CRUFTS

Spaniel (Cocker) Dogs

I would like to thank my stewards for their assistance throughout the day and everyone for accepting my placings with good grace. I have to say a couple of things I found disappointing: Such a lot of incorrect dentition, some level bites and others simply undershot, along with a lot of dirty teeth. Another worrying trend is the lack of breed typical heads. I found few that had good break or stop, many with small or large round eyes, neither what the standard calls for. I think we need to address these faults to take our lovely breed forward. Temperaments were good and much of the movement impressive. All of that said I was delighted with my class winners and places and some classes were so big that good dogs had to go cardless.I thought my final line-up just to my type.
