORNIA BARBIE FROM SUPETA JW Pale fawn of exception quality, unrivalled for movement. Beautiful head and expression. Lovely angulation throughout. Good depth, lovely top and underline. Moved by far the best of the day with reach and drive. Outstanding bitch BCC and BIS in agreement with my co-judge

2. CH CRÈME ANGLAISE’S ENTOURAGE WITH SILKRIDGE JW Pale fawn brindle bitch, different type to winner but still outstanding quality. Lovely head, nice top and underline, good bone. Moved out with reach and drive

Veteran Bitch (10, 2)

1. Bowshers’ ZORADEN FIFTY SHADES DARKER JW Beautiful black bitch of excellent breed type. Silhouette is the epitome of a whippet. Beautiful head, lovely front angulation, good depth, topline and underline. Good rear, moved freely and accurately in all directions. Best veteran bitch and on agreement with my co judge BVIS.

2. Williams’ TIGISLE ITS ABOUT TIME Fawn with white trim, lovely expression with good neck into shoulders. Lovely depth, excellent top and underline. Good rear, moved nicely in all directions, just preferred the freedom of front movement in winner. 

Open Racing/Lure Coursing Bitch ( 4, 0)

1. Bowshers’ ZORADEN FIFTY SHADES DARKER JW See 1st in Veteran Best Racing/Lure Coursing bitch and on agreement with my co judge Best Racing/Lure Coursing in Show

2. Arbuthnots’ LOLANI CRYSTAL MOON see 1st in Undergraduate

Special Beginners (14, 1)

1. Coopers’ BALLAUREN’S YOU GOT IT See 2nd in Novice. Best Special Beginners bitch and on agreement of my co judge Best Special Beginners In Show

2. Robinsons’ WHIPPINESS TORNADO TAKEOFF Blue and white bitch of lovely breed type. Nice head and expression. Good neck into shoulders, lovely depth. Good bone, nice top and underline. Good rear angulation, moved well in all directions.
