1 st Jacob Perfitt-Jones ( Alaskan Malamute ) This young man is a very impressive young handler he was well presented as was his dog he took such big strides to really get the best from this dog he was really at one with this dog and in total control in both moving and correctly standing his dog watched him in the veteran group with this dog and wow he looked like one of the best handlers in the group should have a very bright future indeed well done !

2 nd Elli McGill ( German Shepherd dog ) A dog who moved really well for this handler lines were precise and the dog was stood well and corrected quickly when moving a leg and well presented when asked to free stand at the end well done

1 st Chantelle Stuart (Alaskan Malamute ) This young lady is such a confident young handler and im sure she will be in great demand one of the best triangles I saw in the 4 days so precise on movement and pace of the dog I liked she talked to the dog encouraging it ,well placed when standing her dog equally as good on the free stand

2 nd Matilda Memmott ( Shetland Sheepdog )  A great young handler who has the talent to change dogs on differant days yet still maintain a great repore with her dog and is capable of moving her dog depending on breed at the correct pace I feel she has a lovely connection with dogs and was watching me the judge at all times close second

Y K C 18 - 24 yrs  2 entries 1 absent

1 st Maja Ratajewski ( German Shepherd Dog ) A lovely handler who handled the dog gently to settle then powered around the ring her lines were good and correct change to place the dog to the judges eye when going around the ring she had the dogs attention at all times well done

1st Sophie Devakumar  ( golden Retreiver ) This young lady is a star in the making well turned as was her dog she had such a repore with this dog and was able to make it look easy i have seen her around the open shows handling and as they say practise makes perfect so it is defiantly paying off ! Good lines and was aware of the judge at all times switching when necessary well done

2 nd Florence Varty- Lindsay ( Flat Coated Retriever ) This class had such talent in it another lovely handler was firm but in a kind way with her dog as can be a challenging breed so exuberant she settled this dog well and then moved out at a good pace checking consistently the dog was performing free standing was excellent .

3 rd Ava Oddie  I had to give this young lady a mention as she did extremely well in this very good class she had a lovely repore with her dog and was constantly talking to it,her manners were impeccable  moving forward maybe not look at mum so much for approval you don’t need it you are doing just fine.

12-17 yrs 5 entries

Charlotte Robertshaw (Golden Retriever ) Superb handler showing so much talent in her handling  of this dog she made my instructions look easy flowing round the ring effortlessly her lines were correct and precise and ending with a  great freestanding with her dog her attention to detail when presenting her dog was also good couldn’t fault her.

2 nd Ruby Rodgers (Retreiver Labrador ) This handler impressed me in turning a slightly hesitant dog into a confident mover she took her time to get it right and did admirably her lines and triangles were well performed and another handler who understood what I meant by freestanding at the end

3 rd Eliza Darwesh

18-24 yrs  ( Labrador Retreiver )

1 st Jess Bailey A good handler who handled this dog well and was at one with her dog good she listened carefully to instructions given to her which was a problem with some handlers having to repeat instructions she was handling a dog in a breed time that clashed slightly which was a bit unsettling for her at first but once she focused she did the job in hand well ending with a excellent freestand well done

Day 4 Y K C 6-11 yrs  1 entry

1st Rhys Maddocks ( Dachshund wire haired ) I felt this lad walked into the ring with his dog with a positive attitude as if he had a job to do and boy did he do it well the attention and detail in standing his dog on the table to the positive movement and triangle he performed switching when he had to as i had changed my position in the ring right to the very end this handler was focused throughout im sure a bright showing career awaits him

12-17yrs 8 entries

1st Harriet Bruford (Borzoi )This Handler topped this good class with her attention to detail when handling her dog her triangle was so accurate and when she was able upped the pace she was careful at placing her dog at the start in the line up until the end not faltering at all and constantly checking without it looking over handled

2 nd Lillie Betty ( Japanese Spitz ) This handler needed to show quite a bit of attention to her dog and it certainly got it then able to move forward she had correct pace for this dog and lovely straight lines it was a close decision between first and second she just needs to remember you dont know when the judge is glancing at your performance even when it’s not your turn but a good performance of her handling

3 rd Charlotte Mitchell ( Poodle Standard )

18 -24 yrs  1 entry

Rory Walsh  ( Borzoi)  Was impressed How this young man was able to alter how he handled in this competition with a serious problem with his arm and so in turn having to move the opposite way around to everyone else and ive got to say he didn’t let it hinder him he was just as good as the last class winners he was very polite and moved his dog well to show advantage he stood his dog well showing good attention to its position I felt he lacked confidence in himself and im not sure why as he did a good job showing this dog in all respects well done
